I'm from Los Angeles, and where I come from ... we have ALLL the fancy acai places at every corner! So needless to say, it's rlly a bummer there aren't as many out here in GA. LOL Located right across the la fitness in a shopping center. Been to three different acai place before finding this gem. And FINALLLY a decent acai place that I enjoy soo much. However, I normally get pitaya bowls out in Los Angeles. But whatevvvs .. acai it is! My FAVORITE part is that he adds granola to the bottom... so I'm not stuck with just acai after I've finished my toppings. Flavor is amazing and it DOES NOT come out soupy (like the other places I've been too) Many options to choose from. I recommend trying them all ... they're all really really good. The acai bowls are killer. It is called the Superfood company because it is SUPERGOOD! Boris, the owner, is a really great guy too. Because I need to be honest in all my reviews even when I love the food and the owner, the decor and inside is much to be desired. There is a mix-match of tables and a high top which the chairs do not even reach the table, comfortably. Never seen anything like it, very weird. The bathroom light receptacle has the cover off and wires exposed, probably fine but looks scary. The "guts" of the location is fine. The counter, where to order, etc..but the rest is just odd and off. I suggest you order to go! But I assure you the bowls and smoothies are freaking great. Fresh, tasty, great portions! I would/should give this 5 stars but cannot based on the fact I must treat all reviews equally and the inside of the location is weird. If it were possible to do 4.5 stars, I would. This place is an absolute gem! Without a doubt the best smoothie bowls I've had. They really load up the bowls with toppings, which is always nice. The ingredients are high quality and the menu is very creative. On top of that I've never seen Borris without a smile, you can tell he really enjoys what he does. First time here, the gps will take you across the street to Zara restaurant. This place said they will be moving there but they're currently across the street next to the Pizza Hut. (Just for anything else who has the same issue I did, both yelp and my gps thinks they're across the street) I finally had to call to ask where they were They have smoothies as well as açaí bowls, I got the Brazilian power smoothie and it was delicious, different than any smoothie I've had before it very good. IGNORE MY 1st POST! Açaí BowlsThe SUPERFOOD CO DOES EXIST!!! Wow, are we glad that we took a moment to call the business after following bad location advice! It's literally across the street in the same lot as LA Fitness & next to LA Nails. The bowls were huge and nothing was skimped on. The service was excellent and both the cashier and the food prep/owner took time to ensure my order was correct BEFORE the bowls were made. (This was our 1st time). The menu was straight forward and fairly easy to read. We'll have business to attend to here so we look forward to coming back to try a few smoothies. I yelped this place before I took my GA real estate exam. Please note the directions take you to the wrong address. It's actually in the plaza across the street. I ordered this Superpower smoothie with an extra brain power boost and it gave me the super powers I needed to pass my real estate exam the first time. Score!!! The smoothie is actually called Brazilian Power Smoothie and I got a boost in it. I don't recall the name of the boost however, that's what I loved about this experience; the owner was so helpful and informative. I told him what I wanted and he had the perfect suggestion for me. The smoothie was delicious I was thinking about it days later. I will try other options on the menu whenever I'm in the area. I absolutely love this place. Acai bowls are fresh, not overly sweet, the consistency is great - never had a runny one! The ratio between acai and toppings is good, and I love that they put granola on the bottom. Price is reasonable as most bowls range from $10-12. Only thing is sometimes the wait can be long but I am patient when it comes to getting quality food so that is not a big deal for me. I ordered the Açaí Primo ($7.25) and it is so tasty! This company deserves their 5 stars. This smoothie tastes fresh and made with real fruit! None of those fruit "syrups" like you'll find at some of the national smoothie chains. Quite a few people were coming in to place orders, so I totally understand why they stay busy! Great smoothies! My wife was craving a smoothie so I found this place on Yelp with 5-star reviews, so we decided to give it a shot. It may have just been one of those days, but I didn't receive the amazing service that others rave about in the reviews. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad or anything, but it was just service. I walked in and I don't think I was greeted (maybe they whispered it) and I went to the register to look at the menu and was not asked if I had any questions or anything. Again, not a big deal as they weren't rude or anything, but nothing to rave about. I went with the Sword and Shield smoothie because the name was cool and had ingredients I like. It was also because they didn't have the Tropical Whiteout that I saw here on Yelp, so I made an audible. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't worth $10. I mean, I'm sure they used fresh ingredients, but it just didn't taste great. My wife decided to go with the Last King of Hawaii acai bowl as she's never had one and the reviews about them were good. She liked it, but nothing she'd want all the time. I took a few bites and surprisingly the best I've had here in Georgia. It doesn't come close to what you can get in Hawaii, but that's pretty much impossible. I don't know why it can't be replicated, but nobody in Georgia nails it. It's always cut with other fruits like blueberries or pumped up with sugar and is relatively small for the price. Superfood Company gets my vote for best in Georgia though as the acai base was the best tasting I've had. Toppings could use some work, as it was kinda thin (which seems to be the norm in Georgia), but good job overall. One side note is that it takes a while for them to prepare a bowl and smoothie. I assume it took more time because they cut fresh fruits, so don't be in a rush. There was a couple in front of me, but I'd day I waited about 10 minutes after they received their order. Not docking points for that though. Overall good. I liked the acai bowl. Smoothie wasn't great, but I'd give another flavor a shot or just get the acai bowl. Thumbs up! read more

First of all, these are the nicest people! We went in today to get juices and the man (owner) and a girl were working behind the counter. They were very busy, many customers in cars had placed orders and they were working through them, but we're still so gracious and helpful to me and my husband. They warned us it would be 20 mins because of the backlog- which was fine since we were in no rush- but gave us samples of any extra orders made while we waited which was so sweet. I subbed blackberries instead of the raspberries and they were more than accommodating. Then he messed my order up in the most fantastic way possible. He mistakenly put in some cashew butter coconut something or another granola? I'm not quite certain what it is except that it's HEAVENLY! He asked me to sample it to see if I was OK with his mistake or if he needed to remake my bowl. Um, yes, you can make that mistake ANY DAY OF MY LIFE, THANKS! I don't even LIKE granola, y'all?!
