If you like loose tea, rubs, spices, salts, sugars, little gifts, you won't be disappointed with your visit. Our daughter got us hooked on this place because she always brought a variety of loose teas back home since she was going to school at UNH. We got addicted and each trip up there we always stop in and stack up on loose teas, rubs, and spices for the BBQ. Prices are very reasonable and there is a tremendous selection of everything. There is a rewards program which we take part in and it has help us save some money over the years. The store is located in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. There is plenty of parking in the garages and not so much on the street. read more

This is a franchise business. On Tuesday, March 18th,2025, I went into this location in Portsmouth, NH and made an initial purchase of $68.17. I came back with my sister and made another purchase of $89.35 making my total purchase equal $157.52. I didn't sign up for the loyalty program with the first purchase. The gentleman working when I made my second purchase said after you spend $150 you get a $10 coupon. I asked if he would give me credit for my first purchase and he said I could only do that if I had a receipt which I didn't get with my first purchase. I then asked if I could return the ones I bought and rebuy them. He told me he couldn't do that because they have to throw out returns and there were cameras in the store so he would get caught. I'm not 100% sure but I'm guessing the man that waited on me might be one of the owners and just didn't want to do anything. Even if he isn't it is terrible customer relations. How many $150 dollar plus customers does this store have in a day? Probably a rare transaction. I'm in Portsmouth every couple of months but I'll never return here. read more

Cute little shop that opened just a few days ago. It was pretty popular while we were there, had so many interesting leaf and herbal teas, spices, dried herbs, spice blends and rubs, specialty salts and sugars, etc. It's perhaps too early to tell, as they are literally just starting and are naturally going to be eager to please, but they were very nice, and appear to put a lot of love and pride into what they offer, the custom blends they make, etc. Fun store to browse at random, and a great option if you're looking to mix up some new flavors (or maybe try one of the premade blends, and just pretend you're the artist when your loved ones are raving about the flavors!) read more

This is hands down the best shop of this sort I have ever visited. The selection is outstanding and the packaging is very nice. Many exotic varieties of teas and spices. They make their own spice mixes in-house and everything is fresh and amazing. My palate will forever be grateful for visiting here. If you are looking to widen your culinary horizons, this is the place to do it. The staff was the best part! They were eager to share their extensive knowledge and had many wonderful suggestions and cooking ideas. Very personable and kind. Jenn is a superstar! This place is so cute! If you are looking for pre mixed packaged spices look no further!! They came in all sizes so if you aren't ready to buy such a big pack, there are smaller packs for just one or two meals. They also sell different types of salt - even a sriracha one for all you sriracha lovers! And lastly they all serve loose tea leaves, again of all sizes so that if you don't like the tea you only had to deal with a tiny bag of tea leaves! The shop is in a great location. The storefront is small, but the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about tea and spices. There are a range of products that are all incredible. I got 4 different kinds of tea and am beyond happy with my purchase. I feel stupid because I have waited so long to try this spot. Love, love, love this store! Have been twice, on our most recent trips to Portsmouth. So many exciting blends, salts, sugars! I'm not a tea drinker, so I didn't delve into the that part. Staff is extremely helpful, and for a tiny, packed store, they never made me feel rushed. They have tons more herbs and spices than what's on the sales floor, so I would suggest asking if there's anything you can't find. We bought some Merlot salt, which I can't wait to try on roasted veggies. I've been adding a pinch of Mushroom Paradise Spice Blend to my sauces, and it really adds a depth. I grabbed a catalog, so that I make sure to make an extensive list of wants for the next time I'm in town. read more
