It was just as nice as the pictures. Located on the corner with a stream and single lane bridge next to it, this was a great spot to enjoy a drink and a pastry. My wife's Matcha and my Chai Tea Latte were delicious. My homemade cinnamon scone was also very good. If you live nearby or just want a nice stop off I-78, check this cool cafe out!

The exception is Grounded for Life, which offers delicious breakfast and lunch options that are thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and satisfying. Their extensive, all vegan menu offers breakfast options such as bagel sandwiches, burritos, toasts, and more, and even their coffee is surprisingly good! I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. The cafe itself is pretty small with just a few tables indoors. The outdoor patio is more expansive, and I recommend enjoying your food and drinks outside if the weather is decent.

My only wish is that they had longer hours; they open at 7:30 AM and close at 4 PM, and as someone who likes to start early and sometimes work in the evenings, I'd love even more time here! As we waited, I perused the store and noticed they had merchandise that included Scout coffee beans made in house, greeting cards, Christmas ornaments and decor, sweatshirts and mugs. I was impressed with every single flavor I tried but settled on the coconut ice cream. It was probably the best ice cream flavor I've ever tried- I wish it came in pints! It had bits of coconut and chocolate and wasn't too rich either. Definitely a must try if you're in the area!
