Great place to grab a gourmet sandwich at an affordable price at Kiawah. Had the chicken salad sandwich. It was one of the best chicken salads I have ever had - not runny with mayonnaise like a lot of chicken salads. You order, pay for it and then wait for your name to be called. Wonderful mixture of clientele. A woman customer wearing $500 designer slacks stands next to a painting contractor with paint all over his pants. Nothing like it nowhere. Good reasonably priced food appeals to all classes! I give it 5 stars not only because the food was delicious, but because it was cleaner than many establishments. We had just eaten a few days earlier at a well-known restaurant on King Street in Charleston that was disgustingly dirty. At The Station, on the other hand, you could eat off the floor. My wife and I had breakfast here this morning on our way home from renting a condo on Kiawah Island (mainly based on the 4.5 average stars rating on Yelp). I had the breakfast special and my wife had the French toast. Honestly, it was not a bad breakfast, but was very similar to the grits, eggs, bacon and toast that you can get at Krystal for half the price. We also got two diet cokes for a total bill of nearly $19.00. I just expect a little bit more quality for that amount for a breakfast and not to be eating on paper plates with plastic forks and knives. read more

The station is not only a great place to get gas and run in for quick groceries/chips and drinks but also a delicious place for lunch. I quickly realized it must be good if the locals were eating there. Its a short bike ride from Kiawah with plenty of bike parking. The chicken salad sandwich, bbq sandwich and breakfast are really good. I highly recommend the station if you are looking for homemade sandwiches at half the price. read more

This is a nice gas station with good fresh food. We had a BLT Panini and sweet potato fries. Very good fries and sauce. Panini was good too. I would have believed i was at panera or Atlanta bread company eating that panini... Except for the Tomatoes were not very good for this time of year. They tasted more like winter tomatoes. read more

You can trust all the reviews. We came to Kiawha for the first time last year and discovered the deli at The Station. We returned to Kiawha again this year and purposely returned to the deli for the breakfast sandwiches and lunch wraps. Food is excellent, priced right, friendly staff, and super clean. read more

So, today my family and I went on a nice bike ride from inlet cove to fresh fields. We looked up delicious places to eat and for some reason the station showed up... so, we went and ate. Little did I know it would ruin my week. Like any other family the four of us decided to get a burger. The cashier had glasses on and was a girl and was barely paying any attention to our order. My two 12 year old twin sons ordered a plain burger. Simple enough, right? A plain old burger. Well I happen to be very allergic to dairy. My wife got a burger with everything on it and I specifically asked for no cheese.NO CHEESE! A simple request, right? Well when my 2 sons got all toppings on there burgers and I had cheese. Ok so no big deal and we went up for them to change it but this lady with glasses refused. She was younger and very annoying looking. She refused. I was allergic to cheese. It was 1-2 o clock, June 28th, 2018. We asked to speak to the manager and but apparently no one was there. I tried to make a point by eating the cheese and got a small rash on my lips. After taking most of the cheese of the burger didn't actually taste half bad. But still. It ruined my week because on me and my wife's anniversary, we went to the cru in Charleston to eat. Well I had a big rash on a once a year anniversary and it sucked. Well there u go. Your welcome and u made me cry myself to sleep. read more

I have been coming to Kiawah Island every year even before the Freshfields Village was built. When it was first built I went in to the Station and tried a sandwich and loved it. I didn't really stop in for a few years because most of my family are health nuts and vegetarians, but now that I'm married, my husband and I stopped in and tried the fried chicken wrap and it was delicious! We will probably go back tomorrow and try another sandwich and I'm willing to bet it will be just as good! read more

We stopped here for lunch on our way out to Angel Oak and it was a great little stop! The sweet potato fries were so fresh and well seasoned. My husband and I split the roasted turkey sandwich and the Italian wrap. The wrap could have used a little more sauce, but was cool and refreshing and had a great flavor, and the turkey sandwich was AMAZING! So flavorful, and the peppercorn dipping sauce was the cherry on top - so good!! Perfect place to grab a quick meal before heading to the beach or exploring the rest of Kiawah. read more

A-mazing!! Best sandwiches I have had in a long time. We stopped on our way to the beach and didn't expect too much from the looks of things, but we were all exceptionally happy with our meals. Solid place to eat! Don't be deceived that it's in a gas station. I had the chili dogs, wife had grilled cheese with ham, and we split the sweet potato fries...all very good and prices fairly! Relatively clean spot as well. Would definitely swing in here again for a quick bite. read more

Decent food, clean facilities, fair prices. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich- it wasn't "the best we ever had" as the previous reviewer mentioned, but it was still pretty good for a convenient store (we all added salt and pepper). We also got the turkey sandwich with apple cranberry chutney- it was a good standard turkey sandwich. Make sure you keep your receipt after paying to be able to receive your food from the counter. Easy for breakfast. They have some pre made sandwiches/burritos/biscuits but will also make them to order along with other breakfast items..pancakes, eggs, hash browns, etc. Nothing spectacular but good for a cheap/easy/quick breakfast or lunch read more

Very convenient, very clean, very well lit at night, lots of chip and snack food choices, lots of drink, cold or hot, choices, courteous staff, good car wash, gas not much over off island pricing, hot boiled peanut machine and the stars of the Station are the ladies who make the deli sandwiches. They will make anything your way. A real variety of morning breakfast sandwiches and biscuits and tables to eat at. Great addition to Freshfields. Five stars is all I can give them. read more
