I'm not a drinker but I can see why my fiance likes to come here. I've only been here once and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The Station is a hidden gem. You have to enter the parking lot to find it. They have a jukebox, dart boards, and a pool table. You can definitely tell this is a neighborhood favorite. Everyone seems to all know each other there. Pros: The bartenders are really nice. I noticed they don't jip you one bit. Everyone's drinks seem to be filled to the rim. You definitely get your moneys worth here. Mobile Yelp on my Blackberry actually helped my friends and I find this place the night before Thanksgiving when we wanted to have a drink but everywhere we had tried was closing or about to close. I gotta say thanks mobile yelp! When we first walked in we were a little skeptical but were appreciative of the atmosphere. It's a little dive bar like but a step up from our other SGV dive bar favorite the Buc. The place has great music (as in the jukebox is playing more recent music and not the 70's classics the Buc usually offers) and TV's on the walls. The staff is nice and the drinks are very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning in the future. read more

Alright, it's really more of a 3.5. If the place were walking distance I would give it 5. Tiny neighborhood dive bar, great to grab a quick, cheap drink with some friends; not a place I would plan my night around. Staff is friendly, the crowd varies and can make for some good people watching, or just making you feel really awkward depending on the night. When I don't feel like spending $15/drink at 1020 lounge, I use to come to The Station. The drinks were cheap and would do its job! Parking is behind, and it's relatively easy to find a spot. Also, there's a BofA next door so you won't have to go thru the minimum credit charge. There's also a pool table and a juke box. Altogether, the station is a typical dive bar; cheap drinks, random people, small, dark, etc. The drinks may not be as cheap as bar louie's happy hr, but it has a more dive bar feel and its not bumping hip hop all the time. Walked in looking for lunch and the Arsenal match. 1 out of 2 was perfectly fine with me, especially since the great bartender let me bring food in from outside so that I wouldn't miss out on lunch. They open supper early is what the bartender said. He let me grab a soda and watch the game even tho I didn't order a drink (cause I had to go back to work). The service here is AWESOME... It's a pretty cool dive bar. I love how you get to walk into double sided doors, like from a good ol' western bar. The drinks here are at a pretty reasonable price... More on the lower spectrum. There's really not that much to do- they have one of everything. They had one dart board, one video game, one pool table, etc. This place would be more fun if they had a couple more pool tables.. Because when we got there we were ninth on the list, which was probably a three hour wait! Other than that, it was a pretty cool place to watch a little bit of baseball and to grab a beer or two. Station is a nice little dive bar with cheap drinks and heavy handed pours! The place is pretty small though. There's one pool table, a jukebox, a couple of tables to the side, and two dart machines. *Warning!* Don't get the table right next to the dart machine. Cheap beers, good service. Check your ego at the door, this bar is simple, gritty, and fun when you and your friends just want to hang, talk shit, drink beer and shoot darts! I bought drinks all night and the bill was only $43 with a $10 tip. WTF!? The crowd is very mixed from old fuck faces to young hot babes. So no need for Louies, Chanels, YSL, and all that other bullshit we chicken heads work so hard to buy and flaunt. Come as you are and find me at the dart boards. This is my favorite local no frills watering hole with a pool table, juke box, darts and a few TV's for Sportscenter. Get your buzz on for twenty bucks $2.50 tall cans of Bud and $3 Bud Light Bottles and I don't think I have ever paid more that $5 for a cocktail. Haha. A friendly little bar where everyone gets along. Any kind of confrontation is EXTREMELY RARE. Yes, it's a dive. Yes, it's dark and rundown. The drinks are strong, the bartenders are friendly, the regulars welcoming when they get to know you. Six flat screens in the bar and one on the patio, two soft-tip dart games, pool table, internet juke box and a couple of video games.
