Deceptive Company - Avoid at All Costs This company became blatantly deceptive after we completed the quote, confirmation, and payment process. Once they had our money, they claimed the word count was incorrect and demanded more money. When challenged, they backtracked -- only to then claim confusion about the expedited service we had already been quoted and paid for. I sent them a copy of their own order confirmation, which clearly included "urgent translation and apostille service." Their response? Ignore the documentation and demand an additional $100 anyway. When we requested a cancellation and full refund -- less than an hour after payment -- they went silent. Despite advertising a "cancel for a full refund" policy, they have been completely unresponsive via phone and email. Do not trust this company. Warning don't get ripped off! was excited to find a translation company that could handle my NLV Spanish Visa documents for Sworn Translation. The customer service agents were amazingly helpful. But when it came time to receive my quote is was so far out of line that I would never consider working with this company. The same documents that several other companies/individuals who are Sworn Translators for the Spanish Government, were giving quotes of $30 to 40 dollars a document, this company wanted to change me for each word. And this company gave me an estimate of $2891.00 it wasn't even in a ballpark I would consider paying since my cost for the same documents was quoted at $350 total from two other sources. I was appalled that they would take such advantage of people like that! I ended up directly dealing with a fantastic gal from another company in Spain. Her English was excellent and she got everything done very quickly. I needed to get documents translated and sent to the apostille for my custody case. They were prompt when providing a quote - both cost and timeline. When i paid, that was the end of their customer service. I emailed my "contact" several times, no response. I called and would get a vague answer and get put on hold when i asked for details - only to wait 45 mins and then get cut off. This happened repeatedly. When i expected the documents to be arriving AT my lawyers' office, because they told me they were complete just awaiting FedEx tracking number, they went silent again. only after i pressed by phone and many emails, did i get a response - saying it would be another week!! This would require i change my International court date!! I am beginning to think this is a scam company and am looking into putting in a claim with my bank and the BBB. I still cannot get someone to call me - eventhough they claim they have tried - no message, no missed calls - so this only adds to the lack of transparency. read more

They are not real sworn translators and will deliberately sell you the wrong thing, which will jeopardize your visa, then will try to upsell you the actual sworn translation at 5x the cost. I needed a certified translation for a birth certificate, and I shopped around, as I never had to do this online, and I was kind of worried to send out important docs first in order to get a quote. I came across these folks from The Spanish Group and I was impressed indeed about their prompt response, absolutely great communication and customer service, and the translated document provided, it looks just like the original but in Spanish. I have to admit they had the most convenient rate, as I found rates from $25 to $125 for the same doc. I really think they want to stand out and everybody is on the same page. Additionally, I called 26 hours after my payment to confirm these documents would be completed as they are crucially important.. After leaving my last review I got a call and email the very next day. They made it right and gave me my whole credit back. The interpreter that was assigned to me was great. Daniel V. was great at staying in contact with me all week up to the hearing date and was very accommodating to the unpredictable court schedule. Unfortunately the hearing did not happen that day so he told me to contact him again to reschedule when i get the summons and by the time I got my new summons it was 4:00 he was already gone for the day so I could not contact him to see if he could if he could help me 8:00 am the next day. I ended up having to use a friend to translate for me because the time frame was so short. The only complaint I had was whoever answered the phone when I was trying to contact Daniel to reschedule was not helpful. He kept asking about a order number I did not have and would not transfer my call or even tell me if he was still in the office. I got kind of fed up and just told him it's fine and I would try to email him again and hopefully he sees it. I probably should have seen if they could get me another interpreter but after my 1st experience I was a little weary and had already developed a relationshipwith Daniel. So I felt better going with a friend just because I knew that they would be there. I will admit I could have been a bit more patient with him but my stress level was pretty high and my trust was not all there after the 1st experience. All in all things did end up working out and I think they did a decent job for the unpredictable schedule I have with the court in Mexico. read more
