Open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch, this place is consistently good. Service is super friendly and food is always comforting and satisfying.

Tasty and generous portion. Spacious inside and sofa are comfortable. Waitresses are friendly. Will come back for sure.

This is my breakfast go to! It has a home town feel to it. They have booths and tables. The coffee is delicious. I love the French toast and great homemade grilled home fries with a little bit of onions. The staff is fast, efficient and friendly. This morning I went in before the crowd hit and got a good pic. My Grandkids love the pancakes and waffles.

Stopped here on our way home from Boston and it was the perfect, cozy spot for a delicious weekend breakfast! The staff was helpful and friendly, and service was fairly quick. Our breakfasts were delicious and made to order. We will definitely be back!

My son said this is the best waffle he's ever had.

Best breakfast place around. Top tier pancakes and waffles. Highly recommend the Belgium waffle.

Banana Walnut Pancakes were great. Price was right and portions were reasonable. While waiting for our takeout order, we caught a glimpse of other meals, such as sandwiches and omelets, being brought to diners. They also seemed to be generously portioned and the menu shows that prices are reasonable on those as well. Some of the other Yelp reviews complained about slow service, long waits, but I have yet to go to a breakfast nook on a weekend day that doesn't have this problem. It's hard to get people willing to work for just a few hours starting early on a Saturday and Sunday for low wages. The pandemic only made things worse.

The breakfast request was Ham and poached medium eggs, crispy potatoes no salt, and sourdough toast- what I received was HARD poached eggs, potatoes with so much salt that my blood pressure would raise to the roof and Id likely have a stroke- and the toast arrived with the hard poached eggs plonked ontop so the bread was wet and soggy!!!! When I discussed with the server her response, "I'm so sorry the potatoes are always served like this, we put salt on them in the kitchen, oh, Yes I see the toast is soggy, and yes the eggs are hard...." she made NO offer to bring me my breakfast as ordered- but she said Im so sorry about 5 times.." When are people going to realise that "Im sorry" is overused and means nothing when no attempt is made to rectify the issue.

We stopped in on our road trip and were so impressed! Super warm and friendly service, and the breakfasts were HUGE and delicious. Menu had some great variety for breakfast and the place is spotless.

Great location in Foxboro center. Friendly and inviting place. A lot of food for not a lot of money. Really great value. I will definitely come here again. Try the eggs Benny. Despite being short staffed everywhere, the service was great at The Commons.

    Strawberry "stuffed" French toast

I didn't do any research before coming here and I wish I did. I knew I wanted breakfast and it was the closest place to where I was at the time. We walked into the old fashioned establishment and immediately thought they had the air conditioning on. It's March 9th. I am warm blooded and to me it was freezing. We got sat by an older woman. Both my mom and I ordered a soda. My mom simply asked if there were free refills and the lady said yes in a "I can't believe you just asked me that" way. As she put her back towards my mom to walk away, she rolled her eyes. Is the cost of the soda to refill coming out of her pocket? That set the mood for the whole dining experience. I'm not a French toast kinda girl but thought I'd try the stuffed French toast. It looked a lot better than it tasted. When I ordered a strawberry stuffed French toast, I didn't think it would be a thin layer of sliced strawberries and a huge blob of cream cheese. The cream cheese was overly sour. I'm sure if I got the French toast plain, it would have fine. Maybe I had different expectations of what "stuffed" meant. My mom got an omelette and was asked if she wanted cheese. What omelette DOESN'T come with cheese and what place CHARGES for cheese in said omelette? I'm still confused by that. The omelette was pretty good and the home fries are how I like them. Not much seasoning, soft on the inside with a little crunch on the outside. The bill came to around $24 including tip. Not bad priced but I'd rather spend more somewhere else and actually enjoy my experience/food.

still a bustling place and very welcoming, but not incredibly busy where one would feel cramped or neglected. server is efficient and attentive, yet friendly and relaxed, never rushed us to order or to leave. food came quickly, tastes good, made to expectation. portion size is reasonable, pricing is fair. just realized that there is a sizable parking lot in the back of restaurant, entering from Wall St., with back door access into restaurant. street parking is readily available but a bit high stress to parallel park on the busy road. didn't think of checking time limit on parking until over an hour later, server thought it was fine and thankfully no ticket. but i would recommend checking next time, or just pull into the back lot. very great place to chill alone or with a friend. recommend!

Yes, it really is gator, and they are bite sized! (Tenderloin in the description had me thinking they were larger) Now, since I've not had gator before, I really have nothing to compare to. Still, the dish seemed to be cooked quite nicely. The breading added a nice crunch, but these being slightly larger than popcorn chicken, they had a little more breading than I would have liked. Also nicely seasoned! Personally I could have used a touch less salt, but I know this is due to heightened sensitivity on my part. The kicking bayou sauce was pleasant, but didn't offer enough kick for me. It was creamy and savory, and did offer a nice dimension to the dish. They also have hot sauces on the side if you are looking to add that kick! I can't really comment on the price, since events like July 4th usually result in higher prices. The service was fairly quick, especially for something that came out fresh! I'd be happy to give this truck another try, only I don't see myself going down for o Rhode Island for it... yet

It also had crunchy bacon and the side of fries were perfectly crisp. I also am a fan of sriracha so it's always a plus when it is offered at a food truck or restaurant. I ordered the Pulled Pork Platter ($17 plus tax) which includes choice of two sides and cornbread. The food was hot and ready at the pickup counter in under 5 minutes. The portion of food was generous with a big mound of tender smoked pulled pork, cheesy Mac & cheese, and a creamy potato salad with hard boiled egg pieces in the mix. The cornbread was crumbly and not too sweet. I dispensed some St. Louis and House BBQ sauces (sweet & smoky) and they also have a spicy BBQ sauce too. A local, I've eaten there three times and it's consistently good, with friendly staff. It's good for takeout or sitdown in a no-frills dining room. Patriot Place is a weird location - because of the football games and concerts that bring in lots of one-time eaters, restaurants there don't really have to try, and most just... don't try. So many food places sound good, with wonderful menus, but turn out to be deeply meh or outright inedible. It's been a nice change that Axel & Byrne is actually good food, every time. I really like their burnt ends platter, and the homemade vinegary Carolina sauce. I ended up stealing fries from my friend's plate and dipping them in the Carolina sauce, and mmmmmmm. So good.
