I had 3 teeth pulled one had a Gold Crown, which I told DR Armand that I wanted to keep it, so after the procedure they had me sit in the lobby and when they gave me the crown it was Not the Gold crown, someone in this office stole the crown to sell it . So if you have a GOLD crown and you want to keep it, ask for it after the procedure and before you get out of the chair. read more

Just an update: I never came back. Luckily, I found a dentist that actually cared about my son. And they were out of network (funny) anyways, be careful to anyone who is considering them. Please read everything you sign and make sure you know what your insurance is covering and what they will need you to pay out of pocket because they will want you to pay it all and "reimburse what your insurance doesn't cover" I had never heard of this till I came here. As I sit in this office, still waiting after my scheduled appointment, I have to wonder if customer service is dead. The people at the top have clearly forgotten that a patients time is just as valuable as theirs. Now let's talk about the office staff.... My mother, who I manage care for, called yesterday to get information on the process for antibiotics when you have a serious tooth extraction. She was told, in a rude tone, that antibiotics are only necessary when a patient has a serious medical condition. She completely failed to empathetically address the concerns of a patient and suggest that she address with the doctor who would ultimately be prescribing. Let me be clear, this is not the first time I've waited over an hour despite having an appointment and also not the only time the waiting room has been standing room only because they don't have enough seating and the front office staff fails to address the obvious issue. You have people in their 80s standing up and you don't think something needs to change? Find another specialty dentist office because service matters and they clearly don't value the patient experience at any level. read more

The dentist is never fun. I was a hot mess and in distress at my first visit. Honestly, I'm a hot mess at some point during each of these visits. Jessica and Michael at the front desk were so patient with me on my first visit and every visit since. They're so sweet with me. Dr. Parker did my surgery. I can't believe I took time off of work to have my son's wisdom teeth removed at this business. Our appointment was at 11:00 a.m. They didn't see my son until 12:45 p.m. And now, 1 hour later they inform us that they can't perform the procedure even though we were scheduled to have it done today. This place is significantly more expensive to have wisdom teeth removed. Find somewhere else to do business with if you value your time. I love this office! Everyone is so nice and the oral surgeon removed 2 of my wisdom teeth so smoothly and quickly! I had a consultation with another oral surgeon and he made it seem like it was going to such a difficult surgery and told me I needed to be sedated for the surgery which was going to be additional $600. I had a good treatment experience, but when it came to billing & payment, Armando definitely hates his job. I was told to pay partially for treatment while waiting for insurance approval, and once the insurance would cover treatment the office would refund me. Definitely not the case, had treatment done over 6 weeks, still no refund, with a side of horrible customer service from Armando, not to mention he hung up the call while i was trying to sort it out. I was initially referred to Dr. Park at Care Endo through my general dentist, Maria Regalado, for root canal surgery. Compared to the other endodontists I've visited, this office was the best by far! The staff were all very friendly, helpful and they made me feel comfortable (music choice is top-notch too!). During my surgery, they took every precaution to make it as comfortable as possible including the protective eyewear, rubber block to keep my mouth open, and the rubber dental dam. Dr. Park is also VERY skilled at what he does so the procedures never really go much longer than an hour depending on what you're being seen for. My most recent visit was due to excruciating pain in my lower right teeth, which was easily a 10/10 on the pain scale with it being the worst pain I've ever felt. It woke me up multiple times throughout the night and it constantly put me in a bad mood. While trying to endure the pain til my appointment with Dr. Park, it reached a point where it was unbearable. He had a packed schedule, but I called explaining my situation and the staff allowed me to come in on the same day saying he could squeeze me in. Two root canals later and my pain was gone. I'll be seeing him once more for my last root canal (for now) in several days. It really goes to show you how selfless Dr. Park and the rest of his staff are-- putting the patients ahead of themselves and their busy day. I'm so thankful to have found Care Endo and Dr. Park for my root canal needs and I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing similar services! read more

I had the great "pleasure" of having to get a retreatment procedure to a root canal that I had from 1991. I was referred by my Long Beach based dentist to Care Endodontics for the procedure and I am extremely pleased with the service, and the endodontic procedure needed. The team at Care Endodontics is exceptional, from the office staff, and scheduling, to the two doctors with whom I received my treatment. I say treatments, because my original root canal was done so poorly with old technology, that it required two separate visits to complete the retreatment. My treatments were performed by both Dr. Atosa Mehfar, and Dr. Kwor Loo. Both Doctors were amazing, and you will be pleased with either. They certainly earned their keep with my retreat. They gladly accepted my insurance, and I was on my way. Special shout-out to Gabby for processing a rather large refund due back to me because my PPO insurance carrier paid a much larger amount than the estimate given to Care Endo as my estimated patient portion. My original dentist said it was either a root canal or tooth pull so I was nervous going Into the consultation here... but he said oh this is a routine root canal should take 30- 1hr and you will be on your way. I had service done in September 2020 and they sent my bill to collections and notified me via mail in 2022 without contacting my phone once which they confirmed they have on file. I never received a voicemail from them once. I called the10945 E.South cerritos office multiple times and spoke to Michael but they refused to provide me with information to resolve this issue. I chose this clinic because of its proximity from my house and I am glad that I did. The nice staff at the front desk checked me in right away. The dental assistant was kind to me and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Dr. Kwor Chieh Loo was the one who did the RCT. He's a real professional and his hands were very gentle during the procedure. I did not feel any discomfort or pain at all. I appreciate that he was able to answer all of my questions and explained everything (the problem, the procedure and the xrays) to me. My primary dental care provider gave me a list of options to be referred to for a root canal and I just happened to chose this place since I was familiar with the area. Having no prior reviews or ratings, I was a little nervous but there is a first for everything and Care Endodontics took my worries away. Growing up, my family dentist I had didn't believe in using anesthesia or very little (just a Novocaine swab at best) so I usually just clenched my fist and toughed it out. Needless to say I pretty scared s***less since this would be my first root canal. To start, the office is a room in a building full of other dental offices, it could be hard to find but you won't miss it if you head towards the second floor (201A). The receptionist was great (she is actually better than my entire primary dentist's office reception combined) and help me sort out everything with my insurance and main dental office. She made everything from the cost, procedure, appointments clear and worked with me every step of the way. The work was done at a reasonable price and immediately on my first appointment. There are also 2 really cool gentleman that were working here as the dental assistants, they were also both polite and nice guys that also made sure everything was up to par for me. Doctor Jae Hoon Lee was the D.D.S that worked on my mouth. He is a young(I think) and knowledgeable guy. He made sure from start to finish that I was comfortable and he was quite professional with his work. You can instantly tell he knows exactly what he is doing from start to finish and his subtle distractions kept my mind off of the procedure itself. The only pain from the entire procedure was the application of the anesthesia(needle) but it didn't hurt much, the rest was completely painless. The root canal took under an hour and I was able to see the before/after of the work afterwards. Following the procedure, the receptionist sent all the information to my primary dentist and I got a prescription (for pain and an infection) and was on my merry way. The reason for the -1 star was the doctor had a cold (although the procedure went perfectly fine, it made me a little nervous at first) and could have taken a few days himself. It's been a day and a half so far and everything is good. I would recommend this place. read more

First, I don't have dental insurance. I saw the great Yelp reviews and have no regrets. The price was quite fair without insurance. I came in knowing I needed a root canal and they were able to do it that day (Thank you!). My endodontist was Dr. David Hwang. He was more than wonderful! If I couldve hugged him, I would have. I told him, I've had one root canal before and it was a nightmare. For the first 15 mins, I was super nervous. He promised me he'd do his best to be painless, and explained to me what to do if there was pain and why. Dr. Hwang was informative, caring and double checked everything. I could tell he had a real passion for his work and wanted his patients to be at ease. I must say, he's also very hard working - he didn't goof around in between patients and spent his time effectively. I highly recommend seeing him. The only downside was the assistant staff didn't seem as professional as Dr. Hwang. But overall, not too bad. read more

My daughter needed a endodontist, her general doctor referred her to Downey Endodontist but they are very pricey so I searched until I found care endodontist their prices are reasonable made an appointment in less than a week. My regular dentist advised me to go to an endodontist to remove the damaged post and re-do the root canal. He also commented that the tooth may be destroyed in the process.
