My mother had received one while she was in the nursing home. The shell of the air plant was accidentally broken and the little plant didn't do well with the change. The owner of the shop did a lot of research for me and we did not end up getting an air plant, but she was as invested in finding a replacement plant for my mom. I have really appreciated all her helpfulness and expertise over the years.
