    Amazing Vanilla coffee!
    Camille G.

Great coffeehouse, it definitely a Gem! I will say "Time Stops Here". It's so relaxing and welcoming!. My turkey& pesto panini was phenomenal! The panini's thank you crisp crunch!! Pesto is bright and turkey with roasted red pepper..Yum!! It's a must have! My vanilla coffee was lovely and easy to drink , as the vanilla flavor really shined. I Loved it! For dessert: Chocolate banana roll was Delightful!!! Yes, with a capital "D"!! They make all the desserts fresh!! You can tell by the ingredients they use. And they told me so! Please share this with everyone, you don't want to miss this opportunity to enjoy a peaceful, cozy, and delicious experience!!

While visiting The Red Mill in Clinton area, we decided to grab a hot coffee on this snowy Saturday morning. Although we have been patronizing the coffee house across the street next to the river, we wanted to try to nostalgic feeling ambiance business. The service was five stars and we could feel the local vibes from Customers enjoying their drinks.

A cute little coffee Café, which sells coffee and small treats. On the corner of a cute shopping neighborhood it's a nice place to get a hot or cold tea or coffee.

Cute, clean place nicely located across the street from the Mill. Nice for a meet-up and quiet enough to read a book or work remotely. Decent menu but we came in the evening and most of the stuff wasn't being offered. The pastry case was full but they didn't look fresh at all. Nothing made in house, at least according to the staff. The service was nice. The young gentlemen weren't overly friendly but they were kind. I got a small affogato. I asked for it in a glass but it was given to me in plastic. It tasted great but was defintely pricey for its size.

This place was cute and in a cute little town. I think a tad pricey but the coffee was very good and food was decent. It has a nice little coffee shop vibe in a tiny town in Jersey. Service was good and quick.

Stopped in Clinton for a quick bite to eat and decided to try this coffee shop. The surrounding area is lovely, right in the historic town center. The cafe itself has large windows overlooking the red mill museum. We ate a delicious avocado toast with burrata, and had two drinks -- plain iced coffee and a passion fruit lemonade. Both were great. Service was excellent. Overall great coffeehouse, and thanks for a nice experience!

I was walking in town one day and I happened to stumble into this heavenly coffeehouse. The second I walked in I was immediately gifted with the presence of a certain employee. Arben. He made my experience angelic. It felt like an out of body experience. Ive never felt so welcome in my life. The coffee was reminiscent of pure joy. The sedate environment took all the wait off my shoulder. Arben didnt fail to make me feel l I belonged there. His eyes pierced my soul. 10/10 experience. 100% recommend

The exception is Grounded for Life, which offers delicious breakfast and lunch options that are thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and satisfying. Their extensive, all vegan menu offers breakfast options such as bagel sandwiches, burritos, toasts, and more, and even their coffee is surprisingly good! I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. The cafe itself is pretty small with just a few tables indoors. The outdoor patio is more expansive, and I recommend enjoying your food and drinks outside if the weather is decent.

In fact, don't forget to tuck your vehicles mirror in when you park. Scout's is quaint and cozy, so be ready to possibly wait in line to place your coffee order. Not only do they offer a wide range of coffee beverages, but they have teas, and a great selection of breakfast bites. I had planned on ordering a croissant, but when I got to the counter to order, they were all out at the time. It seemed that they were cooking more in the downstairs area, but I was warned it could be a while. I went with the chicken salad sandwich instead. I know, that was a quick left turn, but the chicken salad sounded good. My husband got a basic coffee and the oatmeal. You don't get your order after paying. They prepare orders as they come in and it seemed that they were behind. It was very busy when we stopped in. We found a place to sit and then a little while later we were alerted that our order was ready. I loved the neighborhood feel of Scout's. I loved that it was a welcoming place of all people. It was warm, homey, and locally owned. That is the type of place that we love to support. We liked everything we ordered. The only comment I would make is that the chicken salad along with the bread they served it on was a VERY dry combination. It needed some moisture or some softness. It was difficult to swallow at times because my throat was so incredibly dry. If I happen to be in town again, and I can stop in, I would just order something else. It was not bad, it just has room for improvement. Overall, we loved our time spent at Scout's. And we were happy to stop in and support.

Upon entry the barista remembered my friend and she was so kind with helping me make a latte and pastry selection! We both ordered the ginger molasses latte and I ordered the savory whirligig to go (I can't wait to try that later on). As we waited, I perused the store and noticed they had merchandise that included Scout coffee beans made in house, greeting cards, Christmas ornaments and decor, sweatshirts and mugs. They had a pretty large menu lots of seating and my friend shared they have poetry and evening events. The ladies working were super friendly and my latte was perfect!

I don't usually write reviews, but you're charging $8.75 for what signs in the shop and the counter person called "a pint" of ice cream. My wife was so upset at the sizing that she refused to have any ice cream. Our boys and I went ahead with the purchase despite the price. Now, charge whatever you want if people are okay paying it, but the "pint" clearly wasn't really a pint. Truth in advertising still matters. The "pint" paper container actually holds about a cup of ice cream. We know this because I saved the container, brought it home, and measured its volume. One measuring cup of water (8 oz.) filled the container pretty close to full, about half an inch from the top. You have a lovely shop and I wish you much success. At the same time, please stop telling customers that they're buying a "pint" of ice cream when they're really buying about a cup of ice cream. Label it something else, "Standard," "Regular," "Large" (compared to the pops), or whatever. Calling something a pint when it clearly isn't only hurts your credibility as a proprietor and sullies the customer experience. Thank you.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, we arrived at noon on Thursday, breakfast ended at 11am and so we pivoted to lunch items that included a Boars Head cheesesteak, chips and pickle plus a really tasty cheeseburger . As we were leaving, my husband decided on a large chocolate peanut butter milkshake which he deemed awesome. (Thanks Todd for stepping in and making one) We stopped at our pre planned list of farm stands and headed home. Very next day, Friday, up at dawn to get a few chores out of the way so we could head out to Gronsky's for the day #2 breakfast deadline! I prefer sitting at the counter and watching their magician, Tyler, assemble the food for orders, crack open the eggs, drop the pancake batter in the proper corner and keep all meats aligned for the plates. He's the king of that kitchen and each one of those servers is the queen doing the hustle, bustle, slide to the left, back up and move forward like square dancers on the move. From the Taylor ham, provolone and fried egg sandwich on that FRESH Kaiser roll to the omelette with those delicious home fries and my PEACH PANCAKE . . . . all of it was their special take on breakfast served their way. Almost 50 years, folks! Prices are absolutely reasonable for how the food is prepared and presented, quality ingredients cooked according to diners' specifications. What more can you ask for?
