There was a great selection of lights to darks, and seltzers and sours. My mom even had a tap root beer that was fantastic!! The beer tender talked to me about where the beer came from and even gave recommendations of other places to visit associated with the beers themselves. It was really cool. With the weather being a hot Florida day, I went for a Orange Vanilla Cream Ale that was perfect to quench my thirst. After that, I tried a Foxtail (Ravenous Pig Brewing) coffee blonde ale that had a great amount of coffee flavor. Stopped at this spot on our way home cause we were wanting a nice cold beer and that's exactly what we got. The Oktoberfest was pretty good but the Hawaii Five Ale was a refreshing surprise. Finally checked this place out. We love tasting flights and this place has lots of local beers on tap. Super nice to sample multiple beers. We all got 4 flights and enjoyed them. The beers, ciders and sours are arranged together so you can easily see what you like. Tried a pear cider for the first tine and really liked it. Looking for somewhere to meet my son between Gainesville and Orlando. We wanted to grab a quick lunch in Wildwood (almost exactly halfway between the 2 places) but not many options to choose from. I loved it because they were mostly (if not all) Florida beers. I recognized a few of my favorites like #Playalinda Brewing and some I wasn't aware of. Would be a great place to come back and try new beers. Ordered lunch and a beer. Food was served hot and quickly and the beer was good! Spoke with one of the owners, Simone, who was super friendly and chatty. Love it when the owners are visible and talkative with their customers. I knew they opened at noon, which is weird for a place near The Villages, as so many people go to lunch at 11. There were 10 people waiting when it opened, and you could tell that many were workers in the area, who probably only had 15 minutes to eat once they got their food. Menu, not impressive. I got a half flatbread. It was okay. My friend got a salad, which was okay. She wanted "wings" but they were explained to be like "chicken nuggets". She, fortunately, didn't order them. The whole concept is strange. There were about 4 seats at the bar. I don't think we'll go back. I'm not a craft beer person, I'm not a wine person, yet I find myself drawn to this business again and again. They say first impressions are lasting ones, and Denise proved this true. She gave us the overview of how to read the board describing the currently available brews, and what a great system! I have been able to find a craft brew that checks all my boxes each time I visit. The food is very good, I love the Mezze plate, and the flatbreads are very well done with a variety of options. There are TVs and thankfully not one tuned in to news or politics.
