My husband and I came here for a nice first date night eager to try a new spot, ChatGPT claimed that this was the epitome of fine dining in Redmond. While the Redmond food scene doesn't stand out against others like Bellevue and Seattle, even Issaquah and Woodinville, we expected a certain level of quality. Upon walking in, the vibes were more of tavern than steakhouse. Once seated in the back in our deteriorating booth, our server came to collect our drink orders which came out in good time. However, our first concerns started surfacing when we asked questions about the menu. Many items listed indicated the warning around undercooked or raw foods, I'm pregnant so it is a bit alarming when things like the roasted chicken have the undercooked asterisk. Our server blatantly brushed off our concerns stating that obviously that wouldn't be undercooked... we received similar answers when my husband inquired about our servers recommendations for steak and a glass of wine: short, brisk, and largely unhelpful. His service continued to be fleeting and disregarding throughout our entire experience. The food came out, I ordered the chicken and my husband had ordered the delmonico, and looked good but was fairly bland. The steak looked like one you might order at Applebees, my chicken was fine just a tad salty. Although the quality of the food was mediocre at best the portion size was very generous. Now, this pregnant lady loves her desert, so I was very excited to try their skillet cookie! We ordered it, it took about 15 minutes to come out as they needed to freshly bake it which is more than fine. Rather than a delicious, gooey chocolate chip cookie, we received a bready, dense, bland cookie. I almost cried. Had a prime rib dip and French onion soup. Soup was less than mediocre but not horrible. The prime rib dip wa so salty it was not edible and way over cooked or several days old. Could not even feed the meat to the dog. It's unfortunate because this looks like a great venue but I will never eat here again. Barf!!! read more

Had a delicious happy hour experience at Prime before some pre-holiday shopping. My dirty martini was mixed perfectly and the burger on HH menu was giant (and delish). I love that HH menu items aren't a smaller version of the main menu but truly the same item at a value. Our server was on top of everything and very professional. We visited on a Thursday night for dinner, with a party of 4 adults and 2 kids, and it was a good experience. We arrived and were seated right away, the place was maybe one third full. The waiter stopped by, took drink orders and explained the menu and specials. The cocktails were refreshing. We begin with a couple appetizers and salads; Deviled Eggs, Bone Marrow, French Onion Soup, Potato Soup, and a Wedge Salad. These were all well prepared and tasty. From there we had a Porterhouse, a NY Strip, the Steak Sandwich and 2 kids meals. The steaks were cooked perfectly and no complaints with the rest of the meals. The service was very good, with one exception. My wife ordered the Potato Soup. The waiter brought out 2 French Onion soups instead. We pointed out the error, and he almost began to argue (all of us heard her order Potato, she hates onions), but then he took the bowl back. He then brought out the smallest cup of soup I've ever seen, maybe 2 tablespoons. When the check came, it was listed as 2 French Onions soups at $15 each. It was Christmas Eve and after chasing down a few last minute items we decided to relax and enjoy Happy Hour at Prime. Great decision. Although the bar was extremely busy the service was friendly, efficient, and fast. It was a real testament to the staff how unfazed they appeared despite the number of orders they were processing. We decided to share the prime rib dip, which considering the portion size turned out to be a smart move. Great sandwich, plenty of prime rib and a good balance of caramelized onions. We visited Prime for a celebration dinner recently and had an excellent meal. It has more of a casual atmosphere for a steak place, but the food is really good. Service was nice and fast (and they were particularly good filling water glasses and clearing plates). It is not a big wine glass, but they have some good Washington reds and we ordered one. For appetizers, we had the bruschetta. This had great tomatoes and I loved the garlic crostini. For the steak, I had the tomahawk (which was a bone-in ribeye). It normally comes with something called a cowboy rub, but that included coffee which was not of interest. The steak was cooked absolutely perfectly at medium rare and very flavorful, just wonderful. I ordered this with the baked potato--make sure to get this with cheddar cheese and bacon. We also had the mushrooms and asparagus--both those were excellent as well. Then for dessert, I split the flourless chocolate cake. This was good, but was elevated with great ice cream and then caramel sauce. We will definitely be back. read more

It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. The food was fantastic! We started with the baby greens salad and it didn't disappoint. It was a nice blend of flavors. I would have liked to get more of the goodies (strawberries, cheese) but it was still great. The lamb chops are a must! Cooked perfectly and not overdone. I got a 8 oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. I haven't had steak in over a year because I like my steak medium and had to wait to have my baby to truly enjoy a great steak. I hosted a party of four on Saturday, 2/21/2026. The service was good. However, my order of crab cake benedict was mediocre at best, the crab cakes and Hollandaise had little to no flavor. My wife's order of a lobster roll similarly lacked much flavor. The other two members of our party parked their car in the restaurant's lot while we ate and attended a nearby performance of the Cirque du Soleil. Came here for a lunch meeting and didn't want to get a heavy steak. Noticed there was a prime rib dip sandwich on the menu for a decent price. I was absolutely amazed by how delicious this sandwich was. It had some caramelized onions and a very light amount of horseradish already applied to the bun. It was as if they knew what I wanted on my sandwich. Each dip into the au jus was as if an angel were diving into a lake. The sounds of the church choir in the back of my head pressed on with each bite of this amazing sandwich. I was amazed and yet so happy with this piece of sandwich perfection. Located in downtown Redmond, they have their own parking lot, but you have to tell them you are eating there to park for free. Their building has an oldie, dark brown, part modern, part cottage vibe. For a weekday, it was pleasantly busy. Being near Microsoft and other companies have its benefits. Our service was pleasant. The hostess and server were helpful. The food arrived swiftly. Overall, no complaints in general. The Food: Prime Seafood Chowder, $15 - 4 Stars Menu: Shrimp, Scallops, Salmon, House Stock, Potatoes, Carrots, Celery, Corn, Green Onion, Cream This is a visually pleasing chowder with shredded bits of salmon on top. I am not too crazy about some of the veggie chunkiness, especially the corn. The chowder creaminess and consistency are good. Overall, I would still recommend the chowder. Seared Foie Gras, $28 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Fig Jam Mustarda, Port Reduction Pan Sauce, Sourdough Crostini, Micro Greens This would have been so, so good, if there was less jam. The fig jam is great. There was just too much. Almost all fig jams are very sweet. My first bite was super sweet. I separated the pieces, scraped off the excess jam, then took the second bite. Now, it tastes savory, as it should be! Halibut was the fish of the day, which I tend to be leery of because they are very easily overcooked. I ordered it anyway since I am not a steak eater, and requested the sides of salmon, which is quinoa and asparagus. They were accommodating and prepared it per my request. The halibut was still a touch on the dense and overcooked side, but it was pretty good. I definitely have had worse. 16oz Ribeye with baked potato, $58 - 5 Stars Ordered medium rare, and they delivered spot on. Hubby was happy. Well been wanting to come here for a while now and needlessly to say I was highly disappointed. Seemed pretty empty for a steakhouse considering its location at 5pm. The host took my wife and I to what felt like the back room. Maybe it was just me but I was hoping for some bread to eat in between meals. But the music and ambiance just don't match the decor. We started off with crabs the salad would be better if there was more salad than capers. The cakes itself were bland lack of season and more of a tuna taste than crab plus the fry was very oily not a good sear either. Caesar salad was probably the highlight (for me at least) but the croutons were almost stale tasting. Salad and dressing was mixed well maybe add more than one anchovy also the lettuce was starting to turn pinkish or reddish but that means it's just been exposed to moisture and air. I had the 16 oz ribeye with garlic mash my wife had the filet minion 8oz with garlic mash and we had the lobster Mac and cheese as a side. My ribeye was well underwhelming... fat was rendered down and overall difficult to cut whether it be the choice of steak they use or just how they prepared it, it wasn't very good. The garlic mash tasted normal could've used more salt. The lobster Mac was not worth the price that it's charged. The filet was immaculate. This is the one and only time I wish I ordered the fillet instead of the ribeye. Overall I rate prime steakhouse compared to the others I've been to. 3.2/10. Imma say it Redmond doesn't have good food from my personal experience. read more

I did not get the waitress name but she was so sweet and attentive. You have to ask for their sourdough table bread (no charge) I love sourdough and this one was soft but firm and really good with the bone marrow. First time trying bone marrow and it was so perfect. Chefs kiss all day. It came with a pickled arugula And onion salad that paired real nice with it. It also had this bacon jam, i did without it but my friend likes it. We split a porterhouse steak and I couldn't finish my half. It comes with one side and then you can choose additional ones. I forget what our side we got but it was one of the potato dishes. Super good but a LOT of cheese. We got the creamy mashed potatoes (5/5) , Brussels sprouts (100/10 they do have a hint of sweetness but cooked to perfection) Mac and cheese (5/5 wished the portion was more) and asparagus (5/5 cooked to perfection too) . I got a glass of their Malbec red wine which went amazing with the steak. My friend got their Old Fashion. He states this is his favorite Old Fashion anywhere. It was easier to drink compare to other places , but I'm not a big whiskey drinker. For dessert I got the cookie skillet but it was more like a cake then a cookie consistency. Still good but not what I wanted. The crème brûlée also was not what I was expecting. It had a very soft taste of the espresso and had a very thick consistency. This is a nice and rather traditional steakhouse and I would definitely recommend this place if you are craving for steak and don't want to travel too far from Redmond. There is onsite parking but you have to remember tell your hostess or waiter your license plate number so they can validate it for you, otherwise I think the parking is $10/hour. The restaurant has a traditional steakhouse decor. The floor is a little slippery not sure if it was due to grease or what but I found myself take care when walking to/from the restroom. The food is good, not great, hence the 3 star but definitely not bad in anyway. Mind you that taste on food is very subjective so make your own decision. Really nice restaurant We went here on a Sunday haphazardly to grab a bite to eat before going to see The National Concert, overall the food was great with the exception of the lobster Mac and cheese at which our server pleasantly with a smile willfully whisked away and brought a replacement dish which we ended up defaulting to just regular mash potatoes. The setting is very relaxed and the high booths will give you ultimate privacy if you're seeking an intimate setting.
