AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience at Studio 4 by Body Mods at Willowbrook. I've had my nose pierced since I was 14 and have never had an issue -- until I came here. I had a new stud put in, and within an hour of leaving the shop, it completely fell out. I followed aftercare instructions and did nothing to dislodge it. When I called to explain what happened, I expected a little understanding or accountability, especially since it had just been done. Instead, I was offered a discounted rate to have it re-pierced -- not a full waiver, even though this was clearly not a fault on my end. But the manager showed zero remorse, offered no solution that reflected any genuine customer service, and left me feeling dismissed and frustrated. Now I'm left without a piercing and can't afford to get it re-done because they wouldn't take accountability. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this felt like a complete lack of care for their clients. Do better. PS. the person who put in my stud was very lovely and seems experienced. I don't want this to reflect on them but instead on how the situation was handled. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at the Coquitlam store location. I came in to resolve an issue with my Helix account, and instead of receiving support, I was met with unnecessary hostility and a completely unprofessional attitude from an employee named Amanda A. From the moment I explained the issue, Amanda A was rude, dismissive, and acted as if I was bothering her. She immediately took an accusatory tone, spoke over me, and made assumptions without even listening to the full situation. At no point did she attempt to be helpful -- instead, she made it clear she had no interest in resolving the problem and treated me as if I had done something wrong. This kind of behavior is unacceptable from anyone representing a customer-facing business. I've had positive experiences at other locations, but this interaction left a very negative impression. I strongly hope management addresses this, as no customer should be treated this way. read more

For long i wanted to have a small tattoo and my search stoped when i googled and found this studio with many good reviews so here i am getting inked. So, this studio offers many things like cosmetic tattoos/ permanent makeup , piercings, aftercare, n tattoos ofcourse. They have their in store packages like premium piercing package which includes 25% off new jewellery from the store, h2Ooceans piercing soap and piercing spray. Ask front desk for more or visit their website. They charge per hour and starts from $150 onwards. I had small Tatoos so i was done within an hr but it varies for everyone but they play good music so time flies. Their artist are knowledgeable about their jobs and take their time to prepare ur design before inking it. Second skin wrap is optional for additional $20 but its worth the cost. Heals ur tatoo faster n better. read more

I had a consultation on a Monday and decided to go forward on the Thursday. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the studio and I didn't feel at all uncomfortable. I have gone to other places and felt very out of place and somewhat judged. Here , the staff keep to themselves and their own clients. I listened to how all customers were treated, they were friendly and professional . My tattoo artist presented me with the artwork, I loved it right away, but it wasn't quite right. We sat down at the computer and tweaked it until it was perfect. Sam is fun, fast and very talented. I highly recommend her! read more

Stay away from all Studios by Body Mods!! Terrible customer service and unprofessional owners, managers, and employees. I wanted to purchase art work in their store. Spent hours calling and driving to all their other stores to confirm art and pricing. Called and emailed before driving to their main Fleetwood store to pick up art. Was quoted $90 and after driving 1.5 hours to the store, was told it was a mistake by their employee, and the price was $280. Asked them to honour their original quote of $90 since it was their mistake and I drove all the way there, and they said no. Emailed head office to tell them of the trouble and they told me the owner offered the art for $150, which was their "cost." I provided them with an email from their employee admitting to her mistake and they acknowledged it. I refused their $150 and asked for the original quote of $90, even though I would have to drive back there again. Never heard back from them. They're a ripoff making ridiculous profits from their art work, which is cheap looking and on stretched canvas. I'd rather drive further and spend more money at another store with professional owners and employees who honour their quotes, even if it's a mistake by their employees, and conduct good business practices. read more

Went to have my nose ring put back in after a MRI of my head. The girl manhandled my jewelry and now my solid gold nose ring is F**ked. She bent it completely out of shape and didn't even line up the ring with the ball. I should have said something when I saw how wide she opened it up, completely unnecessary and have never had a professional bend and twist it so much. They also charged me $25 to ruin my jewelry. I was charged the max price just to put my own nose ring in. They didn't even take it out. Not sure why I wasn't charged $10. I specifically went to professionals so the integrity of my jewelry wouldn't be jeopardized. Will be contacting management to see if I can have my jewelry replaced. read more

To have only less than 20 minutes of work done and be charged an hour senior rate. And not a single apology or thank you for waiting an hour passed the already delayed time to even be seen. Went in to get my first piercing and it went amazing. Chelsea is extremely professional and a great person to talk to. She was very understandable during the consultation and perfectly explained everything. With all the sketchy piercing parlors there are finding a good place to go can be hard. I went to The Studio by Bodymod after being referred by a friend. I made an appointment at 5 p.m. I walked in at 4:50 and the tattoo artist Kristina advised me that she was actually running late and had been running behind all day which would have been helpful information more that 10 minutes before the appointment. This was my first tattoo and I was disappointed but let her know that I really wanted to get it done that day and I would wait. I understand that things run late and not everything goes to plan. Her receptionist advised me that she would give me a call in a half hour and let me know where she was at. She did not call so I called them back, and to my disappointment said that they cannot take me and that they close at 6. It was extremely disappointing and very unprofessional. I have now booked to have my tattoo done by another studio. read more

If I could give this 0/5 I would. This shop is horrible, including management. One of the tattoo artists at BodyMods named Jamieson kept making sexual comments towards me which made me feel insanely uncomfortable (I'm 19 and he is over 40). On top of that, he claims he does "fine line" and "japanese tattoo" but it is far from that. I was getting a tattoo from him and the lines and everything about the tattoo was wonky and flawed. I did point it out to him because I was so unhappy and he kept saying that the "shading will cover it". I spoke to PROFESSIONAL artists after this and they said themselves no PROFESSIONAL artist will cover up flaws with shading or colour because there should be no flaws to begin with. He also booked me the day after my second 8 hour session, which made my skin start rejecting the ink, which should never happen with any PROFESSIONAL tattoo artist. I decided to contact the owner and tell him about how Jamieson makes me feel uncomfortable and how unprofessional the tattoo is. Right after contacting the owner, Jamieson blocks me and denies to the owner he said or did anything wrong. The owner also takes the side of Jamieson. Now I'm left with a nightmare tattoo that I need to get removed and pay twice the price of what I paid for this nightmare tattoo.
