I've had better massages for half the price. Where there's a nice hot neck wrap, foot massage, hand massage, full neck massage. But I didn't get any of that. The facial was relaxing, but do not get a lash tint. I had dye under my eyes that I was told to clean off myself. Not sure why the esthetician didn't put anything under my eyes to protect my skin from the dye. They also only dyed the top lashes, not the bottom. So weird. All in all I was underwhelmed for the price. I would never go here again because I didn't leave feeling rejuvenated at all. It's just not worth the price. Go somewhere else.

Lunch is not included with the service, although the website makes it seem as if it is since it shows a limited lunch menu. Also, there wasn't any hot water for the shower. I'm not saying the service was bad, but for the price you pay, you should get more.

Speaking of sweetening the deal, the hotel was offering a $100 off special on the 80 minute massage, bringing the price down to earth. The staff at the Front Desk was very friendly and offered a nice tour of the facilities. Unfortunately the locker rooms and steam shower were unavailable (and disappointing) for this visit, but the treatment room is plenty large and comfortable for changing before your service. I hung out in the Fireside Lounge area until Cosette was ready for me. She was fantastic! I carry a lot of tension and soreness in my neck and shoulders and she did a great job of working them out over the course of the 80 minutes. All around a great experience. Really the only complaint I have is not being able to book the massage with the discount through the website. In this age of constant conference calls, it would have been nice to take care of this electronically.

I felt my left side didn't get as much attention as my right side. There was a tub there but not for use at all for couples massage. At Grand America there isn't a tub but you and your guest get to shower under 16 shower heads for a few minutes before doing the massage. The Remede spa has a lot more light snacks (nuts, fruit bars, chocolate bites) water, and other niceties than at Grand America. Spa attendants were wonderful but if you're going to drop some serious cash for luxury spa massage, I'd go to Grand America instead and while still expensive, not as expensive as Remede for the massage experience. Remede offers 50, and 80 minutes. Grand America offers 50, 80 and 2 hours for couples massage. Something to consider if you're considering couples massage.

Now for the massage, I had Rob and the experience was probably top 3 massages I've ever had. It was literally massage THERAPY. During the massage he was gentle when needed and firm in tight places too, but never ever painful. I could literally feel pent up tension and trauma leave my body as he worked on me.
