They don't have a Japanese head massage, it's their version of that, Which is fastly different. I booked a massage after the head spa a, requesting a female masseuse. A woman who seemed to be in charge told me no, that "the male is very, very good, you like him." Why ask my preference if you arent going to give the choice? They close the door for me to prepare for the massage and lay on the table, which I did. Then the door was obviously locked because the male was shaking the door handle as if he was trying to pull it off the door and yelling "it's locked". Obviously. So I had to get up and get dressed while he's still pulling on the door handle, yelling. I was no longer relaxed and was totally annoyed by the whole situation. The same woman who didn't give me my choice, followed me to the door as I told her I wasn't getting the massage. She said "I'll give you a female I'll give you a female" She then only spoke Korean to all of the other employees standing around, I anssume explaining what had happened. She said she'd give me a free 30 min massage and handed me 2 packs of hand moisturizer, which I didn't take. It was so unprofessional and creepy, I will definitely never go back.

There's a nice Mountain View. There are beverages available for purchase at the front desk. Overall, I thought it was an ok experience and the warm soak was good for my aching muscles.

Relax and go to your tub Cold plunge treatments are so good for your body. They are a little uncomfortable your first time. Had the hot rocks added and it was worth it. A little pricy for sure but the value was there. The ugly: The massage started out fine - other than the therapist stating that he didn't care for/about the aromatherapy products they offer as part of the massage. Like, okay. Let's do something anyway! He kept scratching my neck with his fingernail. Then he eased off my calf after I said ouch, but I said I think we can finish with that leg, but he kept going. Definitely going to bruise. His motions were abrupt from the beginning, but got increasingly rushed and anxious. His massage was rushed and fast. Moving around the room, he was opening drawers hard and sitting down hard. By the end, I asked if he wouldn't mind slowing down as he was rubbing my next and it was making me anxious he was going so fast! I'm not an anxious person. I thought I could maybe relax the stressful massage off in the steam room, but as I mentioned above, it was off. The real ugly: The final insult to injury - 18% service charge plus gratuity. Total cost - $323 for just barely 80 minutes of a sometimes painful, ultimately stressful massage. The front desk was uninterested in my experience. I hate leaving bad reviews, but save your money massage and/or spa lovers!

Great place to unwind and relax with a good companion. the check-in process was kinda slow,…read moreconsidering that we were the only people there. You're asked to arrive 30 minutes early, and we sat around the entire 30 minutes, then finally they walked us through the how-to of it all. the staff is really friendly and the place is clean and well appointed. it was a nice experience, but very indulgent. i don't believe the price is worth it, esp at $1/ounce on the beer & the 90-minute time limit in the room, when one wants to bounce around from sauna to cold shower to hot tub (not necessarily in that order), etc. plus time for dressing and undressing. the anti-gravity massage chairs are also an extra add-on, which i find a bit extreme. overall, we enjoyed ourselves and disappearing from the outside world was rather nice, but it's definitely a one-off, or an annual experience at best. Checking out was equally slow. The host was giving a lady a demonstration on the beer bar and he could have kindly asked to be excused to check us out, but instead he let us sit for over 15 minutes as he gave the gal samples.

I am very much a spa girly and this is one of the most unique spa experiences I have ever…read moreencountered. From the moment you enter the spa, it smells like pure relaxation. As lovely as the common area and patio are, it belies the relaxation that awaits in your private spa room. Before you are escorted to your room, you are offered your choice of locally made beer (My favorite was the "beer flavored beer", which tasted like.... Beer), as well as wine, kombucha, juice, or seltzer water. The drinks are served in a stainless steel insulated tumbler so you don't have to worry about breaks or spills. There are also complimentary snacks available including banana chips and an absolutely delicious savory trail mix. There's also a bathtub full of plastic "bubbles" (think 'grown-up ball pit', but a bathtub) in the common area which invites you to take your most Instagrammable shot. The spa even has a monthly competition for the best photo submission. I appreciate the intentionality with which this spa was designed. Truly they thought of (almost) everything: Hair ties, shower caps, hair dryers, plastic bags for wet clothes, their beer infused shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion offered both in the private room as well as in the common areas, a pitcher of water on the edge of the tub (Because one cannot live off of beer alone).... Even conversation cards containing thought provoking questions placed strategically throughout the facility (Even in your private infrared spa). This is not just an opportunity to relax, but to deepen connection. I came here with one of my friends and in addition to feeling infinitely more relaxed, I left here feeling like my friend and I got to know each other on a much more substantive and meaningful level as a result of this experience. Now before you ask... No, you are not soaking in a tub full of beer. (That was my initial concern, and I almost passed on visiting this spa because of said concern). Instead, you are soaking in a deep stainless steel soaking tub that is full of water and infused with your choice of herbs and aromatics. The room also comes with a CBD infused bath bomb, as well as a CBD and mushroom infused mud mask for extra relaxation and detoxification. The water temperature was absolutely perfect: Nice and steamy but not too hot. The soaking experience was simply not long enough... Which is not a slight to the staff or the facility at all. Just a testament to how relaxing the experience is. I could have stayed there soaking all day without a care in the world. Once we reached the end of our soaking experience, the tub started to automatically drain on its own. We used that time to shower, moisturize, and proceed to the next part of our spa experience... The massage room. The room is dark with small twinkling lights on the ceiling that kinda look like stars and the night sky. There are several zero-gravity massage chairs in the room, but do not be mistaken... These are NOT your run-of-the-mill nail salon pedicure spa chairs. These massage chairs mean business! Even on the lowest setting, my muscles were still sore for several days afterwards because that kneading function gets all up in those muscle fibers. Several times I found myself breathing through the massage like I was having contractions... Especially as those rollers made repeated passes over my lower back. It was definitely the most thorough and intense chair massage I have ever received. Each of the staff members we encountered was absolutely wonderful; Friendly and welcoming, answered all of our questions, gave us plenty of time to take pictures and video to capture the moment and really make the most of the spa experience. Our drinks were never empty and our every need was provided for. The only piece of feedback I have to offer is that it would be great if there were swimsuit dryer spinner on site. I was flying back home immediately after my spa experience and I had to bring my sopping wet swimsuit back with me. I double bagged it to make sure it didn't leak all over the place, but it would have been great to dry it out a bit before putting it back in my suitcase. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's likely the most unique spa experience you will ever have... Even if you are not a beer enthusiast.
