Oh my goodness, that chicken parmigiana was absolutely stunning! The sauce was total perfection and the chicken and cheese were cooked so beautifully too. You also get SOO much pasta. I was literally shocked by how heavy the bag was when he handed it to me. The garlic bread was also amazing and the quality of the bread was just so good too. I had no idea this restaurant was hidden back there. I am at that Goodwill thrifting all the time and I am obsessed with the fact that I finally found this place. First off there is not much indoor seating so come prepared that it's best for takeout. There are benches to wait on once your order is placed. The menu boards are well explained. Many options of either build your own or house specialties. Love the spin on some of the items like Meatball Minnow, Great White Cheesy Bread and Megalodon Meat Sauce Special to name a few! Customer service was very inviting, friendly and helpful in choosing meals. Dessert case has many delicious choices! Portion sizes are generous which is always a plus! I frequent the Pecan Plaza often for a few regular stores and local food spots, and this Italian carryout spot is tucked in the southwest corner of the plaza, around the corner from Home Depot & Goodwill. If you can place your order ahead of time so it's ready when you arrive. If not, expect about a 10-minute wait as it's run by the 2 owners, who do a great job keeping things moving. Aaron and James are great and they have something special here. , We've been here several times and like the variety they have with the menu so it's always about mixing it up. Our go-to items are the Spaghetti Shipwreck, which is a combination of pasta, sausage, meatballs, and Alfredo, along with marinara sauce. It's really good and I have to admit, they get the noodles right. You can taste the difference. They've recently added an arcade system full of vintage games which is a fun way to kill time while waiting on your order and they have a nice selection of individual desserts. We recently came in to place a catering order before the holidays and went with the half-and-half trays and got two of them along with the garlic bread. I'm so surprised that I never heard of this place until my husband looked up "pasta" within 5 miles radius of our house. I was 15 minutes away from hangry and thank goodness we found this place! The online ordering was easy to navigate. The pick up process was easy. The owner was the one who helped me. The store might have a few chairs and a table, but it's meant to be a grab and go place. Love the brightness of the store and the beach theme! The portion size was large. I had leftover even I was very hungry. It's for take out, not an ear it there place. The owner/operator was really friendly and the food was ready quickly. My wife and I wanted to sample multiple things so we got the pasta with both marinara and Alfredo packaged separately, meatballs and garlic bread. Both sauces were good, the garlic bread had a nice flavor and the meatballs were delicious. The lemoncello cake was so good we regret we only got one to share. It's a fun shark theme, and they carry that into the meal names. For a quick and easy dinner it's a great option and we will be back, especially as we head to hockey practices in the future! read more

Whenever I'm housesitting in a part of town far from my own, I like to check out the restaurants. Spaghetti Shark is a locally owned spot in south Tempe that opened in June. There's very, very limited seating in the storefront, so it's definitely a takeout-focused business. Pasta is the star here, obviously; you can build your own meal with lots of options for customization, or you can order a larger bundle for a group meal. There is also a limited selection of subs, breads and a Caesar salad. I ordered one of the combo options meant to feed a small group of maybe three or four. My order was ready quickly and the man behind the counter was very friendly. There's lots of cute shark decor inside and outside. The spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs were very good--rich flavor, nicely seasoned. After eating my fill, there's definitely at least two more meals' worth left, so they don't skimp on portions. I also got a piece of their house-made cheesecake with caramel sauce, which was great. The meal came with garlic bread, which wasn't bad, but it lacked something. A little more crunchiness? A little more garlicky goodness? It was fine, especially when dipped in the sauce, but I didn't love it. In this economy, I'm a little baffled by the spaghetti to go trend, as it's really one of the cheapest and fastest things to cook at home. But it's definitely a thing now, and Spaghetti Shark is a great place for it--fast, friendly and tasty, with a cute concept and prices that are comparable to other similar eateries. If you're looking for takeout pasta, especially to feed a family, I recommend it. read more

The food was below average in taste and quality. It was warmed up, meat was chewy. The sauce was watery. It was very pricey for what it was. The staff were helpful and nice. The only seating is uncomfortable at best. They do not offer a public restroom. They do not offer fountain drinks. Do yourself a favor and go to Barro's on the other end of the building. read more

Went for a take out order, but the surf/shark vibe inside the restaurant was cool, and the owners/employees were friendly and accommodating. We ordered the peanut butter noodles, requested without chicken, request granted. This was the hit of the evening for the family. The other pasta dishes-mac and cheese, alfredo-was ok. I really like this place, you get huge portions of tasty food for a great price. I have tried every single one of their entrees and can rank them from best to decent 1. The shipwreck, this can easily feed two people and has both of their flag ship sauces in one dish 2. Sharkinoff, this has the tastiest sauce, it's rich, creamy and deeply flavorful 3. Chicken scampi, this also has a rich and creamy sauce with some lemon to cut some of the heaviness. Very enjoyable. 4. Squalo, it's an Alfredo based dish. It's good but the shipwreck has it beat because it has the Alfredo and the meat sauce. 5. Peanut with chicken, it was creamy flavor and Rich but was a little too sweet and not a flavor you typically want when you are craving spaghetti 6. Mac and cheese, it's a baked Mac and cheese meaning it's not saucy and did lack some flavor. It was heavy but not in a satisfying way. I would not order this again. read more

We've been meaning to try Spaghetti Shark, it's really "local"-- it's in our neighborhood! We previewed the menu and knew we'd try 2 "signature" dishes that seemed like you'd never see elsewhere. A friendly greeting, our order was ready in less than 10 minutes, using amazingly sturdy packaging, and it was still nice and hot to enjoy on our own patio. The food was incredible for the price paid, u would happily go there again. I only wish they had some merch available.

The food was very good, comparable to a solid homemade pasta. We ordered the overboard bacon Mac and cheese and the chicken scampi. My main focus however, was the service. While we were deciding what to eat, the owner said there was regular who didn't want to come inside to grab their pickup order due to the rain, so this man went outside into some of the heaviest rain we've had all year to bring it to their car. My family and I recently tried the food at the Spaghetti Shark in Temp. Their food is so delicious! I tried their Peanut Chicken Noodle, my husband had The Spaghetti Shipwreck, and my son had Overboard Bacon "mac and cheese." We were all very impressed with their food.
