I noticed a sign inside the restaurant asking customers to leave a 5-star Yelp review in exchange for a free drink. Honestly, you can keep the free drink. What would really help your business is improving the customer service. When we walked in, the employee at the front counter was constantly on her phone. There was no greeting, no smile, no "welcome," nothing. It immediately gave a cold impression. At one point we asked for sauce and were given only one. When my friend politely asked for another, it felt like we were asking for a favor rather than normal service. When we finished eating, we even cleaned our own table and threw our trash away (which we didn't have to do). On the way out we said "thank you" and "goodbye," but again there was no response at all because the employee was still focused on her phone. To be fair, the food itself was actually good. The problem is the service is extremely poor, and hiring front-counter staff who show no hospitality hurts the business. A restaurant can have good food, but if customers feel unwelcome, they won't want to come back. Our go to spot for lunch with my coworkers if we crave Mediterranean meat. We especially LOVE their beef kabob plate, as their beef is very well seasoned and super tender. Their phone skills could use some work but they compensate for it with yummy food and excellent upper management. Usually this place is very good. Chicken thigh plate is delicious. Today we ordered 3 chicken thigh plates and instead they gave us 3 chicken thigh wraps in lavash with that sauce. We let them know the order was wrong.
