We had one app (tuna poke nachos if you must know) that were very good, but everything else was sort of mid. The ideas are good...execution comes across a bit flaccid. No bold flavors, only bold ideas. Draft beer selection was definitely good. Mixed drinks tasted fresh (no sour mix etc) and the ambience was welcoming and chill. Staff were all nice. Place seemed clean. Flavor Score: 3 Experience Overall : 4

Our server, Dawn, was easily one best servers I've had in a long time. Knowledgeable about the menu, made a point to explain everything and no questions were too obscure. We had a variety of dishes, and out of everything the pork schnitzel wasn't really a schnitzel if you've ever had one in Germany, it was more like a breaded, fried bone-in pork chop, really good but not a traditional schnitzel. The asparagus, the risotto, the pasta, the chicken were all absolutely superior. The stars were the appetizers, especially the kung pao fried Brussels, those are a meal by themselves, some of the best I've ever had! The fried burrata cheese, worth the drive to Wake Forest. Their Cherry cobbler one word: YUM! The Farm Table is a roomy restaurant with tables well suited for family style dining and while a bit loud, certainly not uncomfortably so Totally recommended and thank me later for those Brussel Sprouts!

The lady behind the counter was very helpful and kind. When my son said the lemonade wasn't sweet enough she added some more simple syrup to sweeten it. I got the pimento grilled cheese and dill potato salad. It was all delicious and I'm patiently waiting for a chance to go back. It was amazing. They've moved and merged with page 158 so it's a quaint little space and a book club was going on in the space. It quickly got busy. But definitely worth checking out.

Ordering is done at the counter and they do have a grab and go section on the side. I thought the Harvest Salad sounded appealing not realizing it would not be made fresh and I had to take it from the grab and go refrigerator. I'm not sure when it was made and I likely should have ordered something else when I was told to get it out of the grab and go. Service has improved since my previous visit although nothing had to be brought out to me, the ordering and paying was friendly. The salad came in two sizes and I went with the larger one. Having similar salads elsewhere I was expecting more toppings than there was and would have liked more salad dressing and I don't use much. I wouldn't get a salad from Lemon Tree but I would return for other menu items as long as they aren't pre-made.

We have been here twice in the past two weeks to say our goodbyes to friends as we are moving out of state. We will truly miss Norse Brewery. You really cannot go wrong with anything you order. Our favorite dish is, of course, the Viking Burger paired with duck fat fries and the Frikadellar to share. The Mango Hefeweizen and mango margaritas are delicious drinks as well. Whether you sit inside or out, you will feel cozy and relaxed while you eat delicious food!

The Norwegian-inspired menu is full of hearty and flavorful items. Our opener of Loaded Beer-Cheese Tots paired with a couple of co-owner/Brewmaster Brad Wynn's brewed on-site beers was heavenly. You MUST sample several of his creations, and take a moment to see the incredible brewery that is a huge part of the experience - his wife Lynn gave us a quick and amazing tour of the brewery, see pics. I had the Viking Burger, a carnivorian delight made from elk, bison, boar and wagyu meats and a half Norwegian salad that had us swooning with pleasure - a full salad would be a satisfying main vegetarian entree. Paul's Wisconsin Brat was so good, gonna hafta to have that during our next visit. The award-winning structure is a joy - 2 levels, dog-welcoming al fresco dining available front and back - and the downstairs bar where regular events occur - just amazing! Regular events include Thursday Night Trivia, as well as stand-up comedy and murder mystery nights. An ongoing calendar of events that are easy on the pocket, making a full night of food and fun for all. Check their website - wakeforest.norsebrewingco.com - for all the details. Another downtown Wake Forest must for locals and travelers alike - Paul and I will be regulars, I can tell you that! Check it out some weeknight, you'll be glad you did‼

The sports bar is divided into two sections: a dining room with tables and booths, and a bar with high-top seating. The restaurant was fairly quiet until the karaoke was about to start. Then it seemed like you needed to scream to hear a conversation. They also have trivia nights, so that likely isn't as loud. I ordered the Wagyu Burger, and it was cooked to order and delicious. The mashed potatoes for the side were lukewarm and rather dry and bland. The way they were presented at the table made it seem as if they were meant to go with something, like butter or gravy. I would not recommend the mashed potatoes, but the burger was delicious. The sweet potato fries, another had as a side, looked good, as did a salad. Service seemed good at first with the drink and food orders. But once the food was brought out, I don't think we saw the waitress again until it was time for the checks. A bill with a credit card for another guest at a different table was even brought out with the processed checks. So make sure you get the correct credit card back.
