Went there this past labor day weekend and while it was packed there was lots of seatings both indoors and out. There was live music indoors and lots of activities outdoors. We had a variety of food from loaded tater tots, eggs benedict, and steak and eggs. I can't complain about the food the presentation was beautiful and the taste was even better. I also got the bellini flight which is quite strong (i'm a lightweight though so take that with a grain of salt). Sunday breakfast that beats the traditional NJ diner. Very good breakfast. We really enjoyed our visit this morning. Tasty coffee, A small OJ served in a little bottle that reminded me of a Yuhoo. I got the combo platter with 2 pancakes and scrambled eggs. Very good. My wife got the yogurt with granola and fruit. Drizzle the honey on it! Yummy. The service was good. Quick. Overall, I'd give this place 2.5 stars. The food was around 3 stars, the ambiance was 3 stars, but unfortunately the service was only 1 star, which really brought down the experience. We came for breakfast with a party of four and ordered the French toast, pancakes, waffle, candied bacon, and an omelette. Overall, the food was good. The standout was definitely the candied bacon--it was flavorful and something I'd order again. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. Right from the start, two of the coffee cups at our table were visibly dirty, which wasn't a great first impression. Three of us ordered coffee and asked for creamer, and they only brought out 4 little packets of creamer. I joked with our waiter and said that will be enough for me, but the other two will need some as well. It took him a bit to bring more creamer out. Overall, our server was slow and inattentive throughout the meal. I went most of meal without coffee, and even after asking for a refill near the end of my meal, it took about 10 minutes before it finally arrived. By then, everyone had finished eating, so the refill wasn't much use. The ambiance was pleasant enough and made for a comfortable breakfast, but the slow, inattentive service overshadowed what was otherwise a decent meal. One other thing to note: they charge a 3% service fee if you pay with a credit card, so keep that in mind before you visit. I'd consider giving them another try if the service improves, because the food has potential, but based on this visit, it was a disappointing overall experience. read more

It has all the makings of a great Sunday brunch. The music was good, the food was better than the average tourist joint. The service was OK. The problem is that the place follows a formula and a system. They're not a restaurant as much as it's kind of like a cafeteria. If you ask for something special, it confuses people. If something is missing from your table that your waitress should provide, no other employee will pick up on it. iIf your drink isn't garnished right, nobody picks up on it. Food was good and fast to come out even on a Saturday night in season. The only thing that I was disappointed by was that I expected it to be more of an adult place with yard games to drink beer and play after eating, however that area was packed with kids. Maybe if we went later in the night it would be more for adults, but when you are at the beach I feel like I'm not gonna spend my evening waiting for kids to go home so I can use the brewery for what it is. read more

Such a great place for early any occasion! The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and great. The space is large-plenty of space for large groups and families. They also have rotating events, like dueling pianos on Wednesday! The food is delicious as well. I enjoyed the stuffed French toast. It's exactly as you'd expect, although I'll try something different next time since stuffed French toast isn't quite my palate. The loaded tater tots is also a generous portion and crispy. We had a chance to grab breakfast at The Station House on the Friday before Labor Day 2025. The interior of this restaurant/ brewery is immense with high ceilings along with a large outside area. My family and I love Mud Hen and their sister restaurants, Poppi's and Dogtooth. We recently needed to plan a reception for a celebration of life, and were so delighted by how beautifully everything turned out at The Station House. The buffet we planned was delicious and we had enough for guests to take leftovers home. All of the servers and bartenders were incredibly kind and helpful. Loved that they had all of the mud hen cocktails at the ready. The space itself is gorgeous...they went above and beyond to beautifully decorate it for this bittersweet occasion. This restaurant shows what you can achieve with excellent management. The house manager was welcoming, a part of her crew, and able to maintain the clarity needed for quick and wise decision making, which means everything was kind and chill - the whole place had a relaxed atmosphere: we have kids, and often that means reaching for grace. This place had such a wonderful and clean setup that made sense for our kids that we didn't really make as much of a mess as we know they can. Then - the food: there is a vast difference between making the classics well and making food that reminds you that cooking is a craft that may seem simple, but can be elevated with the wisdom of ingredient selection, balance, execution, and seasoning. We got the pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon for the kids to split, the classic eggs Benedict, and the banana split (which included yogurt and granola). The pancakes were quintessential breakfast: balanced between the treat and the nutrition. The banana split breakfast was a tour de force of careful ingredient selection, and the eggs Benedict featured fresh arugula that played nicely off the Canadian bacon and the expertly poached egg and the hollandaise sauce was the perfect linchpin for the whole thing...oh yeah, and the tater tots we got with the eggs Benedict was BOMB. The breakfast here is soooo delicious! We didn't get a chance to order any of the cocktails, but my coffee mug was always filled with hot coffee throughout my entire meal. The waitress was super speedy and diligent! The atmosphere on a Monday morning was chill (to be expected). I love the fact that this can also serve as an event space! The train station ticker on the wall is a really cool touch, and changes periodically with fun slogans or information on specials! The Station House is one of the best new additions to the Wildwood NJ restaurant scene! Visited on Sunday for brunch. Currently they are open only Sat and Sun from 9-2 for Brunch. Food was fantastically flavorful. fresh and fun! Ordered the classic Benedict and chorizo Benedict with jalapeños and avocado. On both you can choose from home fries or tots. Peach Bellini was perfect with brunch. Service was attentive and pleasant. Food was very reasonably priced, especially for the shore! Ambiance was perfect for a Sunday brunch. All tables were filled on our visit in March, so imagine what it will be like as summer is just around the corner! Industrial and modern sleek touches were well thought out and perfect for the space. We love mudhen and decided to give the Stationhouse a try on our way onto the island. Loved the blueberry Bellini and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I had a make your own omelet with brisket and American and it was really great. I also think their price point is just right, it's below a lot of the other diners and their food is amazing. Was excited to celebrate my friends 40th Birthday brunch at The Station house. It was pouring rain and extremely busy, but we were seated quickly and the server was extremely attentive. Unfortunately, we were seated under a dripping air vent-the server asked if we wanted a new table, but we declined because she was fantastic, and there were only 5 of us, so we were able to move around the table in an attempt to avoid the drops. Food and drinks were delicious and delivered in a timely manner. Everything seemed to be going well until we heard VERY loud barking-over and over again-obnoxious. Yes, to my surprise, there was a large dog INSIDE of The Station House. I understand lots of restaurants are dog friendly, however most of those places have rules about the dogs being outside. I let it go, on account of rain and that everyone in the service industry is tired at this point in the summer. Unfortunately it got worse. Our food was no sooner delivered, and the dog owners walked by our table with the dog-great, they are leaving,we can enjoy our meal in peace-or so I thought. The dog returned a few minutes later, SOAKED from the downpour outside, and proceeded to shake-dispersing it's hair and wetness all over our table, freshly delivered food, and us. We were soaked, food was soaked, the floor was soaked (slipping hazard) and the dog was soaked-my appetite was gone. The owners made their way back to their table, with the dog shaking 2 more times along the way; soaking everyone and everything in it's path....... We debated expressing distaste to the waitress, but it wasn't her fault. I just hope moving forward that management takes a hard look at their policies and makes the appropriate corrections. read more
