Since John works with kids, he had a program suited for the pre-teen age group and their emotional needs/communication that didn't feel "childish" to my 10 y/o. After about 2 weeks (1 session a week) , our family dynamic changed for the better. And the next time we saw family, they commented on my son's maturity and communication style being leaps beyond previous encounters. Even just going for "maintenance" sessions is helpful. I started off every other week, but that wasn't enough, so I went once, sometimes twice a week for a couple of months. I don't recommend her for counseling because she has made me feel like I've been robbed. I didn't have the emotional capacity to care about it at the time because I was going through a divorce, but I feel completely taken advantage of, and I certainly don't recommend her to anyone who needs help. I paid for every session in full, but somehow I still had a bill of $130 left over at the end. I was told there was a cancelation fee of $40 which is a scam in the first place, but there was no explanation of where the rest of the bill was coming from. Maybe she decided to change the price for sessions after we already had the sessions? I highly doubt that I'm the only one that has been ripped off by Randi, but I can see I'm the only one to yelp about it so far. Don't make the same mistake I did. Find counseling somewhere else.
