The name does not deceive. They have statues. I love places like this. It's almost like strolling through a sanitized graveyard. Lots of funky looking statues and monuments but no graves. Yeah, they sure do have statues. Lots of animals, lugubrious religious images, melancholy monks, atrabilious angels with spreading wings, naked ladies and of course the ubiquitous gargoyles are all represented. They even had one statue that looked like Godzilla or some variety of Mesozoic therapod. That would look pretty cool in somebody's garden. They also have huge fountains, pools, birdbaths, sundials and various garden ornaments. The different pieces are just piled and dumped anywhere and you have to navigate your way through the yard. It's a causal place to say the least. I'm not even sure where you are suppose to park, I drove into the yard and almost ran over little frog statue that was sitting in the driveway. As far as I can tell there is no inside store and everything is out in the yard. When we drove in nobody was around but after ringing a bell this fellow came out of a shed. He was covered in white powder and was carrying a funny looking saw. Hmmm, I wonder what the hell he was doing in there. He was distantly polite but certainly not verbose. I asked him a price on a sundial and he said he wasn't sure. He just stared at me and I stared at him for a while. I finally asked if he could find out. He went back into his snowy shed and returned a few minutes later with a cloud of white powder following him. He said since the sundial was slightly chipped he could take off a few bucks. Good deal, we now have another sundial for our garden. Not the place to go in you want to be pampered. You're pretty much on your own. But a great place to look at and possible find some unique and different items for your yard or garden. Yeah, I love places like this.

Beautiful finials added to the top of our stone columns.

I feel deeply embarrassed that I lived for two years in Attleboro and never visited this Museum…read more Better late than never. I visited recently to see the exhibit: Adorned. The exhibit featured jewelry from ancient Mesopotamia to today with several ancient Egyptian and Roman pieces, Coptic textiles, Egyptian and Roman cosmetics containers and beautiful sketches from an unknown 20th century jewelry designer. Excellent interpretations of the history of the jewelry were provided by students from Wheaton College. This exhibit combined a number of my favorite things including jewelry, art and history. I spent almost two hours focusing on everything and taking photos. My only minor complaint is that some of the glass boxes housing the art and jewelry were scratched and damaged which made it hard to take photos and even see some details. If anyone is looking for more of a reason to donate, this would be it. The gift shop is also stellar and had lots of nice items for an art lover as well as some local pieces and jewelry. Apparently, they also offer classes and events. They were also super nice about returning my phone call when I called and left a message inquiring about the exhibit and whether reservations were required. Admission is by donation. Suggested $3.

The museum has one major space that rotates fairly frequently--it seems like there's something new every month. The major annual events are a flower show and an art auction, and the museum showcases lots of great local artists. I love going to the opening receptions, where I can look at the art while enjoying wine and cheese. The museum has a small but very cute gift shop, with totally reasonable prices! (Ex. I got a cute little Xmas ornament this year for less than $2). A lot of the stuff is made by local artists.

Very unprofessional since day 1…read more We had an appointment to check the place out and the owner nabely did not pay us much attention because she was "busy", and she did this at every appointment but we decided to go with the place because it was beautiful and had everything we needed. So we thought. we Went with the smallest package because I wanted to decorate myself. she said " your wedding is destined to fail" because I didn't wanna pay the extra $4000 just for her to decorate?? she said the oven came with the hall Then days before my wedding she told me the racks in the oven were gone because someone else rented them. So we had to Buy some. months before the wedding I told her in great description what tables i Wanted to use and how I want them set up. Day of the wedding comes along and she has the completely wrong tables out which messes up my whole seating chart so I had to have my family run around and move all the tables around, decorate and coordinate with the caterer. Thankfully they got it all done in time. Some things were messed up because they didn't have enough time due to the tables. my bridesmaid had to get dressed in the bridal sweet because she was nice enough to help set Up and the bridal sweet had a window wide open and Everyone could see her dressing if they walked by. ??? day of coordinator/owner Jason was on point the whole wedding made sure I had what I needed but at the end of the night when my family was done cleaning up he said " okay now get the fuck out my building". i would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.
