She came to our table 4 times asking if we were ready to order, when we had only been there for 10 minutes and our menus were still open. Halfway through my chicken sandwich, I noticed that every bite was fried breading, onion straws and the bun, hardly any chicken at all. She came to check on the orders after a little while, I showed her mine asking where the chicken was. She agreed that it was a meager portion. My wife was done eating her wings at that point, so instead of having to wait on a re-do, I asked if she could have the kitchen prepare the replacement to go. After a little while she brought the bill, and I used a pre-paid gift voucher to settle up. She came back, had comped my meal, but used the full amount of my voucher, didn't have the replacement. When I pointed this out to her, she told me that she couldn't do anything about it per manager instructions. Why didn't the manager come over when the issue was made clear? Eventually, he came over after I asked to speak with him directly, and we worked everything out, but why didn't he visit us at the first sign of dissatisfaction? It took less time to order and receive our dinner than it did to find a mutually agreeable solution. I still tipped the waitress on the full amount of our bill, mostly because I felt bad for her obvious lack of training & experience. Probably won't be going back, so if you choose to eat here, be sure to immediately point out any discrepancies.

I would avoid this shop at all costs…read more I was told I'd be getting a package with PPF and a 1 year ceramic coating, and that I should drop my car off Saturday with pickup on Sunday. When I dropped the car off, I was suddenly told they don't really work weekends (even though people were clearly working in the shop) and that it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. They also claimed they were using "Legend PPF," which they said was better than XPEL. When I collected my car, I immediately noticed issues including a bubble in the front hood of the PPF, but Chess wasn't there. The lady at the shop brushed it off and told me to talk to Chess. When I called Chess later, he said sunlight would fix it and told me to come back a month later for them to check it. A month later, the PPF already had several rock chips and scratches and was not self healing ,all in just a month. I scheduled another appointment with Chess to fix the bubbling, smudging, and because they said they would thoroughly check it and fix any issues they found. I drove an hour from Buckhead, took time off work, only to arrive at a closed shop. Chess made an excuse, saying the person who needed to be there had left, and then sent me to a different shop, AP3 in Marietta. Maybe it was true, but it was not professional at all and I ended up wasting a whole hour. At AP3 Marietta, I was told the front hood PPF needed to be replaced. They simply trimmed around the worst spots of the poor install. Chess promised to replace the full front hood PPF, but when I brought my car back, he went back on his word. Instead, he told me their shop "allows up to 10% installation error," which is unacceptable. To make things worse, one of the installers dismissed my concerns by saying, "It's just a Toyota." Chess had also mentioned at one point that they "only work nights," which made the entire operation of the shop feel very strange and unprofessional. At this point, I don't even know what PPF they actually installed. Their Instagram says XPEL, Chess told me Legend, the invoice says nothing, the installer mentioned another brand, and the shop signs advertise yet another brand. The film is clearly not self healing, already scratched, and performing terribly. Seeing these issues, I recommended my girlfriend not go ahead with Perfection Wraps. She had her PPF done elsewhere with XPEL Plus, and they did a mind blowing job. Her car has already taken rock chips and healed as expected. Meanwhile, I am stuck with a disappointing install, poor customer service, broken promises, and film that doesn't perform as advertised. Overall, the entire experience has been exhausting and disappointing, full of broken promises, delays, and complete disorganization. I am now considering taking my car to another shop, the same one where my girlfriend had a great experience. It is a bit pricier, but at this point I will be racking up a bigger bill just to reverse the job these guys did and the poor quality PPF they installed

I've owned a restaurant in downtown Roswell I called this place out years ago for switching meat purveyors on the hanger steak and serving a lower grade meat. You know what happened? It got fixed. I came here years ago and had a subpar experience with a bartender who was too post counting her tips to serve me and my date on a Friday. You know what happened? They changed management. This place is what defines top tier. This place is what it means to deliver consistency in the name of public service. I had eaten here 237 times in a single year. I'm telling you: the menu is not driven by margin. It's driven by experience. I've eaten it all. You'll find a packed bar most nights because the regulars love this place. You'll discover bartenders remembering your drinks, servers remembering how you want your steak cooked, and hostesses knowing you prefer the bar. This is a 5 star experience with 3.5 star prices. It's elite in that regard, a date night spot or solo hangout that will never let you down. If Salt ever leaves Woodstock, may the bedrock beneath it burn.

The food was prepared exactly as requested, thanks to our server, Rylee, who made us feel right at home with her smile and quick attention to every need. Our group sampled several dishes, including Lola's Meatloaf, the Smothered Chopped Steak, the Pub Pretzel Burger with Pimento Cheese, and the Wedge Salad with Blackened Shrimp. Everything arrived hot, generously portioned, and cooked perfectly. Not a single complaint from anyone -- a rare achievement for a group of seven. We were also impressed by General Manager Shane Mayerhafer, who went out of his way to help us find seating. Because of a slight delay, he surprised our table with complimentary chips and dip -- a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the evening. Overall, the experience was outstanding, and we've officially added Sidelines Grille to our monthly rotation. Carroll P.

I eat here regularly, usually once a week and sometimes twice. There's a reason: the food is…read morefantastic. For bar food, Sidelines in Woodstock is probably my favorite place in the area. Everything I've had is well seasoned, properly cooked and consistently good. There's another Sidelines nearby and I don't go there because the food simply isn't as good. This location gets the food right. But there are problems here that shouldn't be happening. The floor around the bar can get incredibly greasy--enough that I've worried about an older customer slipping and falling. I've mentioned it before. I was told they knew it needed to be degreased. Yet it continues. Then there are the plates. I routinely get plates with greasy fingerprints on them. Today mine had a large greasy thumbprint. I worked in professional kitchens. You don't send a plate out looking like that. Wipe it before it crosses the pass. The chef should notice. Whoever is expediting should notice. The server should notice. Today, halfway through my sandwich, I also found a small piece of plastic on the plate that appeared to be from food packaging, then a small hair, possibly an eyelash, beside the sandwich. Accidents happen anywhere. Good restaurants catch them before the plate reaches the customer. And then there's the restroom. About three weeks ago I went in and it was absolutely filthy. Not "someone made a mess during lunch" filthy. Old, matted toilet paper was stuck to the floor and all around and behind the toilet and pedestal sink. The mirror was dirty. There was grime everywhere. This had clearly accumulated over time. It was bad enough that I took a video. After eating, I went to the host stand and asked for the manager. She was standing there talking with other employees and told me she was the manager. I explained the problem. Her immediate response was: "Oh, I don't ever go in that bathroom. I don't go in there. I don't check that." I was blown away. The manager of a restaurant was explicitly telling a customer she doesn't check one of her restrooms. Rather than taking responsibility, her first response was to distance herself from it. She told me to just tell her what was wrong. I said she needed to see it and offered to walk over there with her. She showed no interest in going. I told her I had taken a video and offered to show her. Again: "Just tell me." No. I insisted she watch it because describing it wouldn't communicate how bad it was. I showed her the entire video. After seeing it, she said she would send someone back to clean it. Fine. Surely it would be handled. Except it wasn't. The next time I was there, I checked. It was pretty much the same. The same matted toilet paper was still around and behind the toilet and pedestal sink. It had not been properly cleaned. I said nothing. I don't beat dead horses. I had gone directly to the manager, offered to take her in there, made her watch the video when she wouldn't go look herself, and she told me it would be handled. If it still wasn't handled after all that, I had my answer. I was back again today. The same manager was there, sitting by herself at one of the long high-top tables looking at her phone. Meanwhile, my plate came out with a greasy thumbprint, a piece of plastic and a hair on it. Management was there. This wasn't a day when nobody was in charge. Even the service reflected the same lack of attention. I needed to leave, so I asked the bartender for a to-go box. She had taken my order and served me one drink; other staff brought my food. I still tipped her $3, roughly 18% of the entire check. While I was still sitting there, she picked up the signed receipt and looked at it. Let the customer leave before you collect the receipt and see what they tipped you. When I got up to leave, I thanked her. Her response: "Yeah." Not "thank you." Not "you're welcome." Just "yeah." Any one of these things alone could be dismissed. But eventually there are too many things pointing in the same direction. The problem is management. There doesn't appear to be an adult in the room establishing a standard and making sure it is followed. And by "adult," I don't mean age. I mean someone taking ownership. Walk the restaurant. Check the bathrooms. Look at the floors and the plates leaving the kitchen. Train the staff. Correct things when they're wrong. Follow up when a customer brings something serious to your attention. Hold people to a standard and make sure it was actually met. That's managing. Standing at the host stand--or sitting at a table looking at your phone--while these things happen isn't. I really like this Sidelines. That's why I keep coming back and why I'm bothering to write this. The food is genuinely excellent. This should be one of the easiest restaurants in the area for me to recommend.
