Even though the building has been around for a while, it's kept in great shape. The ambience is clean, welcoming, and family-friendly, and it really feels like a space for the whole community. The staff has always been amazing--friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring, which makes every experience that much better. One of the biggest pluses is the value. They offer so many activities at a really reasonable price, and this is definitely the place to find more discounted programs compared to elsewhere. From fitness classes and pools to kids' programs, you get so much for what you pay. Overall, the Henderson Multigenerational Center is a gem--nostalgic for me personally, but also such a reliable, affordable, and enjoyable place to bring my daughter. There were five Grinch- themed trees. Many of the trees were decorated very nicely. It's a beautiful sight to see. We went on the Carousel, and we did two rounds of Mini-Golf, which was fun. We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

The basketball courts in particular are very spacious, and in good condition. I love that they have two sets of water fountains and restrooms available for easy access. They keep it very very very cold in that gym though! So if you're not running around playing to keep yourself warm, and you're a spectator like myself... bring a sweater!

Also, there are some poles that you can easily run into and also injure yourself with if you are too busy chasing the ball to see the post. It's a hassle getting in and out of the narrow parking garage and the machines often don't work. The location is central for many locals and visitors a like so it attracts a wide variety of players. Music plays loudly coming from the pool area. I feel bad for the guests who are subjected to the pickle ball noise and loud music.

However, with the heat and the amount of walking back and forth, I think he may have been a little too young to fully appreciate everything this place has to offer.
