Chicken Quesadilla w/Extra Cheese- 10/10 Surf& Turf Taco- 9/10 Red & Green Salsas - 10/10 Customer Service -10/10 The lady today was all by herself taking the orders and preparing the food. She did a great job. Wish someone was there to help her as the line got long at one point. Good Mexican food. I'll be back.

Quick and delicious! Small but filling. The potato tacos are not on the taco Tuesday deal because they are already at a good price point of $1.99. I'm vegetarian and love potatoes so I can't go wrong. The green sauce is heaven and slightly spicy but manageable. They serve Mexican bottled Coca Cola, pairs well with the tacos. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The dining area is spacious and clean with indoor and outdoor seating available.

The Taco Shop is located inside the Center Street Promenade in Anaheim. It is one of the shops inside the food court area. I came to get some Quesa Birria Tacos and honestly what a great option! They have a lot of different food to choose from, but I got their combo which comes with rice and beans. I really didn't expect the food to be this good but the flavor, the quality, and even the service by Frank was really good! Everything added into the experience. They also have a lot of different items to try. Their green salsa had a nice kick to it, but I personally love the tacos with the consume it comes with. There's a lot of seating areas whether inside or outside. Parking can be done on the street and they also have validated parking for I believe up to two hours. Highly recommended this place for some good Mexican food.

Found this place inside a small food court on Center St. in Anaheim during a little exploratory walk of all the food in the area. The queso-birria tacos with consume were absolutely delicious. They really hit the spot and for sure are added to the quick bite, comfort food list in the area. My friend also got an al pastor street taco and it was delicious as well! The service was really friendly and timely. The inside of the food court has a lot of space and at the time we went, wasn't too crowded (Sunday afternoon). We came back the following weekend to get some more, so that tells you something! Would definitely recommend if you're hanging out on Center St. for a bit.

Solid taco spot with fast service, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The Al Pastor was clean and surprisingly not greasy at all. They use flour tortillas, not corn, for their street tacos.

I was looking for birria tacos and I was ordering on Yelp. I actually looked at their menu but I didn't see any birria tacos. There were some on the menu when I arrived but I already ordered. Maybe I wasn't looking as hard enough? Anyway I ended up ordering a pollo "qesitaco" and a pollo mulita. WOW! Both were delicious! Also a cool little area to eat and hangout as there are lots of places around. I'll definitely be back and bring my wife. Thanks Taco Shop! Keep up the good work

The Taco Shop was a pleasant surprise. Why? Because I was expecting over-hyped, run-of-the-mill food, but instead enjoyed every bite of my delicious meal! The Food: I ordered the chicken quesa-taco, a lengua mulita, and a bottle of Coke. My wife ordered the chips with salsa, a cabeza quesa-taco, and a potato taco. The quesa-taco is essentially 2 corn tortillas with melted cheese and meat, and the whole thing is then dipped in a consomme. Both the chicken and cabeza (meat from a cow's head) quesa-tacos were awesome! The broth-like consomme provided the perfect complement to the cheesy, greasy (in a good way!) quesa-tacos. Meanwhile, the lengua (beef tongue) in the mulita (essentially a mini quesadilla that's been fried) was soft and juicy, while the mulita itself was just the right amount of crispiness. Oh and I was thrilled to find that they sold not just Mexican Coke (which tastes like the Coke from my childhood, not what America sells today) but it also came in half liter bottle -- more to enjoy! I thought the chips and salsa and the potato taco were just OK, but my wife enjoyed both. And since she ordered them, that's all that mattered . The Service: The young woman at the cash register was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. After we ordered, she told us to find a seat anywhere in the food hall and she would find us and bring us the food. The Setting: It's important to note that the Taco Shop is located inside a food hall at the Center Street Promenade. That means it is not a standalone restaurant, but rather one shop inside a cafeteria with shared seating. Even though we came on a Sunday during lunch, when it was a little busy, we got a table while waiting for our food, so it worked out nicely. Not sure if we would be as lucky on a Friday or Saturday night. Also, there's not a ton of parking. You have to find free street parking (which is always taken) or park in a nearby parking structure and walk. Overall: With great service, yummy and authentic food, and decent prices, the Taco Shop is now officially among my bookmarked go-to taco restaurants.

The Taco Shop is THE taco shop. If you know what I mean. It's located in the foodcourt at the Anaheim Promenade. The eating area was nice and clean. There was a lady there who walked around wiping the tables. Which I absolutely appreciate because I don't see much of that when I go to food courts. Service was great! We walked up to the counter to order, ordered our food and they brought our food to our table in less than 10 minutes. We ordered the lengua mulitas, potato tacos, cabeza and chicken queso tacos with consume, and chips and salsa. They were all so good that I would absolutely order them again. 10/10!

Came here during the lunch hour, not too busy but steady flow. Ordered the chicken quesidilla. Wasn't expecting too much . To my delight the chicken was so flavorful and not greasy. I had the guacamole add on, lots of flavor as well. And the winner to add on is the jalepeno salsa, 10/10.

This is a pattern not a mistake. The food tastes good and the staff is friendly but they always short you on the food in the container. On top of that, they offer promotions and then charge extra on top of what's already advertised. They have a $9.99 Wednesday special and they add a $1.00 fee for carne asada when it's already advertised in the photo. Go to Baja California Mexican Grill one block for a more SoCal Mexican food experience.

Quick, easy, delicious tacos for 4: carne asada and other offerings. Came relatively quick and plenty of parking. They offer all those sides to add to your taco if you choose.

What kind of cheese melts like this..

Was craving Mexican food at work and thought, "dang this place has good reviews let's give it a try!"Got the carne asada fries (super expensive) and wow was is disappointing. The carne asada looked more like ground beef, it was bland, and extremely fatty. The cheese wasn't melted and extremely stringy. Truly, disgusting, for want of a kinder word. And for customer service? Apathy wins!

    What can I say Fabulous!!!

Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger. All in all we had a great time and I would definitely come back for some other menu items, especially to try more of their margs and specialty cocktails. Thanks Urbana!

The spicy margarita wasn't my favorite and I found that it was wayyyy too spicy. The spicy really overpowered the alcohol and other flavors. The presentation for the drinks was beautiful but the flavor didn't do it for me. My friend didn't seem like she liked the sangria either. The tacos took a really long time to come out. The Al pastor pieces were cut into thick cubes. There was nothing memorable about the tacos. I really wanted to like this spot but it was a complete miss for me.
