Tables might seem small, but once situated. Perfectly fine. They encourage QR code, but they provide paper menus too.

This place is kind of a hybrid for service. They absolutely will wait on you, but encourage more of a self serve motif. Staff were friendly and response to requests. If you want to be waited on (in a traditional sense) you might want to try elsewhere. Great outdoor patio. Tables are squeezed in, but you don't feel squeezed. Really surprising. What is equally surprising, but in a bad way... are their chairs. They are very sturdy. Nice looking. But you will not be touching the back rest much. They lean back. So short of lounging while eating you are propping yourself up. I had lunch with a friend and was there for 2 hours and it was fine. But if you there more for dine and dash, chairs are lacking in design. We actually both had the Cuban burger. We subbed fries for chips for an extra $2.50 each. Adding a dipping sauce is another $1. So all in $18.50 menu price for burger and fries. Burger patty was average, but combined with the "Cuban" goodies made it above average. Is it worth $15? Maybe...when you consider you're there for the outdoor seating. The fries are...OUTSTANDING! Tartar sauce...outstanding! So often tarter is too dilly. Not theirs. Absolutely a repeat. I suspect their fish n chips will be good too because a good tarter says a lot. But their portion of fries is on the small side. I'll put it this way...I'm a fry dipper but little thing of tarter provided for $1 was more than enough. Then enough for the subbed fries. Their varied drink menu is yummy looking. I wish I could have tried a few different drinks they looked so good. Kraken..yum! Old school old fashion...equally yummy. They know their drinks! Parking isn't bad. But on a nice weekend may be a little tough. On a sunny Friday for lunch..non issue parking. Will I go back? Yes but it won't be a destination per se. When i go there, i wont be going for the burger itself, I'll be going there for the whole experience. Great service, nice outdoor seating in a pleasant location, and a burger with topping options that are not overly common. There are a few other burger places near there I haven't tried yet, but I'd probably try those for ToGo before the Slip because of the cost.

TERRIBLE!!!!! I am visiting here for the first time and ordered a burger and to my unpleasant surprise, the PAPER from the burger patty was still inside my burger and after eating half I began to choke and barely breathe and discovered that I had eaten half of the paper from the burger. I immediately called over a manager and his response was "I will give you $20 dollars back for the burger". They could care less! I notified all of the other guest and they were terrified! Their additional response was that the person that made my burger was in "training" and they had no idea of how to deal with the situation. PLEASE do not go to this restaurant!!! This was so horrific and now I am on the way to the ER IN hopes that I do not have any health issues. My breathing is off and it's hurts to digest anything! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! *PLEASE SEE PICTURES!!! ******

We finished a 5K and saw this place. We waited for them to open. Ok so we sat ourself and ordered using a QR code. 35-40 minutes later they brought over our food. My husband ordered a Bleu Balsamic burger that came with chips , I had the Le Mushroom Burger with a side of yam fries on a gluten bun. My husband enjoyed his choice but no high reviews. It didn't taste like a frozen patty so I was somewhat impressed. You have to get your own water and bust your own table after you eat. Seating was outside which was perfect on this sunny day. It's a burger place!

$5 for 5 mini onion rings... just be aware.

$1 per mini onion ring... very expensive for very little food. Onion rings are $5 extra, but they literally only give you 5 small onion rings (they were like mini one inch size - see photo) and they were burned too. I brought it up to the cook. She said that is the policy - only 5. So, just be aware that you are paying extra money for very little food. The host/server was kind and understanding though, he understood why this would be upsetting for the customer. But, buyer beware when it comes to portion sizes and extra charges.

We passed by this spot so many times but never tried it until now. It's a small little place near the marina with some indoor and outdoor seatings. The ambiance here is very cozy and homey. You feel like you're at home watching a football games with friends and family :) there's definitely regulars here that come often We got the slip burger and paid extra for the pickle fries. It usually come with chips but we subbed it. The pickle fries was unique, as it was actual fries shape not like pickle chips. It was a little salty in my preference. The burger was good though, definitely satisfy any burger cravings. Price was good as well. Definitely want to try their happy hour menu though as it looks pretty good

This place is located one minute walking distance from the lakeside, which means it is the PERFECT establishment to come by, grab some fish and chips to go, and eat them while watching a sunset! Executed perfectly. The food was not overly greasy but was excellently fried. I'd say they were quite a bit over salted, unfortunately, but they were yummy with tartar sauce and ketchup! I haven't tried anything else here so I don't have too much more to add, but I would say that the best move is to take the food and sit by the water and listen to the music. Incredibly delicious, meditative, and calming! Notes: you do need a vaccine card and ID to sit in, and happy hour (3-5p) is dine-in only!

Such a lovey place for some afternoon drinks near the Kirkland waterfront. They have open patio seating with umbrellas. The menu is scannable via QR code on the table and our service was fast and efficient. Their customer service is immaculate. We ordered the cranberry lemonade to enjoy. Will definitely be coming back! Parking: free street parking

Only ordered fish and chips as a quick snack. Didn't expect much, and was pleasantly surprised. The chips were great. They gave a generous amount and it freshly fried and has a great crisp/crunch to it. The fish itself was breaded, not like a usual beer battered style fish. It was still moist and flaky, and tasted great, but just note that its not the usual style of fried fish that you usually see with fish and chips.

I got the combo - Hawaiian chicken + karaage requesting extra salad instead of rice, as well as a half order of loco moco. It's nice that there is half order as a lot of Hawaiian restaurants tend to be full orders so it is incredibly hard to try a variety of options if you're solo or in a small group. The Hawaiian chicken and karaage both are juicy and delicious. It's great that the combo is the same price as the standard individual options so I got to try more variety without paying extra. I looked at the reviews and opted to remove the rice and get extra salad which was a good move - their chop chop salad is very delicious with a nice balance of dressing, cheese, and ham. I still had some rice from the loco moco, which was sufficient for me. The loco moco is good - I wished the patty was a bit less tough but the gravy and egg make up for it. Overall, great value and great food. I'd be a regular if I didn't live so far from Kirkland (1 hr drive for food can be challenging in busy schedules)

I noticed that most of the ladies who take the order, push for addons/fixin's, while the males listen to the order quietly. For example, my usual order is double baconmaster no lettuce no tomatoes. When I order with a male, he listens, takes the order and I pay, no drama. When a lady takes the order, she usually interrupts me at the "double baconmaster " and asks if I want onions pickles and whatever. So I have to say no, and say "no lettuce no tomatoes". She then asks again to confirm about onions and pickles etc. NOOOOOO I don't want anything more, just listen to what I want!!! Today in particular, this new lady that I never interacted with, did the same thing and made it very difficult and unpleasant. I wish the servers stopped being pushy and learned to just listen. It's probably ok to ask for extras at the end, but let the customer finish the order please. I'll keep my review 5* for now, but it bothers me so much that I might knock it down if this doesn't change, it ruins my experience. Edit 4/25/2026: okay, exactly the day after this review, I went back. A young male server takes the order, today I ordered my usual, but I did not say no lettuce no tomatoes (want the full experience today). He takes the order, smiles and asks "no no lettuce and tomatoes today?". I mean, this is service, he made me feel good and the whole interaction was pleasant and respectful. He didn't ask for anything else. Awesome service.

I've visited other Shake Shacks before, but this was my first time visiting their Kirkland location. The Kirkland location is pretty big and has a good amount of indoor seating and outdoor patio seating. It's located across from QFC and the kiddie fountains, and so you can enjoy your burger while watching your kids (or dogs) play in the water in the summer. My family ordered: - VEGGIE SHACK ($9.99 for a single patty, $12.99 for a double patty) - Veggie burger packed with mushrooms, sweet potatoes, carrots, farro, and quinoa, and topped with American cheese, crispy onions, pickles and ShackSauce. This is not your typical Impossible burger or black bean burger, although it has more the texture of the latter. The patty exterior is crispy and the interior is soft and mushy, which complements the crunchy pickles well. It's a little on the sweeter side because of the sweet potato and carrots, but overall a satisfying veggie burger. If it weren't for the fries and shake, I'd probably get a double patty as one patty wasn't satiating enough for lunch. - 'SHROOM BURGER ($9.99) - Crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. This was another unique vegetarian burger as I've never had a mushroom substituted for a patty before, much less, a fried mushroom stuffed with cheese. If you like mozzarella sticks, this is the burger for you! - CHEESEBURGER ($7.99 for a single patty, $10.99 for a double patty, $13.99 for a triple patty) - A made-to-order quarter pound per patty of 100% Angus beef with American cheese, and your choice of toppings on a toasted potato bun. We were a little disappointed by this burger as it doesn't come with topping by default and so it was a pretty plain burger. Apparently you have to ask for the toppings when ordering at the register (which we didn't know) or order via kiosk or online. - FRIES ($4) - enough talk about the burgers, these crinkle cut fries might have been the BEST FRIES we've ever had. They were burning hot right out of the fryer, super crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. They had just the right amount of salt and had a good body to them to, where even the longest strands didn't break. We loved these so much, that we ended up ordering an extra basket after we finished off the first. - VANILLA SHAKE ($6) - House-made vanilla frozen custard with real vanilla. I prefer my shakes on the thicker side, but this didn't quite meet the mark as it was more liquidy than I would've liked (perhaps because it's custard-based). While it supposedly contains real vanilla, there aren't any vanilla bean flecks and so it most likely just uses vanilla extract. It was cold and refreshing, but can't say I'd go out of my way for it. - COFFEE SHAKE ($6) - Dark roast coffee hand-spun with our house-made vanilla frozen custard. The coffee taste was kind of flat and tasted more like a Frappuccino. The lid also wasn't screwed on properly (or had extra liquid that got stuck underneath the lid) and so it spilled everywhere. Service was great and we got our food within 10 minutes after ordering. They bring the food to your table and you bus yourself. The outdoor tables were relatively clean. Overall: 4/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere
