We tried the egg salad, chicken salad, the viral hot cocoa with the peppermint marshmallow, plus a few bakery treats because obviously we have no self-control. That cocoa??? Unreasonably good. Like I'd go back just for that. They had kid sizes too, which is a major plus. They've got patio seating, which is always a yes, and the staff was super friendly even while moving at full-speed. It's a bit cramped inside, but everything about it is gorgeous. A quaint, charming tea room. My ONLY complaint and this is truly nit-picky is that I wish my biscuit had been warmed up. We were walking around downtown Franklin, and if I walk by a bakery,, I am going to go in and "look" (and look usually means I am gonna get something "for later". I LOVE a good bakery and I am kinda spoiled by over 30 years in San Francisco, where there is a great one every few blocks. I just found all the photos on my phone and realized I had not reviewed this place from last month's mini vacation. And honestly I know we got like 4 things for 4 of us to take home and snack on for the next day or so, but I don;t recall all the things we got EXCEPT for the white almond frosted cake(slice, but in a round shape). Everyone agree it was the one to beat, and not to take the crown, but it was the one that I chose. I've walked into this place a few times and each time always greeted and welcomed! Staff is great and helpful! Stopped in during the holiday season and it was busy! This is such a cute addition to this town! We did not come for tea service, but rather for the opportunity to sample some of their sweet and savory pastries. We tried the peanut butter bomb, the pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting, the vegetarian quiche, and a sampler of their tea cakes. My favorite item was the pumpkin cake! It was so moist and not too sweet, which was balanced out with the thick frosting. I would probably skip the tea cakes because they were premade and the bread was on the dry side. I did appreciate that they asked if we wanted our quiche warmed up which we took advantage of. The iced tea was also nice and refreshing for a hot day. read more

I had one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had at Triple Crown Bakery. It was perfection! And such cute presentation. The bakery is adorable and delicious. Love! As you already know from the pics, this is in a small house. When you walk in, the bakery case is right in front of you. It's a very small space by the door where you wait. Don't be overwhelmed by the line because it moves fast, and it looks worse than it is since the space is so small. We met people in line who had already been there once that day and were back for seconds. They have a variety of things and they cycle through new things throughout the day. They even have several gluten free options and several coffee, tea, or hot chocolate drinks. I opted for the fruit tea, and it was nice. Sweet tea but not too sweat. We also got the s'mores tart, coconut custard cake, double chocolate cookie and an oatmeal cookie. The biscuits looked great. Ugh I regret not getting one. Everything was wonderful. The coconut custard cake was my fav. I didn't care for the whipped cream on top only because I don't like whipped cream. But after ditching that mmmmm the cake was so light and coconutty. It's a 10 for me. The s'mores tart was stellar and served on a graham cracker crust that was chunky and yummy. Both cookies were nice and chewy. There are beautiful dainty gift items for sale - like Harney & Sons tea blends, mugs, novels by Jane Austen and Charlotte Brontë, and more. It's a tight little shop in a beautiful old home, with cute indoor and outdoors seating areas. We got our items to go bc we were full from lunch still. The service was kind and attentive as we made our choices from the many delectable options. Enough to share, which is good when you're with others but, imo, they're too big for one since baked goods can get stale pretty quickly. First time visitor. Why so long?.... I have no idea. I've heard great things for years but today was the day. They have a great location in a cute house just off Main Street in Downtown Franklin. Parking is "Franklin parking" but if you are good to walk, there are lots of spaces many of them without charge. Staff was very pleasant and efficiently getting customers through the checkout counter. I picked a couple of mini quiche and a couple of muffins to bring home. The quiche were very good, nice flaky crust, good flavor without being overly greasy. We sampled the Tomato/Goat cheese and the bacon. Both are items I would order again. Got the morning glory muffin and it was really good, large and chock full of nuts, raisins and goodness. Pretty filling though so yes, you could split it especially if you are having anything else. i love going to this place. it's one of mine and my roommates favorite bakeries in the area! we went on the 4th and all their fourth of july themed desserts were soooo cute. my roommate had some berry macaroons and she said they were really good. i had a chicken salad sandwich and i loved it. if you like a sweeter chicken salad you'll really enjoy it! it had dried cranberries and i think pecans in it which was tasty. coming from someone who usually prefers a more savory chicken salad, i still really recommend theirs! the service was also super nice and and the girls working were just adorable! they handled the busy holiday crowds like champs!! read more

It's a darling historic home, renovated with a decidedly British accent and perfect for high tea. There's a dining room or you can walk up to the case and take your treats to go. The butterfly tea lemonade was as delicious as it was beautiful. Im a sucker for that purple ombre aesthetic, but it wasn't overly sweet. My niece and I enjoyed it after a walk around the historic Franklin Square. But she and I have a sweet tooth, so we went back for the pastries and cake. She chose the hostess style chocolate cake and went straight to the cream filled center. It was the way you wished those store bought snack cakes taste. I chose the homemade pop-tart and sliced a piece off for the next few days. It was as good the first day as the last. These folks know their pastries. Our top choices were the sausage scone for savory and the cinnamon bun croissant for sweet.
