Irish eggs Benedict with hash browns.

Classic old-school diner, great charm and fun - plus the food is solid diner fare, brekkie all-day (well, till 2pm anyway). I had their "Irish" style eggs Benedict which replaced the back bacon with corned beef hash and it was filling and tasty. My daughter had a 2-egg combo with sausages, hash browns, and toast. The sausages were juicy and flavorful. Service was prompt and friendly, though a little brisk just like a busy diner should be. Cash only.

Great diner in a vintage "car." Formica tables, some americana behind the diner bar. Great vibes. I also love the pretty tile trim detail along the wall. It can be quite packed when it's busy, but the servers get people in and out. The most recent time we were here is was a bit slow so we got to sit in a booth. We each got a one egg breakfast and split a beautiful waffle. The prices are good and the food is solid diner fair. They don't skimp on the butter on the bread. We've gotten some tasty specials here in the past as well. They are cash only, so hit up one of the atms in the shaws plaza down the street first. Also there is a public lot next to the diner. If you want to go full vintage you can go to the candle pin bowling hall on the other side of that public lot after your tasty diner meal.

The service was just ok. It was very busy. Food wasn't that great, but I have NEVER eaten good at a diner. It's what I expected. Diner ambience, nothing more, nothing less. There were egg shells in my omelette. I also asked for kielbasa and received linguica ( which I dislike). We were hungry, otherwise, we don't do diners .

    Breakfast

Service and food are excellent, portions are big and their prices are little. This is the best in Norwood. It is a small place but trust me it's worth it.

I've already posted my view in the past everything was out of this world. Little pricier than I expected but with Covid everything has gone up. As you can see from my pictures this time and before. Things are about the same

Quaint little diner in Norwood center. Nothing fancy but inviting. Friendly staff (although a little unaware at times). Saturday breakfast with the fam. Seated right away. Easy menu. Prices are amazing so definitely a bang for your buck. They have a lot of size options for the egg meals they do (1 egg, 2 eggs, 3 etc) which is nice for the not so hungry patron. What surprised me was that they had those number options for Benedict's too. Simple menu but still more than just the normal diner breakfast. And you can add gyro to most meals which is fun. Gonna try that next. Multiple Specials daily which keeps it fun. Benedict was simple but well made. Simple sauce, paprika was a little heavily placed in a very small concentrated area. Eggs were poached the way I like them, less running than normal places but still yolky (not sure if that was intentional or not but it was appreciated!) Not much for side options and you only get one (so no toast or anything gratis) but for the very great price I have no complaints. Meal was good, not phenomenal but again the price makes the meal taste better! The breakfast deal of eggs, pancakes, meat and homefries choice is the best and biggest deal for your money. My family enjoyed theirs a lot. Pancakes were good. Hash browns were those chopped potatoes and not frozen McDonald's patty style so THAT WAS GREAT. Definitely try this spot out. I want to try their specials out for sure!

This is a cool little old school diner right off the center in Norwood. It looks like a diner from a time capsule of the 50's. Pretty good diner food-burgers, breakfast grub. Open later on Fri with lots of seafood specials. Sometimes I enjoy the nostalgic look and feel of the old diners that are still around. The place is busy around lunchtime, you may have to eat at the counter or wait a few minutes, but it shouldn't be more than a few. The food and service both move fast here.

It's colorful, it's groovy, it's bright, it's nostalgic. Even the employees are wearing shirts with funky themes and patterns. There are TVs showing shows from back then. The floors are checkered, the ceiling is silver, the chairs are red and the tables are blue. We were seated at a booth, which can more than comfortably sit 4-6 people. The menu is HUGE, think cheesecake factory but for a diner. There's a little bit of everything but the font and everything around it makes it hard to focus on what each item is. I went very simple and chose the Simon and Garfunkel which included two pancakes or French toast, two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, toast, and home fries for $18.99. After about 15 minutes, our food came out. The bacon could have been crispier, with some parts being wobbly. The sausage was thick, juicy, and savory. The potatoes were a little bland and mushy on the outside. The eggs were cooked medium, just how I requested them, and the englush muffin was a little different than your traditional ones since it didn't have the little pockets of air but it was still good. The French toast was moist, but I wish it had more cinnamon - the egg was the dominant flavor. Overall, it was a very satisfying breakfast. There is plenty of parking as it's in a plaza

These ladies (though both fairly new to the bar) were warm, engaging and respectful - checked in just enough to make sure we were happy and enjoying, but were never disruptive or intrusive. Fluffy Eggs althoughI couldn't taste the jalapeno cheese, excellent pork sausage, french toast and pancakes were awesome. My sisters complaint was about the jalapeno cheese. Y'all gotta get a better jalapeno cheese or add a real jalapeno to it. The other issue was, the smashed potatoes were inconsistent due to the salt content. However, everything else ordered was very good. By the way. Met the manager. Her name is Ms. Abigail. Talk about accommodatingly awesome! With her confident and compassionate customer service acumen, she made everthing perfect. We'll be back soon. Hope to see y'all here in the near future.

The eggs, Benedict. I asked that you have grilled English muffins and they were grilled to perfection. The food was 20 feet from me. When It came out it was hot and fresh cooked perfectly. All the white of the egg was cooked. The yellow was just runny enough. We got onions in our home fries and they were grilled Just perfect as well. The coffee was never ending the hubby ended up getting the Scott special which has three eggs, sausage, patties, toast, and red home fries potatoes. This is definitely a hidden jewel in Dedham. I'm probably making a mistake putting on this review because people are going to find it and I will never be able to get in the door again. The servers name was Jane. She was out of this world right on top of everything. Our coffee cup was never empty. That to me is the best part of any meal going out. Looking forward to coming back. They are closed from July 2nd to July 18th for vacation also. Check them out u won't be disappointed.
