Food and service great but somebody needs to clean outside dinning area don't feel they mop must just use blower lol

Sat at the bar for happy hour on Thursday: beers were good especially at $4 and $7 food. We ordered ham/cheese sliders, bbq pork sliders and Brussels sprouts. Service was good , waited on by 2 girls ( working the bar). Had interesting entertainment from the young petite short hair girl gyrating the metal ice machine and one bartender doing a curtesy while picking g up menus and after bringing our drinks. I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a takeaway caramel sundae with whipped cream, and it was far below what a reasonable person would expect in terms of quality and presentation. For the price, I expected something that reflected the standard of the establishment. Honestly, I could have gotten a better sundae from McDonald's for less than half the cost. I also ordered a burger, which was equally underwhelming. It's frustrating to spend money and leave feeling disappointed. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work on improving both their food and overall quality. As it stands, I won't be returning. read more

Stopped here in the middle of the day. Asked to sit outside and was put all the out by the entrance. Host explained they were sitting up for a party. Ok but why when the next group came in were they seated in nicer bird poop free seats. Burger and fries were good. Ribs sandwich was dry and tasteless. I thought the menu was pricey. No mention of happy hour by the waitress. It wasn't until after we ate I saw a happy hour menu on the table out front. When I question the waitress she said sorry I forgot it was happy hour. What a nice place. The atmosphere, service and food is all good. Had the hot thick pretzel sticks with jalapeño cheese dip which was a nice kick to a typical starter. Main course was the club sandwich on marble rye with a side of truffle fries. Capped off with a heavy 5 layer chocolate cake that was a bit much but overall this is a mainstay and definitely a recommended eatery. read more

It's best to come here on the weekdays as it isn't so packed so you get seated right away and definitely faster service. I recently bought a Groupon voucher for 2 five 5 oz pour flights for $15, what a steel. Great local spot for a casual dinner. The beer flight is a great option to try different varieties if you can't decide on a glass or two. Came here for our Valentines date; the State 48 burger was cooked perfectly and the truffle fries were flavorful. After reading some of these reviews, I just don't get it! This is our go to place, We have found the food to be really, really good! The food is comforting and delicious. Have you tried the southwestern chicken pasta? I crave it! We've had wonderful service also. They're times they get pretty busy, but if something is a little slow coming out of the kitchen, they communicate with you well. Sienna, Alyssa, Matthew, and everyone we've met have been friendly and fun to chat with. They make a pretty good drink too!!! The beer really shines, well, because it is after all, a brewery. Their prices are inline with food anywhere! At least where we eat. You might find cheaper fast food, but that doesn't really count here. It's a nice comforting, friendly neighborhood place (yes, I know there are several). It's not French Laundry, but it's not trying to be. I would strongly urge you to give them another try if you had a less than great experience! read more

Food, service and ambience were all great for a Sunday evening. Pretty chill and not very busy, but I bet they are busy on Friday/Saturday. Server was excellent for a group of 8 people, so many items and drinks. Looks fun for a hangout with 21 and older friends. Not too pricey either. I went to State 48 for a Taylor Swift drag show and it was the perfect venue. Spacious and airy with lots of room. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was on the smaller size, but it was very good. Our service was great, especially considering the entire place was ordering at the same time because of the scheduled show. Overall a super fun experience! read more

We decided to give this place another try because our first experience wasn't the most exciting one. We ended up getting the same server we had. Service was extremely slow again. waited 15mins for drinks. We ordered the mac&cheese which was basically a soup. Steak salad was good but steak was well done when we asked for medium rare. server never asked how our meal was. We came on a night where there was live music and it was very slow. I have been going to the Rock House location for well over a year. It's been my "secret fishing spot" The beer is good at all the locations but no one touches the amount of amazing that both Sierra and Alyssa radiate. These women bust their nuts to make sure your visit is top notch. The banter is unmatched, their service is professional and they are all around what make the place what it is for me. Plus! Rock House has a great happy hour, live music on Fridays and half off beers on mondays! read more

Great Spot if you're in NorTerra or live close by. My go to is the Steak Cobb Salad, it's delicious and tried the Coconut Coffee Stout and it too was delish. Overall, this place is solid. The beers are well made. The four that I got to try were well-balanced and produced according to their style. i will point out that their Barleywine was probably the best in show for a restaurant/tap room. One thing I've always gauged the quality of the restaurant is their meatloaf. I will go out of my way for a good meatloaf. If they have it on the menu, I will order it, and I hope it's good. Theirs is solid, and I would order it again. Based on the feedback from our dinner party, the burgers were really good, and the other thing that was quite the hit was the Brussell Sprouts. Took 45 minutes to get 4 beers delivered to our table, then they never delivered the check (Probably would've been another 45 minutes to get that). Review the charge the next day, and they charged a 60% tip on top of the price of the beers. Unbelievably unprofessional and willing to scam their customers. Do not go here! read more

Great space to enjoy a drink with your pup during the hot summer. They have lots of outdoor space, and lots of indoor space. They have outdoor misters which keep the place nice and cool. They have two levels inside and dogs are welcomed inside which is awesome! Food was your average American food, buffalo wings where good, sandwich was good except the sweet pickles. Very poor service and something infrequent to me, a hostile and condescending bartender, server (seriously understaffed). Who thought my concerns about her performance was humorous. I never go to non-craft houses, an event prompted. They do not brew nor own their fairly poor beers. Their beers are extracts. The same type of non-craft house Four Peaks has become. With the hostile wait staff and very poor beer, the event was somewhat pointless. I will find every relevant social media site and post my distaste for this poor establishment and organization. I am told national management is very aware and has a view of pound sand to their customers, or never to be a customer again customer. Finally, a punk rode into the establishment on a BMX bike, a bike and the staff did nothing. To me the cap of the worst craft house I have maybe ever been in. The servers are quick and knowledgeable. Tons of TVs for any sports you might want to watch, they have a good drink selection, and they welcome all ages. My bread seemed to be on its way to being stale. I ate half of my sandwich. My guest had the same thing and he was pulling bones out of his sandwich. We were a bit apprehensive given some of the reviews on here. But as we all know most only review when things are bad. First off, our server was very friendly, gave us suggestions, was attentive. The beer was great, really enjoyed the riptide red was a really pleasant red ale, lots of caramel. We had the fried pickles which were actually battered rather than breaded (said breaded on the menu) which was a great surprise as battered are IMHO superior! Then the hot chicken sandwich with buffalo, really solid sandwich, cooked well, great size. So why 4 stars not 5? The outside space needs some love, they could really do with some new 4 top high tops outside, it just needs some attention overall. We will be back! read more

Waiter was attentive and came to check in with us multiple times. Indoor seating is dark and everyone who I saw that sat at the booths had to use their phone flashlight to see the menu. We ordered a flight of beers to try and our favorite was the blood orange sour. Unfortunately they weren't selling cans there. We bought a crowler which was made of cheap material or wasn't packaged well. It didn't last a few hours in the car and we found it punctured and spilled in the car. We ordered from the daily lunch menu. I got the chicken salad which wasn't great as the chicken was a little overdressed for me. Also, I substituted the salad dressing for Italian and it came out in a weird bright orange color. My partner ordered the meatloaf sandwich and said it was ok. read more

The service here was really great. The staff was very kind and very attentive. We only ordered the pretzels off of the appetizer menu, but it was good. The mustard they serve on the side is delicious. I was disappointed at the state of the outdoor patio though. The booths desperately need to be refinished and sealed and the table chairs need to be cleaned or replaced. They also lack bird control, so there are birds in the rafters and bird poo all over the patio and items on the patio. Overall a great experience, but maybe sit inside. read more

Late Post. I dinned at this place in February and met up with friends out of town. I wasn't really impressed the first time and this time was little better. I feel their food is above average but over priced as I've had better at other establishments. This is a nice fancy steakhouse if your goal is to impress your date of friends in town, etc. They service is good but again I think it's overrated. I did try the crab cakes and Brussels sprouts which were really good. Other had the steaks and they liked their food and side. Overall, good but not great in my opinion but nice place to go if you want to get dressed up for dinner with nice ambiance. read more
