I highly recommend this place for your smog check! I came in on March 8, 2022 and I can honestly say that this is the best experience I've ever had when I had to get my car smog checked! They got me in for an appointment very easily! When I came, the guy did it so fast! Which was especially helpful since I had my 6 year old with me. The lady working the desk was very nice and I was very grateful for the whole experience! They have a cute little waiting room for us to wait and it only took just a few minutes! When I called the receptionist was really nice and she made an appt for my smog check. When I arrived they got me in right away at the appointed time. It only took about 15 mins. Hands down the best place in Vacaville to get a smog check. Lord knows we all dread opening up mail from the DMV and seeing the smog check requirement show up on your registration renewal. The Smog Connection made everything easy when we had to get a couple of our cars checked out earlier this year. First off this smog test establishment got me in same day at a great time. I have been here before (2 yrs. prior) and my experience was the same. The gentleman who helped me was friendly, attentive, got me in and out quickly, and very reasonably priced. If your looking for an honest, friendly, and fairly priced smog shop this should be where you go because you will not be sorry. A few pointers: wear a mask as you can wait in the lobby while your car is being tested, make an appointment, have your car registration slip or insurance card ready, dont come if your check engine light is on (it wont pass), they send your passed smog information directly to DMV. The front desk woman was very friendly and helpful by telling me the different papers I would need to bring to my insurance when getting my new tags. Called this morning to get a price check on smogging my car, Lady was nice when answering the phone she said they had a special going on 48.00 with cert to smog my 2014 car. Didn't like the price so called another shop superior smog guy was nice said it's 45.00 the door including cert and they have a senior discount and a military discount, with my military discount it's 40.00 out the door including cert. senior discount it's 25.00 out the door Including cert the guy said most seniors are on a very fixed income and his business is all about helping out his community! Def not going to smog connection I'm heading to superior smog now where it's cheaper and no wait or appointment needed ! They gave me wonderful instructions on where to park and what to do if they weren't back from lunch yet. They came back right when expected. They assisted me immediately. They told me the price and explained each line item. They asked for my DMV paperwork. The gentleman promised it would be quick. He wasn't kidding! It was minutes.
