Received a 80 min massage during my most recent vacation. Met expectations and was relaxing. There is a quiet reading area with books and magazines. Sauna was not in service during my visit. No other special perks in the spa.

    Post-treatment glow.

We booked with the spa at Koloa Landing (where we also stayed) despite some negative reviews about limited, and/or non-functional amenities at the spa, and left feeling satisfied and relaxed! This is not a spa where you go receive a treatment and have quiet spas or pools to hangout in afterwards, but it has the basics needed for a treatment (gendered changing area with locker rooms, robes, slippers, combs, complimentary feminine hygiene products, drinking water, and shower). Having read the other reviews, I went into the experience knowing this, which allowed me enjoy the experience for what it was. We made sure to hit up the Holoholo grill beforehand for some champagne flutes for some extra relaxation! (Maybe this is something they could consider offering on site at the spa to upgrade the experience?) My boyfriend and I enjoyed the 90 minute couple's massage with hot stones, and a head scrub (that also doubled as a leave-in conditioning treatment that you didn't shampoo out/just rinsed out following the treatment). My boyfriend had Ilona as his masseuse, and I had Tony as my masseur - they were both professional and our massages were excellent! They also have a store on site that features some of the lotions/treatments used during your massage or other treatment for purchase - it was a little too expensive for my personal taste, especially after paying about 500 plus tip for our couple's massage! All in all, we enjoyed the experience, and the convenience of being able to book with a spa located at our hotel. We would book with them again!

The facilities were clean, relaxing, and provided the perfect environment to unwind. We also had a massage, and it was absolutely amazing. The therapist relieved all of the tension in my neck, and afterward I felt like a completely new person. It was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences I've had. The snacks were also delicious and a thoughtful touch that made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning.

The spa area itself is small, but very relaxing. The women's area has locked rooms, outdoor rain showers (all with privacy curtains), 3 more accessible showers with doors/curtains, a steam room, sauna, and hot tub. All the bathroom amenities were provided including hair dryers, curlers, and straighteners, moisturizers, deodorant, and even SPF. I was also given slippers and a robe. Unlimited towels are available as well as scented cold towels to use after the saunas. There is also a tea bar, iced lemon water, iced tea, and snacks (almonds and a fruity trail mix). Food is available for purchase (with some hidden fees) and you are not allowed to bring in outside food. However, the spa pass does allow for in and out privileges so you could leave for food. The common area consists of some tables, a warmed lap pool, and 2 very hot jacuzzis with some loungers. We appreciated that most of the loungers were under the building's overhang which provided shade while sitting outside. There are also a few "wellness" books provided to read while lounging. Officially, the spa is supposed to be cell phone free, but this was not enforced. Complementary parking for the day was included in the pass, so we were able to explore the grounds of the hotel which were stunning and access the beach side walking path through the hotel. Just make sure to get your parking pass validated! I would highly recommend this experience, particularly if you want to decompress, shower, and change before a late flight.

We were collected from the lobby and led to the front of the hotel where there was a canvas cabana set up. Loud waves crashing... exactly what you're imagining right now! Our two techs sat with us as we chose our massage goals, scents, etc, and then we were led into the bungalow. After we got into our birthday suits, the techs returned and took down the canvas walls so that it felt like we were almost in the water. At one point a fine rain started and it was like being blessed from the sky as we were being rubbed into oblivion. The ONLY thing I didn't love is that when it was time to do that awkward flip that you can barely manage on a massage table because you're halfway unconscious and the therapist is holding the sheet out of the way so that you can make that awkward move, it did seem like the people in the rooms along the side of the hotel could've seen directly into the bungalow from that angle. I mean, if they're going to be nosy like that, then they see what they see, but for a split second it did impact the state of relaxation that I was in. But that's literally the only thing. After, we spent close to two hours floating in the ocean at the resort-adjacent beach, had no trouble getting towels from the attendant, then soaked in the pool, the hot tub, and then got ready for dinner at Red Salt. There were no pool-level bathrooms to change in, but we managed just fine in the ladies room in the lobby. I didn't look at the bill because I was on another planet but that seems like it proved that it was worth it!
