I've been dealing with Sleep Shoppe is Simi Valley for well over a decade. Recently I had a high end mattress that had a depression issue after 8 years. The mattress had a 10 year warranty which I needed to exercise. The Sleep Shoppe was instrumental in working with the manufacturer in order to help us get our mattress replaced under warranty. Bought a Simmons beauty rest mattress and box spring. A little over one year went by and the bed is like a Hammoc. They sent somebody out to look at it who said too bad it's not bad enough to be under warranty. Store Wouldn't do anything either. I don't recommend you take their advice go somewhere else. read more

I went to The Sleep Shoppe looking for some bolts for a bed that were misplaced when we took it apart. The staff at The Sleep Shoppe were friendly and helpful. Even though I only needed 8 bolts vs a mattress, they treated me just the same. They called back when promised with an update telling me they found the bolts. When I went to pick them up they told me there was "no charge" and to come back when I need a mattress. I will definitely be back. read more

Terrible customer service! There's something to say about going to the "big" mattress stores instead of your local mattress store. Brianna, the receptionist who works in the delivery department, has the worst attitude ever. I would never hire her and I'm embarrassed for the people who did hire her. She is rude and ignorant. We called to change our delivery time last week because the time they decided they could deliver didn't work for us. During that exchange she was rude but we thought perhaps she's having a bad day. Then we called to confirm our delivery for tomorrow and to find out what time they decided they could deliver our already fully paid for mattress and she said "I don't know we haven't scheduled your time yet." We further inquired can you at least check to make sure we are on the list of scheduled deliveries to which she responded "um no it's not set up yet." If I could cancel my delivery and get my money back on the mattress I would. Lesson learned next time Sit N Sleep here we come!! read more

They made sure we understood the benefits of the bed we selected, we were given the best price, we understood the delivery process and called as soon as the delivery date was confirmed. I have bought several mattresses from The Sleep Shoppe. They have the great sales reps. Most sales people are pushy, not The Sleep Shoppe they like to know what you like and dislike about your current mattress. Then they will show you several options to lie on and see how you like the feel. Horrible experience! I purchased a mattress on Labor Day weekend and was told I would be called Friday to setup a delivery time for Saturday, I received a call on Friday and was told their was an error and will not be receiving it on Saturday. I was then called on Saturday and told that they will know more on Monday when it would be delivered. I had to call them on Monday to see what was happening with my Mattress, She said she didn't know when it would be delivered and would call me right back. I then had a sales rep call me and said it would be delivered on Wednesday. I called back on Wednesday and was told they have it to be delivered on the Next Saturday. Needless to say I cancelled the order. Not only did they waste 2 weeks of my time, I missed out on all the Labor Day deals. read more

I bought one of their cheaper mattresses about 6 months ago. The woman (I think her name is Judy) messed up my order and I received the wrong mattress (although it looked almost identical but was much firmer, so be careful). So I called to have the right one delivered and the guy apologized profusely and said he would call me right back to remedy the situation, but he never did. I called them 2 days later (2 days because I wanted to give them a chance to call me back). I finally got the mattress I had ordered about a week later. Then (against my better judgement) I went back to help my friend select his mattress today. I only went back here because the last time I had shopped around, they had the lowest prices of the cheaper sets. I figured we would just make sure they had the order number right this time to avoid a reoccurrence of my previous experience. Anyways, I got "Judy" again and she was very short with us. I assume its because we werent interested in looking at the $2000 beds she was trying to steer us towards. Also, DON'T expect them to work with you on pricing too much. This time around their prices were NOT competitive so the whole experience was very disappointing. We left and drove down the street and got really great service and a KILLER deal at the other mattress store in town! I left a 5 star review for them... Just look for the mattress shop on Yelp that has all great reviews and go THERE :) read more

After many years the old mattress finally gave up the ghost. My daughter had bought a mattress at this store for our grandson and she liked the store very much. The store itself is not impressive on the outside but we figured we would check it out anyway. When we entered the store we were greeted by Judy who said she had been selling mattresses for a long time. She seemed very knowledgeable and asked me several pertinent questions. She had me try several different styles and comfort levels. I found the correct one for me and we are very happy with our purchase, she even gave me 10 percent off. I forgot my free pillow coupon so I guess the discount was in place of the pillows. I liked the free delivery and pick up of the old mattress. We are very happy with our purchase and will return to this store in the future. I highly recommend taking a look at this store if you are in the market for a mattress. read more
