The staff is friendly, the dental exam areas are clean and modern, there's Netflix, and the hygienists are THOROUGH and gentle. Dr. Huh is very kind. I haven't spent too much time with her since my teeth are sooo clean from my hygienists. I look forward every 6 months to visit the team. The best dental office i've ever experienced! I had been coming to Sam for my dental cleaning at another office and i followed her and Dr. Assudani here! It is totally worth it! I drive from out of town just to see these ladies because i've never encountered such great dental care in my life! This office is first of all as honest as it gets. They are so patient centric and never try to push or oversell anything. They really try to minimize any unnecessary procedures and only offer what they truly think is necessary. I am myself and very conservative especially with any medical procedures and this was exactly the type of office that I was looking for as well. I've had multiple cleanings here and multiple fillings here and I even had a night guard created which has been single-handedly the most beneficial thing I have done for my dental health. They made the fillings so simple and easy and offered free touch up appointments if needed but they were never needed as my fillings came out perfect with no unevenness on either side. I can easily say this is the most honest and most skilled and most GENTLE dental office in the country! I have family from Texas and NYC and Florida who fly in across the country just to get their dental work here! My wife and I have had many procedures done at The Smile Artists and we've never had a bad experience. We both had whitening done before our wedding (which looked great), fillings, and both deep and regular cleanings with many of the hygienists. Dr. Assudani fixed a tooth I chipped and the result is indistinguishable from the original. My most recent procedure was wisdom teeth removal by Dr. Masood and it was about as close to enjoyable as having teeth removed is likely to get. Finally, the patient experience is not complete without a great administrative experience and Jackie at the front desk is the best. She's helpful and friendly and even willing to help breakdown dental insurance choices when the time comes to enroll. Their practices during the pandemic have been top-notch too- limited exposure to other patients, temperature checks, futuristic-looking helmet protection for their staff and new equipment in all the rooms to mitigate risks. Obviously dental work seems like one of the riskiest things to do during the pandemic but I felt comfortable and safe the entire time, and also important, I think their staff were just as well protected. Overall The Smile Artists is the best dentist I've had and even though we moved from the area we'll keep returning in the future. read more

Came back here after my initial visit. The staff is super friendly and the hygienist, Sam, was super gentle. They reached out to me to let me know that I was due for another check up. When I got to the office, the wait was short and they got to it. After Sam finished her cleaning, Dr. Priyanka came to give me a check up. I loved how helpful they were and how I wasn't given a sales pitch. My last dentist was always trying to get me to buy a toothbrush or some other random thing. The folks here actually care about your oral hygiene (weird, I know). I mean who else would straight up tell you some of the home care stuff you'd need to do because a potential cavity was forming? My coworkers have started coming to this place and I'm certainly going back. There are a lot of great dentists in Los Angeles, but what I love about The Smile Artists is that the moment you walk in any dental phobia you have is instantly gone as you "ooo" and "ahh" at how tastefully the office is decorated, the thoughtful mini fridge in the waiting room with refreshments, and the Netflix remote your handed the moment you lay in the chair. First, it was very nice to have a parking garage with plenty of available spots to choose from. Then, walking into the office you are immediately hit with a good vibe. It's not your typical dull white decorations of every other dentist office that I have used, instead, you walk into good music being played with colors on the wall and cool interior design. The first thing you get to do when you sit down in your dental chair is to choose what you want to watch on Netflix on the TV that is right in view while leaning back. OMG! These ladies are the BEST! I'm so happy to support a woman-owned, woman-run business. The staff is always personable and very well-informed. Dr. Assundani is attentive and easy to approach with any lingering questions you may have. I had severe sensitivity in my back teeth (apparently called molars) - thought I needed a root canal (expensive!!). But instead of insisting I get one, she actually sent me to get a second opinion. I went in for a cleaning and everyone was nice enough, the facilities are new and pristine, but throughout the appointment I got the general vibe that they were trying to sell me on stuff - floss picks, electric toothbrushes, etc etc. After the cleaning was done I was told I had two cavities that needed to be filled, so I showed their pics and X-rays to my dad, a recently retired USC-trained dentist, and he squinted at the analysis and recommended a second opinion. Went to another dentist who confirmed there was no need for the fillings - nothing even worth reporting on the first tooth and the second was simply a discolored crevice, not a cavity. So, while they're perfectly experienced practitioners, it feels pretty clear their interests are weighted towards profit over their patients' needs. Won't be going back. read more

Never made me feel pressured with time or uncomfortable with all the questions.
