I LEFT FEELING HURT, DISRESPECTED, AND UNVALUED... I was a patient of Dr. Bokhari for over 2 years…read moreand 8 months and a member of this clinic for 2 years, paying $150 every month. During that time, I spent well over $8,000 on treatments and referred many friends and family because I truly believed in this practice. I even drive over 40 minutes to get to this clinic because I believed Dr. Bokhari was kind, skilled, and worth the time, gas, and long drive. Even after an incident last year, when I spent over $3,000 on fillers and Botox in a single session and was not given clear instructions on how to use the nitrous oxide, causing me to inhale too much and experience a frightening hallucination that left me feeling unwell for the rest of the day and even the following day, I continued coming back because I trusted this clinic. Over the last two months, I had to return to the office four different times because my Botox results were not what I had consistently received in the past. During those visits, I spent approximately $1,000. At my most recent follow-up appointment, I simply wanted to understand why my results were different and why I kept needing additional Botox to achieve results that had previously been obtained without these issues. Instead of having a conversation, Dr. Bokhari responded in a way that completely shocked me. He told me: "If you go to Kentucky and order chicken, you have to pay for it." "You have to pay for the units I injected." "There are no free lunches here." "If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else." This was said to me in front of his assistant, the doctor he is training, and my husband, so I am 100% certain that I heard and understood exactly what he said. I explained that I was not refusing to pay. I simply wanted to understand why I kept needing additional visits and additional Botox to obtain results that had previously been achieved without these issues. Despite that, the conversation continued in the same tone. I left that appointment feeling deeply hurt. Personally, I felt discriminated against and treated as if I were someone trying to get something for free, despite being a loyal patient for nearly three years who had always paid for every treatment. Most of all, I felt that I was not a valued patient. At the time, I still had $500 remaining in my membership account. After charging me for that Botox touch-up, the clinic agreed to refund the remaining balance, and I immediately canceled my membership. I had already had a negative experience at this clinic during a Black Friday promotion. I thought I had prepaid for my usual Botox treatment, but when I arrived, I was told I needed to pay more. When I asked for an explanation, I felt I was treated in a dismissive and condescending way, which led me to write a negative review. I later removed that review after Dr. Bokhari personally spoke with me, because at the time I believed the issue had mainly been with the staff. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, my perspective has changed. P.S. For context, I am 30 years old and don't have significant forehead wrinkles. I get Botox because I prefer not to have visible forehead lines. I was also not satisfied with the lip filler I received in March 2025. It appeared to me that some of the filler had migrated, and when I asked Dr. Bokhari about it, he told me it would dissolve over time. However, I can still see some small lumps around my lips today. After that experience and the incident with the nitrous oxide, I decided not to get fillers there again. I've attached photos to this review showing how my lips currently look. I never imagined that after years of loyalty, my relationship with this clinic would end this way. I sincerely hope no other patient leaves feeling as hurt and undervalued as I did. I hope my experience helps others. UPDATE: I have read the clinic's response. I understand that they disagree with my perspective and that they cannot publicly discuss my medical information. I am simply sharing my own experience as a patient, including what I personally paid, what was said to me, and how I felt during these interactions. I stand by my account of my experience.

Shortly after walking through the door, things took a turn. I was given the intake form which I completed. Then I was told, I had to pay before my services were even started. The woman at the front told me she would "maybe be leaving early" because she had "stuff to do." She said you normally pay after but I would be paying before. Worst case scenario, I was racially profiled and made to pay early. Less worst case scenario, I was still treated differently than normal and as a first time guest. I wasn't offered any refreshments or anything. I stuck it out because my boyfriend put thought into it, but the experience was ruined before it even started for me. I hoped the massage would make up for it...it didn't. My door was left open which is weird considering I had no clothes on and the massage was just alright. Once completed, the masseuse left the room with my door open again for me to have to get up nearly naked to close it so I could get dressed. I turned on the lights to see the satin pillow topper that was removed once I turned from lying on my stomach to my back during the massage was on the floor. I'll include a picture of what I saw and was lying on. I quickly got dressed and made my way to the exit where a choir of employees started the "excuse me, excuse me!" chant as if I was running out without paying. If you're going to make me pay ahead of time, communicate that to others so I'm not accosted while trying to leave. All and all, I won't be coming back and I don't know how they have good reviews.

My everyday decisions usually revolve around choices that involve food. When going out to chill with a friend or friends to go eat, drink or perhaps walk around, I never imagined myself walking into a spa to get a facial. Well, it happened and my thought process was "how bad would it be to have cucumber slices on my eyes?". There was no cucumbers, however, I was greatly impressed with Else Widjaja, the skin care specialist or esthetician remarkable skills in taking care of my skin. I do suffer from dry skin, which I thought was normal and occasionally breakout in rashes which is attributed to my mild eczema. Else took proper care and was very informative while she was applying her trade skills. The environment was very relaxing and tranquil. Greatness in services is found at this spa. Lora and Corrine did a wonderful job giving me a massage and giving advice. It is rare to have massage therapists specialize in ashiantsu. Dawn also did a wonderful job giving a facial and giving advice. It is a pleasure and a delight to see her when I enter the spa. April did a good job giving me a pedicure. Rosa gave me a massage at an event. She did a nice job too. All of the ladies are intelligent, and they made me feel comfortable. They were professional, polite, courteous, respectful, and above all very caring. The ladies also have good communication skills. I find that to be important when we need to communicate our needs with each other. I hope they continue to do a wonderful job at their spa and stay for as long as they would like to. Else your explanation of events and the conversation we had in your business are very very distorted to say the least. I would never ever recommend your business nor patron there ever again based upon what happened and then to top it off with your extremely distorted versions of what happened. The experience we had there is not by any means an isolated incident as I have found. of course we wouldn't be the only ones that had an experience like this. i had a very disappointing experience with my 60-minute massage. i have had many massages over the…read moreyears, including in different countries, so i understand that every massage therapist has a different style. however, this was the worst massage experience i have ever had. the session did not feel smooth, intentional, or relaxing. there were many pauses throughout the massage, and it felt like the therapist was unsure of what to do next. instead of being able to relax and let go, i felt uncomfortable and distracted the entire time. i kept waiting for the massage to improve, but it never really did. i later found out that the massage therapist is new, and i do understand that everyone has to begin somewhere. i do not want to be unkind, but i also want to be honest. in my opinion, she is not ready to work independently with paying customers yet. a massage involves trust, comfort, and the customer's money, and this experience did not feel professional or worth the cost. i left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and regretful that i did not get her name before leaving. i was hoping to leave refreshed and relaxed, but instead i left feeling like i had wasted both my time and money. i truly hope she receives more training and support before being assigned to clients on her own.
