If you have questions they will seek to answer them. If your child is unsure, they will talk and explain the procedure patiently. This location has a laser so that helps with recovery and avoiding numbing and child can have lunch directly afterwards, no waiting. They give your child a reusable gift bag with toothbrush and toothpaste and stuffy in it. And your child can chose a little toy each visit which helps little ones look forward to the dentist instead of fearing it. The waiting area has a play house with lots of books and toys and a regular sitting area for parents n older siblings to sit comfortably. They also have a tv in waiting room and in waiting area inside and above dental chairs so kids can be focused on a show of their choosing during the cleaning or procedure. There's several dentist at this location and they allow you to see who is available first or who you prefer. We are new so we do not have a preference but I like that they have that option.

Then she checked for pockets in my gums and pushed herself away from my chair and said I need to get them to make an estimate and left the room. She came back and said I don't think I should even do the cleaning because you're going to need so much more. I looked confused and she said she could do it if I really wanted but it would really be a waste of time in her opinion. She then asked if I wanted to look at a kids picture book about stages of dental disease. I was done!!!! I didn't know what to say so I started to laugh partly to keep from crying and she asked me what I was laughing at. I said you know what- I'm done. I unclipped the bib and walked out. While sitting in my car trying to compose myself before driving home- the manager followed me out to ask what happened. I explained everything and mentioned I kinda have a fear of the dentist so this made it all so much worse. She told me the hygienist was newer and recommended I book an appointment with a more experienced hygienist. But this meant more waiting and talking time off work. Honestly it never happened. He was kind, very patient, and even made us laugh while explaining thoroughly what he could see needed to be done, all at a very fair price for the service, expertise and great treatment that were apparent that we were going to get. Over a period of the 10 years, we dealt with the good people at Dr. Roncone's office. They ALWAYS welcomed us with a smile, and had everything ready & waiting for us each and every time we went. He only hires top notch, extremely well trained registered dental assistants to work on his patients, and everyone of his front desk and full staff were always sharp, professional yet warm and personable. His son, though a fine orthodontist himself, has his own practice in Fallbrook and has not practiced with his father since I have been going there. Shortly after my oldest daughter got her braces off, she was involved in a horrendous accident which bashed in the whole left side of her beautiful face and caused several teeth to abscess severely. We made ONE phone call to Dr. Roncone's emergency number from the hospital (it was around 2am ) and he returned the call immediately instructing us what we should do. As soon as she was released, he instructed me to bring her in, did full panoramic xrays, and quickly began to repair what he could. All at NO EXTRA CHARGE! He felt terrible for what had happened to her and refused to take anything for his services. He also called Dr. Buss to help us by wiring her jaw and saving the teeth so they would heal and he could bring them back correctly on the jaw. My daughter's smile has been fully restored and I will be forever grateful to him and his amazing staff there at Roncone Orthodontics. I have nothing but full respect for Dr. Roncone. I will continue to recommended him to EVERYONE I ever speak to. He IS the Best and there is NO ONE else that even comes close.
