Coffee - served in a real mug if u dine in

Popped in for a quick afternoon coffee. I asked for decaf ideas. The woman at the counter recommended either decaf espresso-based drinks or a pour-over. I chose the latter and it was quite good. Smooth, a bit nutty not at all bitter. The place was a bit hard to find. My GPS was completely confused. But just look for E Chestnut & Main and you're pretty much there. Parking (street) was easy. Ambiance was great - high ceilings, a fireplace, very eclectic decor. When I'm in that area, I'll definitely return!

Today is my second time here, and I've been super happy each visit! The cafe is beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of coffee and pastries is awesome. I've tried the lavender iced coffee, and Carmel. Both are 5 stars! The raspberry scone was one of the best pastries I've ever had. Very convenient, lots of public parking across the street. $.25 for 15 minute parking, so bring quarters! Loved working remotely here, it's very quiet and it was easy to focus with minimal distractions.

Lacie and Roman continue to provide great service and solid espresso. Their baked goods have been impressive (try the blueberry scone or the apple cider donuts). The space is always clean and they have a few chairs on the sidewalk for outso My only wish is that they were open earlier in the morning and into the evening!

    Very cozy interior!

I had the almond milk cappuccino, hubby had the regular cappuccino, and my son had a chocolate chip cookie. My cappuccino was smooth and had a nice body to it. Hubby had no complaints. The chocolate chip cookie was big. My son shared and the cookie was excellent. Like the kind of chocolate chip cookie you wish you could make at home. The outside had a nice buttery crunch, and soft in the middle. Complementary water was a nice touch. The place looked clean and well taken care of. Our family will definitely be back to this little slice of coffee heaven.

A Hidden Gem in Washington, PA!…read more The Washington Brewing Company is the real deal! You can absolutely taste the love in every beer--they clearly take pride in their craft. Each brew we tried was smooth, flavorful, and uniquely their own. We shared a few appetizers and every bite was fantastic, but the fried zucchini sticks were the standout--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Definitely a must-try! Their happy hour is a great deal, and the atmosphere is just what you'd want in a local brewery: relaxed, welcoming, and fun. The location is spot-on--easy to get to, with plenty of space inside and out. To top it all off, the staff have been incredible--knowledgeable about the beers, super friendly, and genuinely fun to talk to. It's the kind of place where you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time. We'll definitely be back. Cheers to great beer and even better people!

I have been to Washington more times than I can county yet I hadn't been here yet for some odd reason but we decided to change that on the way to the airport. Before arriving me and my gf were rather hungry so we were looking on Yelp for a place to eat before deciding to stop in here for a quick bite and a cold beer on a smoking hot day. Upon arrival it seemed like a cool place and had plenty of parking behind the business. Although once we entered the business the atmosphere seemed kind of off and unappealing. Everyone looked pissed off or unfriendly. The servers weren't much better if I am being honest, which I always am when leaving reviews. We sat at the bar for a few minutes before I had to ask a girl who was too busy chatting away with another girl for a menu and water. We needed someone to cool us off immediately due to it being extremely hot outside. TBH: nothing is more of a put off than entering a business you are about to spend money in and seeing the wait staff on their phones ignoring the people who are there to help them make money cause God forbid you don't tip someone 20% who are on Instagram 85% of the time you are there and instead of asking if you need anything else while you are constantly saying, can I have another this or that. SMH! The wait staff here seemed all over the place and it wasn't even busy when we stopped in. I guarantee every single person who was working was behind the bar at some point and we either had to ask for more water, more sour cream, more whatever; that's annoying! We started off by ordering a flight of beer and that seemed like a whole job in itself to the waitress. Then we decided to go with the nachos. Which I must say took way too long to arrive considering there was only 8-10 people max while we were there and easily 5-6 waiters and 2-3 bartenders. The beer was good and the nachos were pretty decent as well. Neither was anything to write home about but they did their job. Another thing I did notice about this place is it seemed grimmy and more of a bar than an actual brewery. Most of the time when a brewery needs to serve liquor it just doesn't have great beer or great brewery vibes that us brewery lovers go for and we rarely return, sadly. There was nothing welcoming about this place and with the food being just decent and the wait staff not being of the greatest in the personality and service categories I'd say there is a 99% chance we won't return or recommend this place to any of our friends or colleagues. Thanks and good luck :)

A delicious restaurant, a fantastic market, a dairy that makes phenomenal milk and a place for amazing events like the fall festival and events with Santa. They even have special events where groups (and often the general public) can sign up for a tour where you get to learn about their dairy operations and even milk a cow! When you visit in the fall, they have a lot of great themed decorations (as well as activities that you can pay to be a part of). But you can enjoy the festive vibes and decor without doing the whole experience if you are short on time or cash. Their food is delicious! The best way to describe it is homemade comfort food! The friendly staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about what certain things are or about ingredients. You can also eat fairly affordably, especially for the portion sizes and homemade, quality ingredients. The shop has a variety of souvenir type items (shirts, magnets, mugs, stuffed animals) but also local products like cheese and candy. They also have bakery items and tasty ice cream. Worth a trip for a delicious meal and fun farm experience!

The market sells a variety of foods and beverages from the family business as well as from other local businesses. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering. My husband and I shopped in the market one time. We saw milks, cheeses, deli meats, salads, baked goods, canned goods, ice creams, candies, and much more. So many delicious foods! We were away from home and had just eaten at another restaurant, so we purchased only two small things--a brookie (a chocolate-chip cookie with a brownie inside) and a small cherry pie. The total price was $11. On the next day, we ate the brookie and the cherry pie at home. They tasted pretty good. Now I feel interested in trying more of their foods and doing a tour of their farm...
