Dan and I broke out of our $5 burger and fries rut. We got Ruben sandwiches. They make a mighty mean Ruben. Quality corned beef and sauerkraut on rye. The rye bread was grilled with what tasted like butter. It was melt in your mouth good. Today was Taco Tuesday. I asked if they had brought the street tacos back. They hadn't. They now offer 4 hard shell tacos for $5. That didn't sound good, so we opted for sandwiches. The cook let us try a taco. Oh my goodness! I didn't know a hard shell taco could taste so good. First, the taco shell was lighter and thinner than most. It was so much better than the thick dry hard taco shells. It was delicious. After I got past the surprise of the thinner taco shell, I noticed delightfully flavored meat. Oran, the cook, told us he flavors the meat with fajita seasoning and pineapple juice. I was surprised about the pineapple juice. He used to work for Celebrity Club. One of the things that makes him such an outstanding cook is that he grew up in Jamaica and sometimes incorporates what he learned in Jamaica into his dishes. Next time we go there, we are going to split a taco plate and an appetizer or side dish. The fried green beans sound good.

Great Happy hour selection and good food. The parking is always difficult, but that looks normal. Went there for a engineering night out a had fun.

This is what a flat beer looks like.

I love coming here. Great spacious patio and sometimes they have some pretty good bands. The draft beer always seems to taste flat and skunky. Staff are friendly but poorly trained. They don't know what draft beers are available and they don't have a beer list available for customers. Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. Despite its shortcomings, I'll be back again.

We had coffee, dinner and drinks last night... but we just weren't ready to call it a night just yet. Knowing a live band was waiting on us, my son and I wandered down to the Stumbling Monkey for a few drinks. The band was awesome. Classic rock mixed with some new jams... totally my wheelhouse. We had one more drink than planned because we were having a great time. Bar staff was awesome as usual. See ya next weekend! Kurt Bachmann, Tulsa Realtor, Berkshire Hathaway

The service to the patio was a bit slow, but the drinks were delicious and the waitress was friendly. I appreciated her memory and attention to detail. I didn't eat a meal, just picked on some appetizers at the table and they were fine. I don't know that the food would be enough to convince me to come back, but the outdoor seating was beautiful and would be a great place to spend time with friends.

They don't allow dogs even leashed outdoors on their patio.... what's the point of having a patio? Bartenders are rude and unfriendly.

Awesome PET FRIENDLY patio. The hamburgers were excellent as were the sweet potato waffle fries and regular fries. We'll be back!

The street tacos are better than even taco trucks in Tulsa (I know that's a bold comment, but it's true) and their Ruben is crazy tasty.

She was managing the floor by herself as the lunch rush had settled down & she made us all feel like we were the only ones in the building. Ordered salads for the table & she made them exactly as requested! Appetizer sampler was on point -- rib tips are a must! Pizza was hot, fresh, and did not disappoint, we ordered a large pepperoni & took home 1/2 of it since we split appetizer & salads. Price point was relative to any other sit-down spot, food was delicious & filled us up, and the service was the best... did I mention, we left with a list of stuff to do while we're in town?? Yes!!! Savastano's is doing things right!!

I appreciate they have thin crust and not just the deep dish because deep dish is not my cup of tea. I decided just to do the all you could eat salad bar. However, it was interesting that you fill out a piece of paper and they make the salad for you. I liked that they made it very pretty and it was unlimited. But because we were a large group it was difficult to get the waiter to come back around and if we wanted another salad, it got a little complicated with having to constantly flag Someone down to help us. Also trying to get refills was challenging. They weren't that busy and yes, we were a large group of 16 people, but I still felt like the waiter should've been more attentive and should've helped us more. The space is upstairs but it's a nice space. The salad was good. Nothing special. I probably won't be back, but this is not my type of food, but I think most people did enjoy what they had.
