Nice new little German delicatessen located in downtown Winter Garden. They serve a wide variety of traditional German sandwiches with a twist. They serve some. Ice German beers, one on tap for a cold, tasty draught. German potato salad or other sides complete the meal. Good size portions. Interesting shop. They show German and Premier League football.(soccer) games also. I didn't ask a lot of questions of the gentleman behind the counter, but I took him to be the owner, operator and chief bottle washer. He seemed kind of preoccupied even though there were only a few customers. My turkey sandwich was well constructed with a nice medley of flavors. I would prefer more fresh ingredients and in house roasted meats. That's just my preference and does not deter me from recommending this place. Plentiful portions of tasty food.

Fantastic service, food, and drinks! On a side street in downtown Wintergarden, small area deck decorated with soccer scarfs. Would definitely return, I tried the watermelon mint bier, light drink but tasty. My husband had the draft beer, drink prices are like happy hour prices all the time!!!

Decided to try this German restaurant and deli in downtown Winter Garden today, and it did not disappoint at all. The Das Munchen sandwich was delicious and the time from placing the order to receiving the sandwich was very fast and efficient. Inside felt like a little German sports bar and deli, great for catching ball games. I look forward to getting a sandwich and beer here in the future!

There is a new German delicatessen that serves delicious meaty sandwiches in Winter Garden. The service is outstanding and the menu is mouthwatering. We ordered the Deutsch Dip, pretzel with beer cheese and the Das Munchen. My favorite was The Duetsch Dip ...it is a pastrami and beer braised onions sandwich with mustard Muenster cheese. They serve it toasted on a hoagie roll with a side of au jus.

Despite this being in downtown Winter Garden the parking is plentiful! When I walked in there was a lovely lady playing the accordion. So delightful. I did not use the restroom so I can't speak to that. I ordered a Das Munchen, which is a schnitzel sandwich. It came with a side item (much I could select) - I chose German potato salad. For dessert I ordered a Black Forest Roll. Again, both possessed an excellent taste. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is tough on the wallet (aka expensive). But honestly, it takes so good.

It tasted sour, but pretty enjoyable. It had hints of mango and guava too. When the tour started, they mentioned it included a free beer, which the other guests took during the tour, but I decided to wait for my free beer after the tour. The tour of the brewery was quite informative, with our guide mentioning the process, the devices, history, and how they work with other independent breweries to partner and not compete. The only competition are the big ones like Anheuser, Coors, etc. The brewery area was small and the tour lasted 45 minutes, but very informative and interesting. After the tour, I tried a stronger beer called the McStagger, which was very good, smooth, and boozy. I was definitely happy! The tour was 10 bucks and well worth it. The staff are friendly, and they are happy to chat with other customers if they are not too busy. The drinking area has an ample amount of seats, with outdoor seating as well. It's quite lively, and there was a guitarist playing music as well. It's located at the Plant Street Market. Crooked Can serves great beer and has a very good tour for a wonderful price. The staff and atmosphere has great vibes, and I also enjoy the entertainment offered. It's not too far from parent's house, so I can definitely visit more and enjoy while I have food at the restaurants closeby. A great independent brewery in the Winter Garden area. Overall: A

No issues with my sensitive stomach which some time has difficulties with texmex. The rooftop has great sunset views and is good for groups if you can find a spot. We tend to order the same things. My only consistent complaint now is that I really with you could order your drinks at the same time and at the same touchpoint as ordering food. Having to wait in a line to order food and then wait again at the bar to get a bartenders attention to then wait again for a drink is a hassle and a bit annoying. The bartenders are also quite slow here we have noticed (both upstairs and down). We have waited for drinks longer than food on more than one occasion. So this leaves me alone holding our table while my husband waits for drinks to be made and often food gets delivered while that happening and starts to cool. Annoying right? But otherwise food is good. Drinks are interesting. Great rooftop. It's a decent and easy spot to grab a quick easy dinner I just wish they fix that issue.
