I have been following the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour for a couple years now…read moresince Dec 2023. Thank you to my dear work colleague and friend... you know who you are. Darling Tennis Center (DTC) was home for the 2024 PPA Rate Championships presented by Skechers and 2025 PPA Rate Vegas Cup presented by Holland America. I was at this center both years as a spectator for the pickleball tournaments. DTC has 23 beautiful tennis courts. Staff was friendly. They did an amazing job converting the tennis courts to pickleball courts for the events. I didn't get a chance to play on any of the courts. I hope to play on them one fine day. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Restroom facilities are available throughout. The center court is amazing. It has bleachers on the west and east sides. I got the opportunity to sit on both sides. The sun will shine and the shade will eventually come. I had to move a few times during the matches to avoid the sun at certain times of the day. Free parking is plenty. It is shared with the soccer fields. Sometimes soccer events do take place, hence, parking lot will get really packed. Do come early to snatch a close parking spot on championship days. Otherwise, you may have to walk a bit from parking lot to entrance. I have enjoyed my visits very much. It's always fun and exciting to watch pro players play the spectacular sport of pickleball. I look forward to coming back to DTC for future PPA tournaments in the years to come. My friends and I went to play pickleball, and the park did not disappoint. It features plenty of dedicated courts, an easy online reservation system, and a strong community of players. Even if you show up solo, you're very likely to find a pickup game. Parking was also plentiful and convenient. What a fantastic park!

Its like a playground for athletes! I had so much fun here, I did acro with a friend with the iconic Las Vegas Circus Center Mural background, played on the Ninja jungle gym until my hand ripped, there's also regular workout equipment - including my absolute all-time favorite - the Jacobs Ladder!!! There were also rings and bars with clearance overhead for pull-ups/pull-overs/muscle ups, and swedish ladders for leg lifts. Stuff for aerialists too. Note for the trampolines/foam pits - you need their trampoline socks, which was annoying so I skipped that for that day. Otherwise, 100% would recommend and will definitely be back!!!

Vasoconstriction causes headaches and so far, working out has worked wonders for me. I used the facility for the first time as a guest years ago and was asked to get an ID card just for SRWC since I wasn't a Rebel yet. There was a skin disease outbreak that happened that year so, I stopped going. They got that issue straightened out. Now that I am a Rebel, I get to come here for free, yay! I like the layout of equipments and how seated machines/equipments are red - my favorite color! The little details matter to me. My favorite is the running track since I love running and we don't have one at my regular gym. Please run in the right direction. It's clean, modern and doesn't seem cramped. Cardio machines, ab machines, free weights, basketball courts, pool...whatever exercise equipment needs you have, they got it. Please wear appropriate pants/underwear before using the leg abductor machine.

(I guess you can call it a hidden gem.) The SRWC and I go way back -- back before its birthday in 2007 and back when my waistline was teeny-tiny. Doing both my undergrad and grad years at UNLV, you can bet I've taken full advantage of the student facilities fee tacked onto my tuition. Currently, all students taking a summer class automatically have a membership for all three summer sessions. For the regular semester, 3.5 credits will grant you access to the gym. And man, what a gym! Even through the years, it has remained pristine and increasingly equipped with state of the art machines. The custodians are always cleaning, the staff for the most part is friendly, and if you avoid peak hours, you'll be in and out in no time. Be sure to check out the Rebel X group fitness classes, too! They're free. The gym features 4 floors: cardio room, weights, basketball courts, indoor jogging track. Amongst these floors, you will also find multipurpose courts, indoor pools/spa, locker rooms with showers, Einstein's Bros Bagel and cafe, Rebel Wellness Zone (with massage chairs), dental school office, counseling/psychological services, pharmacy, and the student health center for medical appointments. I recently took Bella's Lagree 101 class at Love Lagree and had a great first experience…read more The studio is located in a newly developed plaza with plenty of parking, making it easy to find and access. The lobby is clean, modern, and minimalistic with a neutral-chic aesthetic. Shoes are removed upon entry, and grip socks are required for class. You can bring your own or purchase their branded socks, which felt surprisingly high quality with thick, comfortable knit material. The studio itself is thoughtfully designed. The restroom was spotless and stocked with great-smelling body mists that I immediately took note of because they smelled so good. There's also a newly built sauna area nearby with plenty of towels, arch mirrors for selfies, and a polished, spa-like feel. The lobby features cozy seating, fresh flowers, a full-length mirror, rustic carpeting, and a modern chandelier that ties everything together. Bella was incredibly welcoming and accommodating as our Lagree 101 instructor. Even the instructor from the class before ours took a moment to greet us and wish us a good class, which spoke volumes about the positive culture within the studio. Since Lagree 101 is designed for beginners, Bella started class by giving us a thorough introduction to the Megaformer and how it differs from a traditional Pilates reformer. Between the moving carriage, platform, handlebars, straps, resistance springs, and balance pole, there's definitely a learning curve. Bella made everything approachable, provided clear cues throughout class, offered modifications when needed, and frequently checked our form. For context, I had taken two challenging Pilates classes the day before and definitely didn't give myself a proper recovery day. Even so, I wasn't prepared for the shaking! My quads were trembling almost immediately. The best way I can describe Lagree is if a Pilates reformer and a gym cable machine had a baby. It combines slow, controlled movement with serious strength-based resistance training, and it will absolutely humble you in the best way possible. Overall, I'd happily return and actually already signed up for another Lagree 101 class. My first experience felt welcoming, beginner-friendly, and challenging without ever feeling intimidating. If you've been curious about Lagree but feel nervous about trying it, this is a great place to start.

I've been to this gym a handful of times for league games, tournaments, and open court runs. One of…read morethe biggest positives is that they have six courts, which makes it a solid spot for hosting multiple games at once and keeping things organized during busy events. However, the facility itself could definitely use some TLC. Parts of the building feel a bit worn down, and you can tell it hasn't been updated in a while. During the summer, it gets pretty hot inside, which can make playing a bit uncomfortable--especially during longer runs or tournaments. The parking situation also isn't the most convenient, particularly when there are larger events going on. Overall, it's a decent gym with good court availability and a lot of potential, but it does come with a few drawbacks. It's also a bit far from the Strip, which might be something to consider depending on where you're coming from.
