So first off I haven't had a breakfast this fresh and satisfying in a long time. I got an egg scramble on rye that had bacon, tomato, avocado and sausage on the special board and the first bite blew me away! I was going to get the eggs Benedict special and I am so glad I didn't because this satisfied a bodily need deep within me. A perfect blending of flavors on rye everything accentuating everything else. My girlfriend did go eggs Benedict and she wasn't disappointed. I had some myself and it was delicious. Not much for using yelp but felt the need today. Came for lunch for the first time. Everyone was very friendly and kept everything clean for us to feel super comfortable coming here for our first time dining out since Covid. I started with the New England clam chowder which tasted amazing. We split mozz sticks, the flavor and seasonings in the crust for the sticks were spot on. I ended up with the special a shrimp po boy. Loved the homemade sauce on them and that the bun was toasted. Shrimp were clearly very fresh and were perfectly cooked. My husband had a rueben and ate all it loving how thin the corn beef was sliced and the amount of flavor. We will be returning and we recommend this place to others as well. Wow. Words simply can't describe the wonderful experience we had at The Stuffed Rooster in Latham, NY. After a long couple of days of traveling and work, we stopped by The Stuffed Rooster for a bite to eat on our way back to the Albany airport. The staff there was AMAZING -- so kind, helpful, and patient with us as four out-of-towners tried to decide what we wanted to eat. We were not disappointed with our choices. My all-time favorite hot sandwich is the Cuban, so I was excited to see it on the menu. Oh. My. Sandwich. One of the best Cubans I've had in a very long time. And the house-made BBQ flavored chips? If you haven't checked out this new spot then you're really missing out! It's a little tucked away but if you're driving on Troy-Schenectady Rd then you must stop and grab a bite! The owner buys only the freshest of fresh ingredients and makes everything daily. She also does daily specials, to-go dinners and a HUGE menu to pick from. I ordered my sandwich online and gave the restaurant 30 minutes before I arrived to pick it up. My order had been ignored. The blonde woman at the register informed me "We don't guarantee that your order will be ready when you arrive to pick it up." My response "I'm going to be late getting back to work, that's why I ordered ahead, but lesson learned". I waited another 15 minutesd for my sandwich. While my sandwich was actually pretty good. There is a limit to how much time I can spend waiting for it. The food was standard, nothing special. But the reason I'm giving it only one star was the service. From the time I ordered to the ​food was placed in front of me was over 45 minutes. It was only two sandwiches​, one being just a grilled cheese. In that amount of time I could have gone to the market, get​ the ingredients​ and make the sandwiches​ myself and taste just as good if not better. Perhaps it was an unusually​ busy day but the place was far from capacity. I've had poor experiences​ eating out before but this was so bad that it motived me to write my first review. read more

The food is delicious so I've visited many times; however, until they figure out how to actually get the food to the costumer in less than an hour I will not be returning. They clearly haven't figured out how to run the restaurant as well as they have perfected the recipes. Very disappointing to wait 25 minutes for a scoop of chicken salad in a to go container. Everything here is made to order and fresh. The sandwiches are large without being sloppy gross and are served on fresh bread or rolls. The salads are crisp and delicious. Great little deli/cafe tucked away at the end of a strip mall off of route 7. It serves breakfast sandwiches all day, wonderful home made soups and a variety of sandwiches. i went here more than a half dozen times or more and my fiance has been going here for a couple years. the food is great but i have no idea what is with the attitude of the woman and gentleman who run this place but they are extremely rude people. every time we have gone there the woman has had something negative to say to us. whether it be where we sit how we placed our order or to do things one way one time then tell us no the next we need to do things this way. once we are given our food no one ever came back to check on us to see if we needed anything else. so the other day when i was in she told me i can't order a table anymore the way i do it and the way i do it is the way i was told to. so that was my final straw i ask them to cancel my order and refund me. they processed my order as if i had picked it up....not nice people and it's a shame for their business. i hope they treat all of their customers this rudely!! read more
