I was thrilled this opened in Marietta and it's one of my frequented places when I'm in that area…read more I have visited them almost since the week they opened, and owe them a Yelp review :) Recently, I went for a ramen (spicy tonkatsu) and not only was it big and served in a real, ceramic bowl (the way ramen should be served, which MANY places skimp on these days), there were several pieces of pork (more than other places) and very plentiful condiments in my bowl. I was pleased. I really like how they thinly slice the pork belly too, really bringing out the seared edges & fat. I always get the poke bowls too; you may 1 flat price based on how many proteins, and practically unlimited toppings. Always fresh and made in front of you. The bubble tea: they brew the teas, you just need to ask them which ones are brewed but I've always gone with either the Taichi original or Taichi green tea or the jasmine one. I like to get zero sugar and just get boba balls which are slightly sweetened. If you're Asian, that might hit the spot for you. 25-30% sweet is also available and that's not bad too. Lastly; this store has good seating options; there's a big section in front of the registers, and there's also a more private section on the other side. To date it never seems overly crowded or populated inside (surprisingly, considering the food is so good and consistent) ....so I'm usually able to eat in peace & quiet. Oh yea, they also have CUTE decor inside. There's random stuffed animals around the place. I really like this place and it's probably one of the places I actually go to "regularly" due to a very good intersection of healthy-food quality, price-value, and quantity.

Fast service, big portions. Everything was delicious! Love this addition to the Kroger shopping…read morecenter.

That said, I'm extremely spoiled and am used to getting bubble tea in California (Bay Area and San Diego) where it's everywhere and very authentic. We had excellent service and it's in an adorable bookstore, no doubt. The downstairs is a bit more like a religious gift shop but the upstairs is lovely. I'd still go back and will likely pop by again when I'm getting a hankering for "boba," as we call it where I'm from.

Instead, I felt pressured to decide quickly and ended up not enjoying my drink. On top of that, my order never actually went through -- I only found out after asking about it, and the staff realized it hadn't printed. They did make it right away once I pointed it out, which I appreciated, but I would have been waiting indefinitely otherwise. While they do have a "make it right" guarantee if you don't like your drink, the employee seemed annoyed when I asked for another recommendation. Unfortunately, the second drink (the mango one) turned out to contain caffeine, so I couldn't drink it either. I'm not saying they don't have good drinks here -- I just didn't get the chance to find one. I really hope they can improve their customer service, especially for customers with dietary restrictions, so that everyone can have a better experience.
