Aging venue is passable, with decent sound and large bar, but unnecessarily painful check-in and ridiculous parking. GA is the way it is for venues in Deep Ellum. As long as the stage is high enough and the crowd is not too douchey, it's ok. Southside Ballroom is my least favorite for this reason (short stage, annoying crowds). The Studio, which was Canton Hall a couple years ago, is small enough that its not hard to see the band, even from the back. The subwoofers were popping from fatigue a few times during the show. And the vocals were lost regularly (might have been due to the band's sound guy). By far the worst part of the night was checking in. My +1 had been at Six Flags all day and was experiencing some back stiffness (not uncommon due to a college sports injury). She brought a prescription in with her in case she had pain from the standing-only GA setup. The door people would not let her bring it in, despite the fact it had her name on the bottle and was clearly *prescribed* to her. They offered to hold it in the office (which seems like a massive liability exposure for them) and would not come straight out and say why, despite me asking repeatedly, "What's the issue, exactly?" I guess they are worried about people selling their scrips in there? So worried that they treat responsible adults like drug dealers. It felt super crappy. We walked the bottle back to the car in the parking garage a couple blocks away. Speaking of parking, it's available for $10 in the parking garage two blocks east. If you want to park on the street, a guy will try to charge you $20 cash ("I don't have the card reader", he said) which seemed pretty sketch. A Shiner and a water bottle were $15. Overpriced but not surprising. If your favorite band is playing here, park in the parking garage and make sure to read their bag policy.

Understanding this is a very small music venue, I had a good experience this week. We arrived about 30 minutes before the event and waited briefly as they checked ID's and slapped on wrist bands. We positioned on the right side and if I were to return in the future, I would move more towards the middle and closer to the front. On the left of the venue is the only bar and while it was crowded between artist, the pace wasn't bad for grabbing drinks. Once again, this is a small venue and expect it to be crowded. No seating, just standing room only for the event I attended. Enjoy.

Saw Jade Bird and Wild Rivers. Very intimate venue and fun atmosphere. Place was packed but logistically they got us in and out quickly. Very fun venue and prefer this to places like AAC.

Wow, did Flight Facilities put on a show or what? The show felt a little more intimate because the venue was not huge, the crowd was active and dressed as the flight crew, and the vocals were live! I did not have to fight my way through the crowd to get a great view as the stage was elevated. I didn't care for the lighting or the visuals.... They felt very high school theater production. It didn't elevate any moment of the show. They had a great bar selection. Liquor, beer, water.... What more could you ask for. It was my first time at this venue, but I'm excited to see myself on that dance floor in the future.

The band, concert, and sound was great. Staff were friendly too. Couple downsides were the floors were sticky and slippery. None of the mens bathroom sinks had soap (not sure if staff has their own bathroom). Costs: I ordered 2 beers and they charged me $37. Tickets were around ~$30 each online for me.

It's $15 a person for 90 minutes...we had 11 people and time flew, but it was the perfect amount of game play time for all of us! The entire vibe of this place was so cool! We were amazed at how much space there is. The back room got pretty tight when we first arrived since there was a group of 12 there already....they had taken over the tall tables in the middle and the couch. We slowly spread out and then their time was up about half way through ours so it wasn't as cramped. But it's still such an awesome set up we couldn't stop talking about it the next day!

Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and just genuinely great people to be around. What really stood out was when we celebrated my mom's birthday there. They wrote a special note for her, and almost every employee took the time to wish her a happy birthday. She felt so loved and had the best time -- it meant more than they probably realize. If you're looking for a fun atmosphere with great vibes, great service, and people who actually care, this is the place. We'll definitely keep coming back!

There was an art installation (similar or part of Meow) and so much fun to take a look at this vibrant and funky art. For Insta people, lots of fun photo opportunities! There is a giant steel structure/installation that has lots of space to climb in, slide through and explore. So much to see and we spent a good 60 mins of play there. Make sure to check the corners ( you're allowed to go in) so you don't miss anything. We almost missed an area. Also there is some areas to do some art as well. We didn't stop to do it but it's there. One slide can be intense, so probably not for small kiddos. Probably good for kids 7 and above (6 if they are courageous) just because of the climbing structure areas and bars width. Parents with young children should follow, they literally can land up somewhere else and some areas they do need to climb up and might need help. Definetly wear sneakers. I wore the wrong shoes and couldn't go into certain areas. Great concept and fun!

Although they offered seating down low, it was constantly rotating on availability depending on the performers. If I wanted to find a seat, I could have. I mostly stood near the bar which wasn't too crowded since it was an all ages event. After standing there for about 2 hours, they did ask us to move to the end of the bar for potential customers .. there never really were more than 3 people ordering at a time, but we still moved. We got tall boy White Claws and it was the perfect sipper drink. The lighting and sound was good for the experience here and they had plenty of vantage points (including a VIP upper floor). Security wasn't bad, I didn't bring a bag, so I breezed through. There's a large parking structure right behind the TBF, so walking over was very easy too. We did initially have handicap people in our group who opted not to attend after we shared that the surrounding sidewalks were not very level and that the amount of people might be a little tricky for navigating with a walker. All in all though, I had a great time here!
