I only have had one problem and it was a bad gas cap. Timm used a cap he had, told me I had to replace mine, and my car passed with flying colors. His price is reasonable and I am usually in and out of his shop in under 30 minutes. My only complaint is that he is a SF FOURTY NINERS fan. Being a RABID & DIEHARD GREEN BAY PACKER fan, you can see the problem! Thank you Timm for taking care of my car for the last 20 years. Thankfully, the next appt was already there, so we were able to basically switch spots (them taking the current time that had been mine and me taking theirs). The woman in the office was so helpful and kind about it! I got there before the updated appt time while the vehicle before me was finishing up testing, and we were in and out like a flash after that! Very friendly, fast flexible service, and great pricing. All in all, as painless an experience as smog checks can be, would recommend!

One of them walked me to the main office and waiting area. I paid for the smog service in less than 3 mins. I was asked to wait in the waiting area until the Smog was finished. The waiting area is very cute with all the decor and model cars. There is also a restroom available in the waiting area. The entire process took less than 20 minutes. Also, asked if a couple more things could be checked out, he said 'no tech available' so that was the end of that. Very stark difference from my Jiffy Lube experience last year where the guys couldn't have been nicer. Friendliest business I had been to in a while. These guys could learn a thing or two from them.

The other young lady there (I feel so bad I haven't learned names yet), well she is so friendly too! When you are at this particular speedee oil you forget you're at a franchise store because it seems soooooo mom and pops like. What I mean is, you get the genuine care of a place that has quality service, backed by a familiar franchise name, but stands out from ALL speedee oils I have ever been to. As a newish resident of Davis my ambition is to have my doctor, my care place, my go to places in one location. It's a privilege to be able to now how a car place that not only do I feel safe and confident to go to, I aim to get to know each persons name. The mechanics are all authentic and kind, the owner is beyond thoughtful. Not to be sexist but it is reassuring in a way to see two women there running the show. I'm fully aware that I'm prissy and grew up in a way that was always a matter of "pay" to fix car trouble. I don't know a carburetor from a Chrysler ha ha. Well I do, but the point is, I never feel swindled, they are honest, and treat each person like a valued customer. The mechanic who did my intake seemed genuinely surprised I remembered him telling me about my tires from my last oil change and that I came back when I said I would. This is my place and will be for as long as they will have me. I highly recommend going, they are very efficient, and there is a sense of security that you are being taken care of.

Called to make sure that walk ins were okay that day, which they were. It's located in a little industrial area. The worker greeted me to confirm I was in the right place. Invited me in to wait until it was my car's turn. The waiting room is modest, and has maybe 6 or so chairs. There were only 2 of us waiting at a time while I was there. Didn't take more than 10 minutes until it was my turn. Gave him my registration notice, filled out simple paperwork, paid about $58. Waited a couple of more minutes for my car to be tested. He showed me the results paper, said it was sent directly to the DMV, handed my keys back and I was on my way. Great in and out process, highly recommend.

Which was very confusing considering i drove in from the bay and my car has been working completely fine. They told me that they don't have the battery my car needs but they can order one. They said it'll be 290 plus 20 for service. I told them i don't have that and can you please check again. I spoke to three different people and it took a third to actually check it for me. After someone finally checked it for me, my SOC was 97% and my SOH was 57%. They shrugged it off and sent me on my way. I usually come to this place because i always felt respected and looked out for but that's no longer the case. Women who decide to go in here alone - be wary. Times are especially hard right now too for everyone and money is tight. Don't give your business to people you clearly can't trust.

I had a great experience at Superior Smog Check station. Mr. Jamil was professional and efficient. He got the smog check done quickly without any hassle. I was in and out in no time, which I really appreciated. The customer service was excellent. He was friendly, helpful, and very clear about the process. Smog check is also very reasonably priced, was able to smog my 1996 crown vic for under a hundred bucks which is a win in my book. Will definitely be coming back here again.
