Hit or Miss This is in the neighborhood and I do love having a place my husband and I can walk to to have a few drinks and a meal. But our experience has been really hit or miss. We've had great service, we've had "do we even have a waitress or did she go home?" service. We've had fabulous food -the cheese curds are amazing and we always love the fries - but we've also had "these wings are raw inside" and a few "uhhh, this isn't what we ordered." In a nutshell, when they're good, they're really good and when they're bad, they're a mess. We'll keep risking it because it's close, convenient, and the good has largely outweighed the bad. read more

Dan and I broke out of our $5 burger and fries rut. We got Ruben sandwiches. They make a mighty mean Ruben. Quality corned beef and sauerkraut on rye. The rye bread was grilled with what tasted like butter. It was melt in your mouth good. Today was Taco Tuesday. I asked if they had brought the street tacos back. They hadn't. They now offer 4 hard shell tacos for $5. That didn't sound good, so we opted for sandwiches. The cook let us try a taco. Oh my goodness! I didn't know a hard shell taco could taste so good. First, the taco shell was lighter and thinner than most. It was so much better than the thick dry hard taco shells. It was delicious. After I got past the surprise of the thinner taco shell, I noticed delightfully flavored meat. Oran, the cook, told us he flavors the meat with fajita seasoning and pineapple juice. I was surprised about the pineapple juice. He used to work for Celebrity Club. One of the things that makes him such an outstanding cook is that he grew up in Jamaica and sometimes incorporates what he learned in Jamaica into his dishes. Next time we go there, we are going to split a taco plate and an appetizer or side dish. The fried green beans sound good. read more

WARNING BEWARE! Watch Out for your credit card statement. I wrote in tip and total on my receipt and signed it. After receiving my bank statement, I noticed I was charged around 3 times what I actually paid for. I went back in and was told manager would fix it and to message her on messenger. I did not even get a response. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and still no response (it is still open, but has been more than a month and a half). WATCH OUT FOR POSSIBLE FRAUDULENT CHARGES!!! read more

I love coming here. Great spacious patio and sometimes they have some pretty good bands. The draft beer always seems to taste flat and skunky. Staff are friendly but poorly trained. They don't know what draft beers are available and they don't have a beer list available for customers. Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. They are illegally charging for water and not telling people. You order food, drinks. You ask for water and they don't tell you but they are charging you for it. $2 plus tax. They own Pjs bar and grill also and they charge the same for water. read more

The service to the patio was a bit slow, but the drinks were delicious and the waitress was friendly. I appreciated her memory and attention to detail. I didn't eat a meal, just picked on some appetizers at the table and they were fine. I don't know that the food would be enough to convince me to come back, but the outdoor seating was beautiful and would be a great place to spend time with friends. read more

I work behind SM and my office is always ordering food from them. They're always quick and have some of the best tasting bar food that there is around Tulsa. I've had their salads, tacos and their Ruben. The street tacos are better than even taco trucks in Tulsa (I know that's a bold comment, but it's true) and their Ruben is crazy tasty. 10/10 recommend! read more

We were not eating it and took an Uber so we did not have anywhere to put it! Not worth making your customers mad! We were told we could not have it there by our waitress! First time, last time. The waitress was friendly...but the mixed drinks (I ordered 2) are lacking in alcohol. Watered down and not that good. I decided to play some music on TouchTunes, spent 6 dollars and barely could hear it. Then she came over during the first song and told me that she was going to turn the music off, so the guys could hear the baseball game. Not one guy was watching the game...they were drinking and then left. We got a trio appetizer with Pulled pork fries, potstickers, and pretzels. The pretzels with beer cheese were okay. The sauce for the potstickers was good. The pulled pork had a HUGE chunk of fat covered in cheese dip. Really disappointing. We were going to buy a shirt. read more

This place is AMAZING and their staff is AMAZING as well. I called a few weeks ago to let them know that the Jenks class of '99 were going to be coming in to have drinks and they were so accommodating. They brought in extra staff to make sure that nobody's drinks were dry and all of our servers were absolutely amazing and nice and pleasant. Jordan was so helpful and accommodating and was "on the ball", the entire night. Thank all of you for making us feel so comfortable and I will definitely be back very soon! Now it's not that I don't recommend this bar, the foods great, prices are awesome, and it truly is a hidden gem. But this experience baffled me. I use to work here so I know how it gets around happy hour time. But this was completely unacceptable. We walked in and sat at a table, no acknowledgement, no "be with you in a sec" nothing. After 15 minutes of watching the bartender serve every regular including a table of regulars that walked in after us, we went up to the bar and asked for a menu. The bartender said "what can I get you". We asked again for a menu and before we could finish talking she says "I'm the only one here and I don't have a drink menu" attitude and no smile. So we asked again for a FOOD menu, with a scowl she threw them on the bar top and walked away. Another 15 minutes go by and she doesn't ask us what we would like to eat or drink but has delivered drinks to two more tables of regulars. Again I use to work here and know who they all are. So after watching her attend patio and everyone else, I ordered at the bar. I asked if the mango, was the only sour/fruit beer they had, since the Sierra Nevada wild cherry was displayed on a big poster I hoped they had that, but no. So we got something, couldn't tell you the name or anything about it but she just poured it and gave it to and me walked away, still have no idea what I'm drinking. Regulars are important to business I totally get that but acknowledgment, a smile, and a decent attitude goes a LONG way. I'm patient and know the business but this was rough. Cool place, horrible service. We ordered two beers and saw them ready at the bar forever but the waitress was too busy playing grabass with a table of her friends and staring into her phone to deliver them to us, so my husband actually went to get them. We finished them and she still hadn't come back to take our order for food, so he went up to the bar to pay. The bartender asked if we would stay if he gave us another beer on the house and the hubby said "no, I'm hungry and she's too playing busy on her phone so we we are are going somewhere that we can get served". We waited over 10 minutes for service. Once we did catch the eye of a waitress, she said "you're not in my section," but didn't think to tell another waitress to head our way. Finally, we got the attention of another waitress (nice enough young lady), but she didn't seem to even know the drink menu. Went to the Monkey for lunch Friday. A group of 6 to 8 of us go there once a week & have been for about 6 months. We always sit on the patio, have lunch & play cornhole. Today the waitress/bartender wouldn't come outside to take our orders. She said it was too cold. FYI the temp was around 65 & the sun was shining. She had a top & a sweater on & we were all in short sleeve shirts. So we left & found somewhere else for lunch. Apparently our business has no value. I realize in the grand scheme of things, losing maybe $200 in sales & $30-40 in tips every week is no big deal for most businesses, but with this type of service, I would recommend looking for other lunch options. read more

Literally the most disgusting staff i have ever encountered. I walked inside from the putside patio to turn in mt cups to be a good citizen and customer and not leave my cups literally to be kind and this bartender grabs our cups and says."thank you thank you." So rudely luke she must have been seriously on one, she basically assaults me how violent she was. Of course course leave politely but to just know this is what happens to people and this is how people are treated disgusts me and i had to take a stand And say my piece to the dark haired girl with braces... The staff is awesome. They're always quick. Beer selection is decent. Food is average. Don't order shots, they'll give you a few drops of spirits (this only changed when new ownership took over and renamed it from "Jameson's") It's a fine place to get a few drinks after works. Went for the super bowl. First time in there. Sat down and was greeted nicely. Ordered a Guinness and some of the chicken jerk lettuce wraps. It was awesome. Some friends had some wings and nachos as well. All were delicious. The back patio was great with plenty of seating and a big tv and all the staff was as well. Will pull your drinks out of your hand 20 minutes before close because the bartenders are lazy and trying to go home even though it's their job and they're supposedly open "until 2:00" staff is extremely rude and confrontational, could care less about return business even after tipping more than 20%. This single star is solely for our outdoor waitress, Maddie. Without her, my family would have walked out as soon as we walked in. For the past three weeks, I have had a standing reservation for 9/19 @8pm for my mom's 60th birthday party. This reservation was followed up on and confirmed on the 17th. As we walk in and inquire about our reservation we are that there are no reservations for tonight with an attitude that was less than desirable. We luckily snagged a table that all 11 of us tried to squeeze into. Then came the most frustrating thing of the night, trying to get drinks. I have never seen so many people frustrated trying to give a bar money. On more instances than I can count we had people in our party go inside to grab drinks, get ignored for 10 minutes, and then walked out empty-handed. On one of those instances, we heard the bartender say "I hope they never take fucking reservations again. I wish all the people on the patio would fucking leave." It was at this time that Maddie saved the day and we were able to salvage what was left of the night. read more

Nope! you get one chance and that's it, waited for some one to acknowledge our presence, nope that did happen had to go to the bar and ask for beer, then went to patio sat there for some time finally some girl came by said she always forgets people are outside and hates day light, then goes to next table comes back out with drinks for that table never comes back to our table, No drinks No menus...crickets, If I wanted to serve myself I would have stayed on my couch and went to the fridge and got it my self. Had to go back inside to pay she never returned, Could have easily left without paying no one would have ever missed it. It wasn't bad service, It was NO service. we were prepared to drink, and eat. Literally never going back here. Band was wonderful, sound system sucked. Disgrace to the band if you ask me. We ordered two drinks and two entrees, about $60 with tip which isn't bad as far as prices. My issue is that even after ordering all of this I asked for a glass of water and was brought a bottle of water. The waitress tells me she can't bring me a glass of water because it requires they use their signature cups. I asked for a glass again and she said her manager wouldn't let her give me water in a glass with ice without charging and my only choice for water at this place was a plastic bottled water. Why in the world would you do this to someone spending $60 at your restaurant? That tells me literally everything I need to know about the culture of this management. I would absolutely understand not giving us free water if we weren't getting any food or drinks but since we were already paying customers I consider this disrespectful of our patronage. Water should be free no questions asked. In addition to that, it took a long time to even be greeted after sitting at the bar; the bar tender was very sweet but seemed very overworked and fearful of management, also tells me everything I need to know about how they treat their staff. I was here on a Saturday night. There were 4 waitstaff (2 bartenders and 2 servers). I sat on the patio to listen to live music. While it was busy, it wasn't packed. I opened my tab with the bartender. Ordered a drink that was on the specials drink thing on the table. The bartender didn't know what the drink was so I had to give her the card. Once on the patio I had to wait maybe 30 minutes between ordering another drink and when I got it. The waitress didn't know the special drink either and had to explain it to her also. Also ordered fried ravioli. They were just frozen pre-made. Took almost 30 minutes to get them. I like this patio and location so I'll come back one more time to give it another chance. read more

We were looking for a patio to watch college football and found this place. We dropped in for a snack and a drink and stayed for 2 hours on the patio. Erica waited on us and was great.
