The tacos are to die for!!
Thiago R.

Really amazing food !! Sorry we got to the place a 5 minutes before the were closing, but the food was excepcional, and they were very friendly! The Baja tacos with shrimp were soooo good, very summer vibe and goes well with California vibes, they also had a telenovela playing to make the atmosphere even more authentic

When you see a long line, that's a good sign. They must have good food, right? The Taco Shop is located inside a food hall, where you can sit inside or outside. I like sitting outside to enjoy the view.

Quick and delicious! Small but filling. The potato tacos are not on the taco Tuesday deal because they are already at a good price point of $1.99. I'm vegetarian and love potatoes so I can't go wrong. The green sauce is heaven and slightly spicy but manageable. They serve Mexican bottled Coca Cola, pairs well with the tacos. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The dining area is spacious and clean with indoor and outdoor seating available.

Surf and turf Taco and two steak street tacos

Food was great! Highly recommend the surf and turf tacos. The sauces they say are spicy really are! Good heat and flavor! Chill and casual food hall. Delores at the at the front was so nice! Law enforcement discount too.

The Taco Shop is located inside the Center Street Promenade in Anaheim. It is one of the shops inside the food court area. I came to get some Quesa Birria Tacos and honestly what a great option! They have a lot of different food to choose from, but I got their combo which comes with rice and beans. I really didn't expect the food to be this good but the flavor, the quality, and even the service by Frank was really good! Everything added into the experience. They also have a lot of different items to try. Their green salsa had a nice kick to it, but I personally love the tacos with the consume it comes with. There's a lot of seating areas whether inside or outside. Parking can be done on the street and they also have validated parking for I believe up to two hours. Highly recommended this place for some good Mexican food.

Quesibirria in the front, al pastor street taco in the back

Found this place inside a small food court on Center St. in Anaheim during a little exploratory walk of all the food in the area. The queso-birria tacos with consume were absolutely delicious. They really hit the spot and for sure are added to the quick bite, comfort food list in the area. My friend also got an al pastor street taco and it was delicious as well! The service was really friendly and timely. The inside of the food court has a lot of space and at the time we went, wasn't too crowded (Sunday afternoon). We came back the following weekend to get some more, so that tells you something! Would definitely recommend if you're hanging out on Center St. for a bit.

Solid taco spot with fast service, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The Al Pastor was clean and surprisingly not greasy at all. They use flour tortillas, not corn, for their street tacos.

The Taco Shop was a pleasant surprise. Why? Because I was expecting over-hyped, run-of-the-mill food, but instead enjoyed every bite of my delicious meal! The Food: I ordered the chicken quesa-taco, a lengua mulita, and a bottle of Coke. My wife ordered the chips with salsa, a cabeza quesa-taco, and a potato taco. The quesa-taco is essentially 2 corn tortillas with melted cheese and meat, and the whole thing is then dipped in a consomme. Both the chicken and cabeza (meat from a cow's head) quesa-tacos were awesome! The broth-like consomme provided the perfect complement to the cheesy, greasy (in a good way!) quesa-tacos. Meanwhile, the lengua (beef tongue) in the mulita (essentially a mini quesadilla that's been fried) was soft and juicy, while the mulita itself was just the right amount of crispiness. Oh and I was thrilled to find that they sold not just Mexican Coke (which tastes like the Coke from my childhood, not what America sells today) but it also came in half liter bottle -- more to enjoy! I thought the chips and salsa and the potato taco were just OK, but my wife enjoyed both. And since she ordered them, that's all that mattered . The Service: The young woman at the cash register was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. After we ordered, she told us to find a seat anywhere in the food hall and she would find us and bring us the food. The Setting: It's important to note that the Taco Shop is located inside a food hall at the Center Street Promenade. That means it is not a standalone restaurant, but rather one shop inside a cafeteria with shared seating. Even though we came on a Sunday during lunch, when it was a little busy, we got a table while waiting for our food, so it worked out nicely. Not sure if we would be as lucky on a Friday or Saturday night. Also, there's not a ton of parking. You have to find free street parking (which is always taken) or park in a nearby parking structure and walk. Overall: With great service, yummy and authentic food, and decent prices, the Taco Shop is now officially among my bookmarked go-to taco restaurants.

The Taco Shop is THE taco shop. If you know what I mean. It's located in the foodcourt at the Anaheim Promenade. The eating area was nice and clean. There was a lady there who walked around wiping the tables. Which I absolutely appreciate because I don't see much of that when I go to food courts. Service was great! We walked up to the counter to order, ordered our food and they brought our food to our table in less than 10 minutes. We ordered the lengua mulitas, potato tacos, cabeza and chicken queso tacos with consume, and chips and salsa. They were all so good that I would absolutely order them again. 10/10!

Came here during the lunch hour, not too busy but steady flow. Ordered the chicken quesidilla. Wasn't expecting too much . To my delight the chicken was so flavorful and not greasy. I had the guacamole add on, lots of flavor as well. And the winner to add on is the jalepeno salsa, 10/10.

Quick, easy, delicious tacos for 4: carne asada and other offerings. Came relatively quick and plenty of parking. They offer all those sides to add to your taco if you choose.

I was looking for birria tacos and I was ordering on Yelp. I actually looked at their menu but I didn't see any birria tacos. There were some on the menu when I arrived but I already ordered. Maybe I wasn't looking as hard enough? Anyway I ended up ordering a pollo "qesitaco" and a pollo mulita. WOW! Both were delicious! Also a cool little area to eat and hangout as there are lots of places around. I'll definitely be back and bring my wife. Thanks Taco Shop! Keep up the good work

I used to work here years ago so I know how much care goes into the food & drinks. The Puesto Perfect Margarita is still my favorite margarita I've ever had. Everything is made fresh & you can absolutely taste the difference. I always order mine with a sugar rim. It's consistently refreshing, balanced & incredibly smooth. We stopped by on a Monday around 4:30 p.m. just before happy hour ended. It was nice & relaxed when we arrived. It only started getting a little busier as we were leaving. We took advantage of happy hour & ordered a few favorites. The potato taquitos have been one of my go-to menu items for years & are just as delicious as I remembered. Crispy on the outside, flavorful inside & served over a generous bed of fresh guacamole that makes every bite even better. We also tried one of the newer happy hour items the short rib mini burrito served with a green sauce. Both my husband & I really enjoyed it. The short rib was tender & the sauce added the perfect amount of brightness. I was happily snacking on the chips with the molcajete salsa. It's one of my favorite restaurant salsas. I also love the chips with Puesto Perfect guacamole. It makes it hard to stop eating. Since it was my birthday I treated myself to a Tropical Candy Shot. If you like bold flavors definitely order one. It reminded me of a Mexican street candy in shot form with a Tajín rim & a pineapple garnish. It was festive, flavorful & the perfect birthday treat. The sweetest surprise of the evening was the complimentary birthday dessert. A slice of pistachio tres leches cake. I love tres leches but I've never had a pistachio version before. It was incredibly moist & rich without being too heavy. The pistachios added the perfect crunch & nutty flavor. It was one of the highlights of the meal. One small detail I always appreciate is that they bring a pitcher of water to the table. This makes it easy to refill your glass throughout the meal without waiting. It's a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience feel more comfortable. I'm so glad we came back after not visiting for quite a while. I love the consistently amazing margaritas, delicious happy hour menu, & warm hospitality. The thoughtful birthday surprise made it even better. It was a wonderful way to celebrate. I'll definitely be back! If you're visiting for the first time do yourself a favor & order the Puesto Perfect Margarita & potato taquitos. Also save room for the pistachio tres leches if it's available.

Doubling stacking deals was a big brain idea, I'll admit. I originally discovered Puesto through the Crazy, Wild Taco Night event I attended earlier this year, and it's nice to know that their restaurant offerings maintain their quality even outside of the competition setting. We ordered chips and salsa, esquite, non-alcoholic passion fruit margarita mocktails, filet mignon tacos, surf and turf tacos, and a grilled shrimp taco. I think I would skip the grilled shrimp taco next time, but the other two tacos were great and the 50% off price point made them even tastier. Our host and server were both very friendly, and we enjoyed the meal. Free self parking is available for two hours with validation from the restaurant.

My favorites are the enchiladas and the menudo, and the agua frescas and orange juice are always made in house and taste amazing. The agua de melón was delicious, and the side of beans was excellent. We also ordered a plain quesadilla, and it was surprisingly really good. The menudo itself was just okay--not bad, but nothing special. The reason I'm giving 2 stars isn't because the staff were rude, but they definitely weren't friendly or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, was what I witnessed with the condiments. When you order menudo, they bring a plate with limes, onions, and chili. I watched two employees clear tables, throw away some items, but keep the unused onions and uncut lime wedges from customers' plates and take them back into the kitchen to be served again. Even if I didn't use all of the onions or limes, that doesn't mean I didn't touch them. Reusing food that has already been on a customer's table is unsanitary and unacceptable. After seeing that, it made me wonder whether other items, like leftover chips, might also be reused. Whether or not that's the case, what I witnessed was enough to make me lose confidence in their food handling practices. Unfortunately, I won't be returning

Review #1,082 Posted on 7.8.26…read more We stopped in here for a late night burrito & quesadilla on Sunday night the 5th after driving up from the Bay prior & getting checked into our room. This spot is located in a small strip mall shortly off the freeway on La Palma Ave in Anaheim. The food was really good, I was impressed with the meat portions in our burritos & quesadilla. There was a ton of meat. Both the red & green salsas were hot but still edible too. The rice & beans were quality as well. Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger.
