It's so fresh, lasts significantly longer than produce purchased at the grocery store, and by eating with the seasons, we are getting a healthy variety of nutrients! We also love that we are getting our food from awesome local farmers and saving all the resources that transporting produce long distance requires. Picking up our weekly box is easy at a convenient local location. We also really love that they've more recently added a substantial amount of additional local market items to add to the weekly delivery of desired! We now get great sourdough bread, delicious baked goodies (like cinnamon rolls!), extra herbs or berries, and fun cheeses. There's also seafood and many other items available. And guess what?? Yes, they do sell fruits and vegetables, but the main product here is Hot Pepper Jelly…read more I don't know why they call it "jelly", the texture is more like jam or marmalade with seeds and chunks of pepper flesh in it. And it is definitely not a sauce or paste, so it does not incorporate easily into room temperature liquids (like oil, vinegar, soy sauce, etc.). It is more like a "spread", so you need a little force to spread it. Another cooking option is to dissolve this jelly into hot oil (like stir fry). In fact, I recommend using their jelly in spicy stir fry. Afterglow looks like orange marmalade. It has citrus note, also. I use it for shrimp or chicken stir fry. It is made mostly of habanero pepper. Sting & Linger is made of mostly ghost pepper. I use it for beef or pork stir fry. Its spiciness kicks in slowly and stays and stays. Tastes smokey. Each jar is $8 at the time of this writing.

So changing up my entire diet was something i had no choice over i'm 100% positive the keto diet I was on nearly killed me. Actually keto made my cholesterol rise by over 100 points!! It helped my stomach issues but screwed my health and my cholesterol up to a dangerously high level. So bad that i felt sick all the time I was on Keto for over 9 months. So i turned my diet around to be based on fresh veggies, fruits lean protein and whole grains with healthy fats and lower carb. I came across Talley farms by accident i was looking for a better provider besides Imperfect foods. Their quality and prices are insane now and not worth what they are charging and a lot of their produce is imported from mexico and other countries a lot of the time which is a no no we live in the Ag hub of the country! So when i found Talley i loved that they only have local produce, Fresh picked, organic and in season! And i must say my god the difference in taste of farm fresh produce cannot be compared to store bought!! Even with something as simple as grapes right off the vine GASM!! Gorgeous fruits and veggies from this awesome group of farms!! They are the sweetest people!! They respond quickly to your emails and every delivery is correct! They send recipes and ideas for what your box will contain every week which i Love!! You can also replace things you don't want with other items or extra of something. You can also add additional in season fruits, veggies herbs etc from the available list in your email. I needed extra lettuces for my guinea pigs one week and she graciously replaced my cauliflower with tons of beautiful red little gem lettuces!!! I know most people don't get excited about produce but i'm telling you when i open my boxes from them i'm excited as hell Lol!! I am gushing about them because i truly believe they've got something great here and i'm so thankful i found out about them! We all need to clean our diets up to feel better and live longer and they help make it easier.
