Great subs and soup - a family run business - thumbs up! My latest eating adventure in Hudson was The Subhouse. I tried the Zesty Italian Sub and the White Bean Chili with chicken. My food was great! I don't know if it's the quality of the bread, the meats, or and oils...whatever it is, Subhouse sandwiches rock! These guys do it right. When I was there, the owners (a husband & wife team and their daughter) were kicking ass, turning out food. It's nice to see a family owned business. I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again and try another sub. -Daddy Maxx Retro

I just started working in Hudson and when lunchtime arrives I immediately think of this place. Every sandwich I have bought at this establishment is amazing. I try to change it up each time I go in. Plus they have a new sandwich each month. They have so many selections! Great price for the sandwich and for a small upcharge, add a bag of chips. Perfect for lunch everytime I promise you, no disappointment. Every one of the staff are amazing too. Always greet you with a smiling face. If you are in the area, I highly encourage you to check them out.

I've been meaning to stop into this sandwich shop and today was finally the day. I was impressed with their menu options and settled on soup and a sandwich. The prices were good and their menu had so much variety. I got the #1 turkey sandwich with a cup of chicken wild rice soup. I would order both again. The bread reminded me a bit of Jimmy John's. The only surprising thing was they didn't have fountain pop but had a great selection of cans of pop, La Croix and other beverages. I'll be back!

Sandwich was not good, will not be back. Service was fine but may have been the worst sandwich I've ever had.

She made the experience enjoyable and made me feel appreciated as a customer. Customer service like that goes a long way and is something I always notice. I ordered the Carbonara with Hot Chicken, and it was delicious. The flavors worked really well together, and the portion size was good. I also tried the Summer Strawberry drink, which was refreshing and tasted great. There was a small mix-up with my order when bacon was added even though it didn't say it would be included but Josie took care of it right away. She was professional the entire time, handled the situation without any issues, and made sure everything was corrected. I took my food to go, but Josie made the experience so enjoyable that I honestly wish I had stayed and eaten there. It's not often that someone leaves that kind of impression during a quick visit, but she did. Having good food is important, but great customer service is what keeps people coming back. No one was communicating with what needed what and I know they needed to wait for the chicken to cook for some but there was no communication that that's what the hold up was. My pasta was just sitting in the line with no lid (until I paid) so it was cold by the time I got home. There was a girl behind me that got a piada and was all done way before mine but they didn't get her to the register until like five minutes after too. The cook and one of the guys on the line really seemed to be the only two with an urgency about them. I like the good here but dang idk if it'll be worth coming back, during a busy time at least.

I got the breakfast burrito and added crispy cheese... it's probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. It's also MASSIVE. The ambiance is very modern, with smooth tables and an enormous, vaulted ceiling. Service was quick and efficient, with a cash register/ordering station, and a separate pick-up station to the left. Took about ten minutes to prep my burritos. I ate one of them at home, saving a breakfast burrito for later in the week. Delicious carnitas burrito, good salsa. There is parking in back, and some on the side street without paying. The menu appears unique, a mix of traditional and fusion. Prices are in the $15 range for an entree. The restaurant is small, nothing fancy, but pleasant enough, the music in the background not too loud. We started off with cheese curds, which were served in a tall cone. The curds were fantastic, crisp, chewy, and squeaky. We added an order of ranch on the side, and I was really impressed by it; our server said it was house-made, too. For my main dish, I had the chicken enchiladas tacos. Now, I'm from California, and I look at any Midwest takes on Mexican food with a critical eye, but these were really good tacos! My husband had the maple whiskey burger and really enjoyed his meal. I sneaked one of his fries and found it to be delicious. The restaurant was getting really busy about 5:30 as were we needing to pay and leave, so that process was a bit slow, but that is really the only criticism of our stop here. We'd both definitely eat at Common Man again!

I'll start with the positives - the ambiance is excellent and they have a great patio. Our server Simone was friendly and witty and really made our table feel welcomed. What could be better was the quality of some of the food in addition to the amount of time we waited for our food to arrive. After our orders were placed, it took about an hour to receive our food, and the table definitely didn't eat together. Even the appetizers took about 40 minutes to arrive at the table. I thought for what you get, it was insanely pricey. I have never paid close to $20 for a wing appetizer to get an odd number of 5 wings. That's insane. My friend and I planned on splitting that and the patty melt. We are huge patty melt lovers, but this one was bland and nothing good to report. The table did enjoy the shrimp dish. I will admit the bruschetta was darn good, but I wish there was more positives to report with the food. We all stated that we wouldn't pick this place again, but if someone wanted to eat here and suggested it, we would come back, but we would all want to try different things (minus the bruschetta and shrimp dish).
