The landscaping company who just redid our irrigation was lazy and instead of raking back the rock they dug it up with the pipes and buried everything. Grumble grumble! Unfortunately, the gentleman Frank drilled the hole the wrong size--too big. Now, our RO faucet does not sit properly on the counter, and we will have to rig it up, ruining the aesthetics. We told him BEFORE he started drilling that the bit looked too big, but he insisted it was fine. He didn't measure the bit up to the sizing diagram we provided him. We contacted Joshua, who proceeded to curse and threaten us with lawyers if we didn't pay him. Joshua stated that the services were rendered and that if we didn't pay, he would put a lien on our home (over $250 ). Joshua was screaming that he would show up to our home with lawyers and his crew and that "they don't make 1 inch diamond drill bits for granite (lol)" I mean really, it's a hole. It's too big. The guy didn't measure twice cut once. Calm down Joshua, no need to scream at people. No wonder your employee told us to contact him directly if there were any issues. We are not going to be bullied into paying for services that we didn't request- which is a hole too big for our faucet that we now have to fix. Please look elsewhere unless you like dealing with hotheads. Edit: If the owner thinks this install is acceptable- a wobbly install, not seated on the counter, with a gap visible from across the room, then he really is as delusional as he sounded when he cursed out my husband and threatened to show up at my house with 'his lawyer' if we didn't pay him. It was a big job. JCD came out for an eatimate and bid me about the same as the other companies who took a look, but seemed to be more interested in doing the work than the others. Jonathan came out when agreed upon, and it quickly became clear that he had not realized how long the job would take. He came out by himself the first day and knocked out about 1/4 of the work. Then he asked if I could pay him half the fee, "to bring something home to my wife." I agreed to pay 1/3 the full fee for the day. The next day, he came back with two men he said were cousins. Jonathan seemed ill at ease managng helpers, and complained to me several times that they weren't really helping and were like unruly children. Hmm. They worked most of the day and did finish the job. However, they seemed in a hurry to leave without completely clearing up the mess. Jonathan told me he could come back and rake another day, but I demurred. I threw a $50 tip on my payment, as well, since it seemed Jonathan had had to hire help he hadn't planned on. To my dismay, once they had gone, I discovered my pool was absolutely *chock full* of trimmings--both small chunks and enormous branches. Why on earth would any lanscaper carelessly allow all that mess to fall into a client's pool and then leave it there? I spent several days removing what amounted to nine contractor bags full of material from the pool, and then several more days skimming leaves from those branches, scrubbing the walls, and rebalancing chemicals. There were also 4-10" lengths of shrub scattered all over the yard--my bad, since Jonathan offered to rake and I declined. But when all was said and done, I found myself wondering why that hadn't been an automatic part of cleaning up the job before leaving. The owner was a very pleasant guy, and I waited quite a while to leave a review, thinking that over time I would be less frustrated by the outcome. Did they do the job? They did, butI would not have called it professional. Will I hire them back? Absolutely not.

We hired this company in 2021 for a full landscaping project that included PVC irrigation,…read morelandscape lighting, and extensive plant installation. What was originally quoted around $7,000 ultimately totaled close to $20,000, all paid in cash. For us, this was a major investment. Less than five years later, nearly everything they installed is failing or has already had to be redone. The irrigation system was installed far too shallow. In many areas, PVC lines were placed just below or at the surface, including along walls and hardscape, instead of being properly trenched and compacted. As a result, the irrigation system has failed prematurely and is now being replaced. The lighting lines were also installed shallow and have had issues. The majority of the plants they installed died due to improper planting practices, including holes not dug correctly and lack of proper planting preparation. We are now paying other professionals to redo work that should have lasted far longer than this. We were also supposed to begin monthly maintenance service after the project was completed. We paid a $500 startup fee and were quoted $100 per month, but no one came out for three months. When I followed up, I was told the yard was now "overgrown" and that I would need to pay several hundred dollars more to address it, despite the lapse in service being entirely on their end. Throughout the process, communication was dismissive. Despite paying close to $20,000, the owner repeatedly referred to our project as a "small job" for him. When I finally sent a message addressing the condescending tone and lack of follow through, I received no response at all. Because warranty terms were never provided in writing, I have not attempted to pursue corrections through them. I would not hire this company again and strongly recommend that anyone considering them get everything in writing and be very cautious with payment structure.
