This company has a "F" rating on the BBB website. I'd gone there to get some work done and they were initially great. They made me feel good about my insurance coverage and how little I would have to pay it out of pocket. I'd ask when I was leaving how much I owed and it was always either "nothing, it's covered" or some small amount. Then I'd start getting bills for thousands of dollars. I was also billed for a partial denture that I never received. I physically went to the office to ask about it and get transcripts of all my records. I showed them multiple charges for things I didn't get. They said they would take care of it. Now, more than a year later, I get a bill for $259 and they tell me it's because they were updating their billing system and it was missed. This is for supposed care I got in April and July 2024. It's now 2026. Their billing department even called me to try to collect. All they do if you dispute a charge and refuse to pay that part, is threaten to send it to collections. There are several complaints like this in the BBB site. Long and short of it. The care is adequate, but don't believe them when they discuss your out of pocket cost. read more

They did my son wrong. They were supposed to get everything done before he turned 21. One filling they did didn't work and he's been in pain ever since. They've supposedly fixed it twice. His dentist said they'd redo the filling. And that the tooth was covered for a year. Then Monday they said his dentist retired and his new dentist Said it was going to need a root canal and he needs a gingivitis an we had to pay over 1k out of pocket. This place scams you for fees. I was told a price for dental work. They kept trying to upsell me with additional services. I kept declining. And when I was brought an invoice it was 3 x the price of a year ago. When I finally agreed they came back with an additional $300 dollars added to the price. They could not itemize or explain the additional $300. They just said I'm not sure what she discussed with you but this is the price. So in 2022 I paid $300 for a service and 2024 $1300 for the same service. At the same office. I believe they are price gouging people here. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. The dential assistant took off my wires & now we are waiting for the orthodontist to tell the dental assistant what to do. I cannot stress enough to AVOID this location and business in general. I've had to cancel and reschedule ATLEAST 10 different appointments. Because either the doctor isn't coming in that day, it's a holiday but they still scheduled you, or they don't do specific work past a certain time, but will STILL schedule you during that time and only let you know the day before. I'm lucky my job has been understanding of the short notice changes in appointments i've had, but I doubt others will be so lucky. The admin staff as well as the call center are not very knowledgeable because they literally open TWO account profiles under my name. So appointments were double scheduled or not scheduled at all. This is all for orthodontic (invisalign). The DENTIST office is just as bad. I called and verified they took my insurance. Went in and they said they do take my insurance. Then a YEAR later I get a bill for a cleaning because apparently they didn't really call and verify because the systems were down but yet continued to work on me that day. And of course, "nothing they can do." Ever since then, i've avoided and even told them to cancel my dental appointments but guess what. I still get calls and texts saying I have "upcoming appointments" even AFTER calling and requesting they remove me. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Don't go here. Not even for the sake of convenience. I've taken my boys there for cleaning and a root canal and i've always had a great experience. So when i needed to take care of a cavity and get my deep cleaning done i decided to drive out of my way to get it done at this location. I'm so happy i did. Everyone was extremely nice, explaining what i needed to get done, what my next steps were, etc... Vanessa was my hygienist and she was so great, played music while she deep cleaned my teeth, she made everything so comfortable and we had great convo in between everything. So happy with the results. Everyone i spoke to explained every step and what to do for aftercare. Looking forward to my next appointment. :) read more

DO NOT COME HERE 4 ANYTHING THAT DEALS WITH BRACES For starters the office seats are very disgusting and the restroom sink/toilet seats are filthy!! My sister and I made appointments for our kids to see if we can get our kids braces. I had one one day and she hers a different. I bring my kid to the appointment walking when we were greeted by the people working the front. The young lady with glasses that took my kiddo back was super sweet. Everything was going just fine until we were getting seen by the orthodontist. VERY RUDE. The Dr ruined the experience. When it was time for him to "talk" to us about my son's treatment he rudely just said " he will be needing braces to correct this" as he pointed at a screen. He did not explain anything to us!! Horrible place! I DO NOT recommend!! I went for routine checkups on my kids and was informed they needed to remove my son's silver molar cap. They did so and put a temporary on. I was under the impression they actually took a mold to get a permanent molar cap created. Well fast forward 3 weeks and they never completed the procedure. I was scheduled a week after the removed the cap (on Friday which the staff says is the dentist day off) well I arrive to find my appointment was canceled. I scheduled the following day and once again it was canceled. No notice was received of the cancelations. When I arrived mentioning my son's cap and that the temporary fell out they said I could find another dentist or reschedule. I was furious! I wasn't informed of the cancelations. I informed them it was unprofessional and that they could have had the courtesy to call so didn't have to waste my time. Well, they said the assistant can put on a temporary so I obliged to get my son some relief. Well the on call dentist comes into the room and begins to argue with me very aggressively telling me I never showed up on Friday (which I did) and told me I should have come in earlier on Saturday if it was an issue. I told him this is what THEY scheduled me and I didn't realize they had walk-ins. He said there was nothing they could do because they didn't have any of the equipment to do the temporary. This upset me as my 10 yr old son has an exposed tooth which causes him pain since they removed the cap and could possibly get infected. I also questioned what kind of dentist will allow a child to leave the office with an exposed cavity and not do anything to help or at least fix the issue they created. I also mentioned I would hold Smilecenter liable if anything ever did occur in the future due to their negligence. He began to argue saying he didn't do anything and left. I was in tears! The only person in the place that cared was a dental assistant who created a mold with an old silver cap and put that on a temporary. (She was a Godsent Angel) Unfortunately, the other staff there is unprofessional and rude. They don't return calls! In an emergency dental situation they DO NOT care either. So, if you are going here for emergency work or due to trouble with your teeth find a more responsive and respectful place that will actually treat you with care. read more

I am displeased with office staff. I had an appointment for dental cleaning. when they looked up my dental insurance, I was told that my insurance did not cover dental services. So I paid out of pocket for exam and xrays the rate was fair. So I called the the insurance and they said that no one had called them from the Dr. office and that I did have insurance coverage. when I tried calling the Dr. office at 4:30 I was informed they were Not receiving out side calls the office stated it closed at 6pm. Yet they told me to. Call back if I was insured. My day was so frustrating with the staff not doing their job properly. They didn't call correct insurance number. They should have called the number in the back of my card instead of telling me to do it. The staff proceeded to tell me if you do have insurance you can always file to get reimbursed once you pay us and we give you a receipt. As for your staff in the back they were great. The front staff need to learn how to do their job much better. I am a retired RN I know how an office should be managed. They don't even know how to answer the phone correctly. read more

I regret the day I took my daughter there to get here braces done. It's almost 3 years now and my daughter still has her braces on for most part of there fault. January I went there with my daughter for as usual an appointment, when I got there I was told and shown that I don't have a balance owed in which I try to tell the rep that I do have a balance. She went on to show me the screen that the balance was $0.00. Long story short I ended up did not pay in January and today I went back for a scheduled appointment and I was told I need to pay half of the balance owed. Apparently they change there system and now we are the one responsible for there error. Customer service is very poor there. read more

I paid more than a month ago for Invisalign. I should've gotten a refund for a portion of it and have not. Can't even get an amount I'm supposed to get refunded by anyone. The manager Cindy promised me to call back two weeks ago and hasn't. I've called multiple times between then and she's never there. I asked for her managers number and was not given the info. I am now suffering the consequences of going to this place. My fillings are cracked and new cavities have grown underneath. I have to get the old fillings taken out and new ones done. On top of that, upon my first visit to a new dentist they thought I hadn't had my teeth cleaned for well over a year and I informed them I have had two 6 month check ups at Smile Center with regular cleanings done. Needless to say my new dentist was not pleased with the condition of my gums. If my teeth would have been properly cleaned by SC my dentist is pretty sure my gums wouldn't be so bad. I have decent teeth and take care of them but after 2 poor visits to SC my gums are in bad shape. DO NOT GO TO SMILE CENTER. I would not recommend this facility. The waiting area was fun for my four children (a playset), however we were waiting crazy long. The staff was very nice, but I wasn't impressed by the dentist. Some of the things he said we needed to have done seemed unnecessary, which is a problem for my very frantic daughter who believes everything she's told (extraction of a baby tooth that has no pain, when her teeth seem to be doing fine growing in straight with plenty of space). My son's cleaning was cancelled (postponed, but I never went back) because time was an issue. Also, my two year old walked out with a used toothbrush (the one the doctor used to clean her teeth). My other children were empty handed. The best pediatric dentist my children ever had, had a whole storage shelf with prizes. That made the world of difference. The kids always knew they were gonna get a bag of goodies. Not even a toothbrush here for my older children. That's crazy. Even I got a toothbrush as a kid in the scary 90s dentist offices.
