Red velvet holiday pancakes

SUCH great vibes here!! Everything from the decor to the service to the food just screams fun sixties energy and a rejuvenating breakfast feel. I can't say the food was super standout (although their omelette was pretty incredible and the pancakes are nice and fluffy), but it's definitely some great comfort food and their extensive menu is sure to have something for anyone. More than anything though, you gotta try this place just for the atmosphere if anything, the bright dining room and large plates create a morning vibe that's truly unmatched.

Recently tried sixties diner for the first time. Went on a Saturday morning around 930am and the wait was not long at all. The menu is extensive and has your classics like pancakes, French toast and omlettes, lots of Benedict options, lunch options and then they have specials. Their specialty iced coffees were delicious and everything came out hot. The service was friendly and the lighting is bright, there is a lot to occupy your eye with all the wall decor. Would definitely go again!

Saint Patty's Day decor tin ceiling 60s car stuff

I'm a sucker for a 50s or 60s theme diner. This is a fun one. They have a lot of great decor centering on 60's tv/movies, music and cars. Including placemats that you can guess "who's who." Got to catch some I Dream of Jeannie on the tv screen. We were there for brunch and opted to sit at the counter rather than wait for a table. We were served quickly. I got the greek omelet with rye and homefries and my husband got a saint patricks day special, bangers and eggs with beans. I tried a bit of everything and the food was all very enjoyable. There seemed to be a lot of regulars at the counter from the chats going on which is always a good sign. Would definitely come back. The only negative for me is how loud the restaurant is -if you're not in the mood for the loud music or have a headache coming on, I'd wait to go another day. Finally - Their Saint patty's day decor was fantastic.

Creative specials on the menu, and massive portions of food for a fair price for that much food (maybe too much for a breakfast place where lots of served meals don't store well because of sauces and toppings). Service was wonderful, ambiance is fun!

Firstly, the ambience is terrific and that's the shtick, but the food is also great and that's the wrap. We sat at the bar as it was busy on Sunday morning. Our server Amanda was a hoot, friendly and funny. The decor is reflective of the old days, the 1960's befitting its name. The pictures and album covers on the walls were spot on. The Red Sox bias was evident. It's fine by me as Yaz was my hero! I thought the other sports teams in Boston were overlooked though. I did a slow walk around the whole floor, even the hallway leading to the bathrooms. Every inch of wall was chock full of nostalgic and iconic images. Thinking as the population ages maybe kids have no recollection or clue so how bout and 80's diner after all it is 2025 and the 60s were 70 years ago WOW I am that old! The placemat was a quiz. Took me a few minutes, but I aced it! Now for the food. I thought my eggs benny was great. The yolks ran and I sopped it up with the English muffins. The home fries were heaping and hot at some places they are not. Coffee good and topped off a few times. My friend got eggs. waffles with steak tips that I experienced, thanks pal and they were great. If I came back at lunch, I would get them as they were great quality meat, juicy, and tasty. Plenty of coffee which I needed. Parking is easy as it is a big lot. This is a great experience and a good meal if your near Rt 1 visiting or living around here.

Open concept. My phone lense was a tad blurry.

We always have a great experience here!! We frequent this joint enough to get to know the wait staff! They are all so sweet, friendly and efficient and they all get along really well too! The food - I've never had a bad meal! Portions are perfect, always the perfect temperature the vibe is upbeat & positive with great music. The wait for a table can be a bit much but there's decent turn around at the counter. Highly recommend!!!

Have heard about this place from some people on FB so decided to give it a try. And the food was great, service was great and the atmosphere is amazing. Everything is decorated in 60's style and just fun. Only thing missing was the poodle skirts. I got eggs Benedict and so yummy. Husband got the best French toast I have had in long time. Wish it was closer because I would eat there everyday

Fun decor and atmosphere

This restaurant was not only a fun experience but the food was fantastic. It has all kinds of 1960s posters and decor and TVs showing Gilligan's Island and I Dream of Jeannie. I had the homemade corned beef hash with eggs which was real big pieces of corned beef and potatoes. My husband got the egg sandwich with corned beef hash on it. We shared a chocolate chip pancake. It was delicious. The servers are very nice.

This is such a fun place to dine! The theming is literally everything - they really went off with that. Even your placements will feature either a selection of 60's music artists, films, or TV shows for you to test your knowledge. My brother and I had a great time trying to prove we were born in the wrong generation (we were). The coffee was good, the service was good, there was a lively atmosphere, and I loved the food! I had the Laverne and Swirley French toast which was so good. My brother ordered something with a more normal-sounding name because he was too embarrassed to ask for the French Toast with the "silly" name. He obviously does not understand branding. I swear, it was one of the best French toasts I have ever eaten and I eat A LOT of French Toast. The diner is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. Do yourself a favor and take a step back in time and eat here!

Very nice restaurant with amazing 60s style decor and plays old TV shows like The Flinstones and Leave It To Beaver. The service was very nice too. The food was just ok. Everything was kind of bland. The pancake was kind of rubbery. It could've been what we ordered. Maybe lunch is better?

Veggie omelet, Chuck "Berrys" French toast, and Flo's Florentine Benedict
Alyanna T.

My partner and I got the veggie omelet, Flo's Florentine Benedict, and Chuck "Berrys" French toast - TASTE: 4/5 - standard breakfast/brunch fare, but we were actually impressed by the French toast's strong sweet and cinnamon flavor! TEXTURE: 4/5 - thick omelet, crispy home fries, and fluffy French toast PRICE: 4/5 - wish the prices stayed like they were in the sixties lol, but comparable to The Friendly Toast's menu. Total came to $53 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - the benny was smaller than expected, but still left stuffed SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at noon on a Saturday and attendant said it'd be a half hour wait. Waiting room lobby was full so we killed time at Harbor Freight Tools next door then in the car, and our buzzer indeed rang at the 30min mark. Food came out in 15min after ordering ATMOSPHERE: 5/5 - such a fun, colorful diner space w the walls completely decked out in 60s memorabilia from music, movies, and TV -- truly enjoyed soaking it in. Note: it's a pretty open floor layout, so the noise can get loud! PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking in the plaza's lot

Great variety of food options in a bright and fun ambiance. I love the different placemats - all 60s themed of course - which is a great way to pass the time while you wait for your food. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu!

Great atmosphere, staff and food was great. They accommodated a very large group, 24 soccer players and they did a remarkable job.

It's right across the street from a war museum. But careful, you'll miss it if you blink. My husband and I both had the eggs and bacon with home fries-he had hash browns. My home fries were huge chunky seasoned potatoes, his were fried on the outside as expected of hash browns, mushy on the inside. Not so appetizing. The menu is very simple. While our initial waitress didn't give us the time of day, the young lady who brought our plates was a delight. She never missed a refill of water or coffee. The prices were about where you'd expect nothing outrageous. $38.00 for the two with coffee.

These ladies (though both fairly new to the bar) were warm, engaging and respectful - checked in just enough to make sure we were happy and enjoying, but were never disruptive or intrusive. Y'all gotta get a better jalapeno cheese or add a real jalapeno to it. The other issue was, the smashed potatoes were inconsistent due to the salt content. However, everything else ordered was very good. By the way. Met the manager. Her name is Ms. Abigail. Talk about accommodatingly awesome! The coffee was never ending the hubby ended up getting the Scott special which has three eggs, sausage, patties, toast, and red home fries potatoes. This is definitely a hidden jewel in Dedham.
