    Dinner from spaghetti shack

Not a big deal. Was hoping for some good spaghetti and meat sauce . I ordered extra garlic bread. The one with the meal wasn't delivered and the one piece ordered was hard and the sauce was with very little meat. I'll keep trying with other chi

This place is located on NW corner of Rural and Guadalupe. It is small and mainly for takeout. It has a fairly small menu (see photo). The food and garlic bread are very good and it is excellent carb loading prior to cross country or track meets. Friendly people and they also have sweet treat rice krispy bars which are hard to find. Good spaghetti option.

I came on Meatball Monday! It is BOGO Meatballs w/purchase of any size Bowl. I ordered the Small Shack! There was enough for me to eat for 2 days! The small is a very good sized serving! The restaurant is mostly for Takeout, but there's a counter area with a few stools for those who choose to eat in .

Wanted to order something a little different for a night. Honestly not bad for a fast food spaghetti spot. We had the mid shack to share for 2 people which actually gave us 2 meals each. It's a nice heavy bucket filled with pasta, but the sauce to pasta ratio is lacking. There was sauce on the bottom of the bucket and on the top, but the spaghetti was all dry in the middle. It comes with 2 pieces of garlic bread. The bread was yummy but honestly you can't go wrong with buttered bread. Personally I couldn't taste any garlic flavor at all though, ehh a bit disappointing. We also paired our bucket with 4 meatballs. I thought they were good, but a bit too dense and heavy for my wife. I would get them again though, they did the trick. Overall 4 stars from me, it was a good meal.

The Spaghetti Shack is the place to go to for a quick spaghetti fix. My husband and I absolutely loved the Meatball Sub, I've gotta say. The service is quick and friendly! This place has such a cute feel to it as well. It is picnic themed! Prices are super reasonable too. Highly recommend getting a Small Shack if you're the only one needing a spaghetti fix. It comes with two meatballs included, but you can add another one or two for around $1.50 more per Meatball. Not too shabby!!

Spaghetti by the bucket; great concept! Bf and I shared the mid-shack (1 lb!!) which feeds 2 for $11.95. Meatballs are a la carte; we added 4 for $1.50/each. We honestly could have done 2 or 3 meatballs; the meatballs are 2oz (think golf ball size) each! This brought our total to $17.95, pre-tax and pre-tip. Not bad considering it came with garlic bread. Ordering a bowl from Noodle Co. or any other restaurant would easily be $11.95+ alone! It was good, simple spaghetti that'll satisfy your craving!

Sometimes when I am looking for something to eat, all I want is a short simple menu to order from. I grew up on spaghetti and meatballs in my family. The Spaghetti Shack is all about spaghetti and serves it in a bucket to go. It doesn't get any simpler than that. You have three bucket sizes to choose from (which includes garlic bread) - Small Shack (1/2 lb. - feeds 1), Mid Shack (1 lb. - feeds 2), and Full Shack (1 1/2 lb. - feeds 4-5). Meatballs are extra and are $1.50 each. Trust me, you want the meatballs. They are so good! The customer service here is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Spaghetti Shack has a few weekday specials that includes a buy one, get one free meatball on Mondays. Also on their menu is a meatball sub and a couple dessert items. If you love pasta and not in the mood to cook or do dishes, make your life easy and order a bucket of pasta to go!

We were curious about this little eatery that opened up since their claim to fame is spaghetti in a bucket. I suppose we have fried chicken and popcorn in a bucket so sure, why not pasta. After seeing they had "The Big Game" deal going on this Sunday I figured that was the perfect time to try! Side note: Tbd if competitor By The Bucket offered a Superb Owl deal. The deal included their "full shack" for $10 and meatballs for $1 each. The full shack is 1.5 lbs of spaghetti with sauce, and a half loaf of garlic bread. We opted for 3 meatballs which were placed in the bucket on top of the pasta. Everything was very securely wrapped and we took this mighty meal to a local park for a pasta picnic! Overall it was a carbtastic meal. The spaghetti was plentiful as was the full flavored sauce. The meatballs were well seasoned, very soft and tender. It was a good deal since we got $4.50 off the pasta and $.50 off each meatball. The garlic bread was good. The bread was crusty with a soft inner crumb. It was well buttered. I'd love to see them expand in a more Fazoli's-like fashion offering other pastabilities such as ziti or lasagna but for now spaghetti in a bucket is a quick, cheap and tasty meal if you don't feel like cooking!

I'm so glad this opened near our house!! When life is busy (kids in sports, parents who work and coach and are active in other things) sometimes you need an easy meal! Is it hard to make pasta and sauce? - no, but sometimes it's nice to not create more dishes or take the time when you can grab and go. The sauce is flavorful, the bread is soft and buttery and the meatballs have the perfect amount of flavor! I'm sure this will be a go to spot for us on those busy weeknights when we are pushed for time and don't want to eat at 10pm! The staff were super friendly and helpful! My wife has an allergy and they let her try a sample and even offered to make a fresh batch of sauce if needed. Fortunately the sauce works for her as is but they were so willing to go above and beyond!

It must be the same interior designer because even though the restaurants are so different, they have a similar feel, and I like it! The enormous wine bottle light fixtures are pretty cool. Hubby ordered rigatoni with Bolognese and steak meatballs. I didn't taste it, but he really liked it. My son ordered Caccio e Pepe pappardelle. I tasted it and it was very yummy. I had the meatball ferris wheel which is literally a little ferris wheel with little bowls with a different kind of meatball in each. The Ferris wheel ended up just making it harder to eat, but I do think the novelty of it is cute. That said, I was super disappointed. I liked the steak meatball pretty well and the arabbiata was yummy, but the rest were mediocre for me. I love meatballs but, honestly, I've had meatballs that I like better elsewhere. My bread was also over-toasted, making it kind of like a hard crumbly rock. Our server was very nice and quite friendly, but both my husband and I noticed that she actually boxed the food at the two tables near us for those people, but for us, just just dropped off boxes and a bag at our table and left us to do it ourselves. I don't mind doing it myself, but what made us different from the other tables? All in all it was good. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked and sooo good and the Saganaki was also delish. The meatballs, not so much for me.
