I hate to leave bad reviews. I'd leave zero stars if I could. Please find an Etsy shop or someone else to fulfill your needs. It's been 3 months since I initially inquired and sent my artwork for garment woven labels. The Studio never follows up as they say they will. Each time I have interacted with this company, I had to call them, sometimes serval times a day after they failed to return my call when they said they would. After giving them ample time to respond to my requests I have finally decided to take my business to a small shop owner on Etsy who actually values my business with them. I'm sure there's reasonings behind The Studio's terrible communication but as a customer, those issues should not impede your ability to follow up and deliver. I ordered patches early November. I was working with Sylvia. We spoke Nov 9 and I approved a design after back and forth (they said I needed to adjust to a woven patch, no big deal) they made the adjustment and I specifically asked if there was anything I needed to do. We had an event for the company on Dec 10 that I needed the patches a few days in advance for. She assured me they would be started and my arrival was set Dec4-8. Pretty close to the day I needed them but I was happy I would at least have them. I checked the website multiple times to check on the status and the portal is super ambiguous and leads you to believe they are in production. So, after not receiving them I reached out Dec 4 JUST to check. Lo and behold they weren't started yet and I hadn't even received an email or a phone call. They then tell me they will expedite and I finally get a request for approval late Friday (they would now be too late no matter what). I emailed in a request to adjust - lets be clear, the original mock up was fine since we needed them quickly but we just got an updated logo from our website designer so I emailed requesting to use it. No response. This morning (Monday) I get an email asking me to approve the design. it hasn't changed since nov 9.... NOVEMBER 9. At this point we will be lucky to get our patches in January. I also had issues using the chat feature where an agent just stopped responding to me. I waited 25 min for a response before I called in. I spoke to a rep (didn't get her name) and she promised me she would have Sylvia call me after Sylvia was back from her lunch. No call for 24 hours. So I call first thing in the morning the next day and at 8am I talked to Joy, she also assured me that Sylvia would call me "definitely by 9:30am, she starts at 9 and I need to go over it with her then she will call" so at 1:30PM I still didn't have a call and decided to reach out AGAIN. I still have yet to speak to Sylvia, instead I get an email assuring me she's on top of it. It's been anything but great working with the studio, I see lots of negative reviews here- just wish I had read these first. read more

I used this company 9 times and 8 times were totally great but this last time was absolutely terrible. I approved my patch mock up only to receive a product that did not match the mock-up I approved. I paid $169.60 for patches that don't look like what I expected, in fact, the little patch I made has a freaking nub between its legs which looks like a straight up penis. The compensation they offered me? $34. That's it. I've been getting calls and emails about my "patch redo" but I don't want a redo, I want a reFUND! Never will I work with them again. Getting my credit card involved and BBB to hopefully get my money back. read more

Terrible company. I mean, the artists and designers are solid people and they are responsive. However, they use a terrible factory in China to produce their products and I am left with 50 Challenge Coins made of cheap tin or aluminum which I wouldn't give to anyone, and I could lose my job over how awful they are. Absolutely the worst company. They wouldn't deliver a visual proof of my company logo, for which they took nearly $300. So I asked for a refund back in September. They finally agreed to refund in October. But they didn't. So I asked again in November. They agreed in December... and ditto for January. Now it will be February. Since August 2021 I have placed over 60 orders. Since November 2022 I have placed 9. Of those 2 had to be cancelled, bringing the total of cancelled orders to 4. (And I had to fight to receive refunds, often having to place the charges in dispute.) Since November I have experience significant problems with the design and production departments. Each time they told me a patch couldn't be made, I sent it to another company where it was made without problems. When they do make a patch, the quality has been great. But it's not worth the frustration to do business with them further. read more

DISCOUNT IS A SCAM, COMPANY IS SLOW, BAD QUALITY WORK The discount is always at at least 40%. This is a ploy the company uses to get more sales. Sometimes it does jump to 50% but realize you are really just getting a 10% discount on jacked up prices they have slapped a "discount" on. I've ordered multiple products from this company. I'd say 50 percent have had issues. For example, I ordered socks with a "custom cuff" that I paid an extra amount of money for (around 90 if remember correctly). The proceeded to tell me that the cuff option wasn't possible with my design, but did not refund me the money back. It took me a lot of calls to get that refund. The socks also arrived and are completely unusable. They say since I didn't do a proof (which I didn't do because the order was so slow at this point after both holidays for the worker and their messing up simple instructions). The dark thread is very visible under the light knit areas of the socks. I have wasted hundreds of dollars with this company. Do not make my mistake. P.s. Went to order masks from The/Studio. Their website advertised "Get up to 30% OFF on all products." After going through to the end of the ordering process for masks, I realized no discount had been applied to my order. So I asked their support staff. They escalated me to another support person. After a bit of back and forth, the second-level support told me that masks were not included in the offer. So I asked to see the exclusion list on their website. I was told they don't have "such a document." After a bit more back and forth, the support person told me a manager would call me "in 5 minutes." 20 hours later I contacted their support people again and asked about that call from the manager. The manager called about 30 minutes later and told me more about how even though masks were part of their "products", they are not part of their "core products"; and thus, were not eligible for any discounts. At the end of the day I decided not to place the order since I can get the masks slightly cheaper from elsewhere without the misleading advertising. read more

The items generated for approval (only an imagine was provided) looked very low quality. they have a $100 non refundable deposit if you start working with them, and they do not tell you this up front. the claim it's in their terms and conditions but never clearly state that. Set up an order with a PO which they agreed because our entity met their qualifications for a PO. Then they sent me an email saying the wouldn't start production without payment even with the PO. I do not think they understand how a PO works. cancelled order and am going with someone who actually knows how to do a purchase order. read more

I made the mistake of trying to order through The/Studio, since I have been a loyal customer since 2018. However, this time was a complete nightmare. I requested edits to my proof. Received no updated proof. The next day, I inquired about this. No one would respond. They would answer the "LIVE CHAT", but then just completely ghost when asked what is going on. I had to use a fake name and email address to get someone to actually talk to me on the live chat. Once they figured out it was me, I was transferred to "customer service" for the 3rd time. Customer service assured me they would send an email explanation of what was going on, but that did not happen. On day 3, I sat on the live chat for over an hour waiting for a response. GHOSTED again. Requested a refund on the live chat, nothing. Finally got in touch with someone in customer service, on day 4, and was told I would get a revised proof within 2 hours. NOTHING. Requested refund again, nothing. Day 5, live chat, no help. Called the number and someone answered like it was their house phone. I asked what's going on. Was given 1,000 explanations about samples and mocks up and blah blah blah. None of which negates the fact that I was promised a proof, twice, and never received one. Sent an email for a refund. Nothing. I was delayed 5 days of production, due to their negligence and lack of care for customers. I went back to the live chat, requested to be transferred to customer service to cancel the order & receive a refund, for the 4th time. They straight up disconnected from the chat. I sent an email to customer service to request a refund, but now when I login to my account, it shows that I approved the order, when I never approved the order. My last activity on the site was requesting edits to my proof, which did not come after 5 days. I can't handle how they deal with loyal customers, the run around, and the complete lack of communication, not to mention the fact that they hang up on their customers. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. I will be filing fraud with my credit card company immediately. ***I realize my messages were not the nicest, but this was day 5 of being ignored/ghosted on the chat and spending 20+ minutes waiting for a response 3x a day. read more

I decided to go with them because they changed their turn around time when I told them my original quote could only promise a later date. Customer service was fine initially. The process for landing on a final design includes me sending my digital artwork, their designer suggesting any edits, customer can make specific notes to the designer, decline or approve the mock-up. Nothing goes forward until customer approves a mock-up. For my situation, I submitted artwork that had already been approved by a different label production company in LA, but I ended up going to TS for a faster turn around. It is a woven label with brand name (line one) then a second line of smaller size font, simple stylized spacing, of the website. After my initial submission, they revised it saying the second line might be too small. They what they gave me was completely different font, zero lead between letters. I declined asking for something closer to the original, if not the original, and that I would be willing to risk letters that were too small to read. I'm response, they sent my original artwork to be approved and again stated that it is possible that anything too small could result in being illegible. I was fine with the risk. I received the box of 500 labels yesterday and you can see in the photos the difference between the approved mock-up to what was produced and sent to me. I kindly call to let them know that it must have been a mistake, but they emailed me back today saying that because we decided to skip the physical mock-up approval, I can't hold them responsible for what comes to me. I asked what about the approval process I took the time to do? I haven't gotten a reply. I would only agree to this, If they hadn't ignored my explicit declining of this very design that they went ahead and produced and sent to me. I don't quite understand how or why they would send me my original mock-up (with the disclaimer that I was willing to risk that it wouldn't be clear,) but then totally ignore that to send me what I declined? Then say they aren't responsible? It feels sort of unprofessional. read more

I could not recommend this company less. Honestly, they have the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. The initial $300 of patches I received did not resemble the mockups they created. Then when I reached out for corrections, their company charged charged an additional $100 to make them. We agreed upon a design, which they said they could produce. Then came back to me more than a month later saying they could not produce the design as we agreed. At this point, they still have not produced the patches even after I consented to the further amendments they suggested. Instead they have twice gone several weeks over the timelines they provided me. I have had dozens of exchanges with their service department, with no continuity between them. Instead they switch constantly, so there is no accountability. Altogether, this process has taken more than 5 months and about $400. And all I've gotten are a few unusable patches. So yeah... would avoid them. read more

II got taken advantage of making a poor choice of choosing them instead of locals and felt compelled to share it publicly so it doesn't happen to you if you're reading this. I'm hoping The/Studio works harder to turn over quality work. We will see and I'll edit this. I understand there must be a language issue between the designers and the factory as the revisions are off. It has been a month now back and forth and a couple of days before Christmas they sent a photo of the same old mistakes and they tried to hide some making a bumpy patch. I am convinced that the "5 star reviews" that are shown in the ad on google are from a click farm or are just a total lie. The Studio is overpriced, slow, lacks attention to detail, and will not keep you updated on their work. While TDY we ordered patches for our class ($200) and paid $60 extra for rushed delivery so we could recieve them before we deployed/went back to home stations the studio failed to even ship our order before the ARRIVAL DATE listed on the order with rushed delivery. As a result they would have to be shipped to my home so i could ship them individually. Customer service said they updated the shipping address. They were still delivered to the first location. So now i have to pay more money out of pocket to even get the patches and send them to my friends because of The Studios constant blunders. Stay the absolute fuck away from this company. read more

They are literally ghosting me When I ordered my first set of patches, I wasn't thrilled by the quality of the iron-on backing, but I did love their customer service. The order took a while, but they were very attentive the entire way through. Seeing as though I was pleased enough, I ordered with them again. I cannot be more unhappy. I received the patches well after my arrival date for a slue of errors all on the side of The Studio (they messed up my order, promised to rush ship it. Had several employees call me and lie to my face that they shipped it already/would overnight it - knowing full well they couldn't and then on top that when they FINALLY shipped it (after the date they promised me it would be delivered) they shipped it to CANADA by accident. I live in Philadelphia. At this point, I am beyond upset with their neglect and lack of customer service/care. Each and every time a contact The Studio through chat, I am told that the situation has been escalated and that I will receive a call. Previously when I needed a phone call, I would receive one within 10-15 minutes. Now I can't get a hold of anyone whatsoever. My email contact forms have been ignored as well. I was told I would receive a refund from 3 different employees, and this was over memorial day weekend in May (now July 15th). I am completely appalled by the abysmal service, or lack thereof. read more

When I try to contact someone to resolve it we go through a constant back and forth because they are obviously calling during business hours on the other side of the world. It's impossible to get a hold of customer service. I had put in a request back in March, but was unhappy with the proof I received so I canceled the order. Now, 6 months later, I'm getting NON-STOP emails about this order that I canceled with a new proof that was actually what I wanted. I tried to get a hold of customer service via email, facebook, and phone to remind them that this order was canceled so they will stop emailing me to approve the order so they can charge my card. I have had the worst time with this company on patch production. They are extremely cheap, but their product is sub-par. Don't let the address above fool you. They are completely located in the Philippines. I was dumb enough to try them twice mainly because of the price. However, trust me when I tell you that it's not worth it. I gave them over a month to get my patches produced and to me on time, along with a completed graphic in both PNG and vector format. All they needed to do was to print and produce, yet they still couldn't do that on time. Now, six weeks after this project began, the patches still aren't even to the production stage and my event is next weekend (in six days from this writing). My advice to all of you is this - pay more elsewhere. Your peace of mind will be well worth it. I'm allowing an extra star, since their final product isn't that shabby. That when they can finally get it done. If they, by some miracle, get the patches to me in five days, I'll update my rating. Update on 7/02/2018: I tried calling them this morning. All three of their phone numbers aren't working. I also went to their website to login on to my account with them. The login screen no longer exists. So, I went to an email that links me directly to that specific product in my account. The page no longer exists. It looks like I'll have to call my bank and dispute this charge. I don't know if they changed owners but I've ordered through them before a lot and never had a problem they were always able to work with me on a fair price but sometime during the pandemic they got greedy for money and is trying to squeeze every dollar they can. They quoted me on 1 price and then raised it on me when it was time to charge my card even after i verified the price with them and they even told me that was the price and it wasn't going to change and then last second added a "tax" charge on me even after 30 seconds before telling me that it was my total making it seem like "tax" was already included. Their support rep on the phone Nina even started laughing at me after I was showing my frustration. I'm sure their greed is going to make them lose more customers then gain and hope they change. Especially when people start realizing that their just a middle man and don't even make the products themselves. People don't forget bad attitudes and feeling like their being scammed. read more

After I submitted my logo to The/Studio for an order of enamel pins, I started receiving e-mails telling me that my registered trademark was "refused" in one of the countries I had already registered it (I'll leave you to guess which one). Of course, the language of the e-mails was totally bogus (and full of grammar errors), as were the "official documents" attached to these e-mails. So, I'm posting this review to warn others: It appears to me that the production factories used by The/Studio may attempt to steal your logo/artwork/graphic design if they think it has commercial value. And if you've already registered your trademark in the country of production (like I did), they'll contact you to tell you that your registered trademark has now been "refused" in that country. Of course, The/Studio would also want to know that one of its customers had this very unfortunate experience after submitting a registered logo trademark through its website, perhaps in order to do what it can to help combat this very real and very persistent problem. read more
