I dined at this spot for dinner in April 2026 when in town with family on a Disneyland vacation. We were staying right near this location on Harbor Boulevard. It eas very convenient as it is located right by the crosswalk that takes you over to Disneyland. Our experience was pretty much all positive with one negative. Pros: They got our party of nine seated right away around 5:45 PM. We came with another family from home that happened to be down in Disneyland. Everyone liked their food/drinks. I got the quesabirria tacos with rice and beans. They were very flavorful. My kids liked their food. My wife liked her food. I do not recall what they ordered. I had a Cadillac Margarita. It was excellent. Service: Service was friendly and efficient. No mistakes. Everything came in a timely fashion. Convenience: If you're staying on Harbor Boulevard this is one of your best options if you don't want to eat on Disney property. They also have a happy hour and are open late. I'd definitely come here for a nightcap after leaving Disneyland if I was just with my wife. Con: There is only one. It's the prices. Man this place has some high prices. Now I get that it's 2026 and everything is pricey. I also get your paying for the convenience and prime location across from Disneyland. Even with those two factors I think this place is charging too much . I paid $29 dollars for quesabirria tacos and $21 for a Cadillac Margarita. That seems excessive. Final Thoughts: We had a good experience with good food, good service, good drinks, and the convenience. If you don't mind paying the premium for that then by all means I recommend this spot. We came here after an LAX pick-up with some friends who were really hungry! There aren't that many restaurants in Anaheim that are open between 11pm - midnight, so the fact that this establishment was even open was so appreciated. The parking was simple, you take a ticket and park in the hotel then walk to the restaurant where a host will seat you. We sat outside at the table with a fire pit which was much needed on a chilly night. The menu leans on the expensive side but you have to consider (1) its across from Disneyland and (2) the food is actually good and (3) since they're open late, you have to fund that convenience. Calaca Mama's is a Mexican restaurant located at the entrance of The Disneyland Resort on Harbor. The pros include convenience for those staying at nearby hotels. The cons, for locals like myself, would be the tight parking in the Best Western lot, hiked up prices due to its proximity to Disney property, and small menu with no specials (like taco Tuesday). All taco plates, burritos, or bowls are $24. The restaurant was very bright, dimming the lights and adding accent lighting would make a huge difference in the overall ambiance and warmth. Staff were friendly, but new and forgot some of the order, once reminded they grabbed it quickly. Then price of the food for what you're getting is lacking, as a local I don't see myself returning to this location - but for those on vacation staying nearby the food is decent, we appreciated the complementary chips and salsa. read more

What a yummy find! The location is perfect if you're in the area for Disneyland! Literally right across the stop light from the Disney main entrance exit to the hotels on S Harbor! The cantina is beautiful! Well designed and so well lit! Bright and airy! The decorations are well thought off! And let's not forget the restrooms for customers! We only ordered 2 entrees - size and taste was perfect! The bowl with the carne asada protein and the 3 tacos with shrimp as protein. For a restaurant located directly across the street from Disneyland, I was very surprised to find there were no changing tables in the restrooms (women's or men's). Kinda tough to change a 10 month old without letting him touch the bathroom floor. We were a party of 4 (2 adults, 1 baby, 1 toddler) and we were seated at a table quickly, and they did have a high chair for my youngest. However when they brought out little plates for our appetizer they only provided 2, and when we asked for 2 more plates for our kids, they were genuinely surprised we needed more plates to share the appetizer. It happened again when we asked for 2 more napkins/utensil rolls for the kids. Keep in mind we did order 2 actual kids meals from their kids menu -- so napkins/utensils for them would be expected. And then when it came time to pay the bill, the waiter disappeared. Not a big deal, maybe he's on his break. But I had to ask 2 different people (a different waiter and a busboy) if we could please get the check and while they both said they'd tell our waiter, he didn't appear for 20 more minutes. I will say that my husband and I both enjoyed the food. It was really great (minus the amount of lettuce pieces in the ceviche). It's just a bummer that this restaurant wasn't as kid friendly as I would have hoped. Also, a drunk guy wandered over from the bar area to our table and tried to interact with my kid. Went to disneyland on a rainy day. On the way back to the hotel, this restaurant was on the corner. Decided to try it out since the location is so convenient! It's literally across from Disney after the crosswalk. My family and I were seated right away. We were in wet ponchos but the staff didn't fuss about it. Our server Bryan was really attentive and explained some of the dishes to us. I got a margarita mocktail and birria ramen. Food came out quickly. I was freezing so I wanted soup. DRINK - the Cadillac margarita is the way to go 5/5 SERVICE Our server was attentive and helpful. He constantly checked on us and at the end, surprised us with a churro firework show! Came here with my sister, her husband, and my niece after being at Disneyland which is a small walk across. I ordered the quesabirria tacos, my brother in law got carne asada tacos, and my sister got the birria ramen. We also ordered a queso fondue for the table which was pretty bomb. We visited here in October 2025 with friends. It was located right across from Disneyland and it was an easy walk and it's very accessible. The bathrooms here were extremely nice, a weird thing to point out, but worth mentioning, it's obvious that they care a lot about the customer experience. Okay, onto the food! We finally stopped in to try this spot my family and I always pass on our trips to Disney. The interior is vibrant and well lit, definitely a great place for photos. Terrible service, went in and felt rushed to go in and out. We went in at 12:25 to drink a couple drinks with my family, and was told that they were gonna close at 1. We finished our first round of drinks around 12:40 and wanted a second round of drinks and were told that they were gonna serve us. Then the manager talked to the server and told us that they no longer were going to serve us and that we had to leave. Overall, bad experience and wouldn't recommend coming here. Two reasons why you should come here: the perfect way to celebrate a good day (aka end a Disney day) or to forget about your bad day by having a couple of drinks. I don't drink, so I ordered a mocktail (Forgotten Grapefruit) but it was JUST as good, I'm assuming, as getting a regular drink. They're open until 1 a.m. every day and even serve breakfast and brunch. I ordered the rainbow burrito with lengua and I couldn't finish it because I kept snacking on the chips and guac and aguachile from earlier. There were so many snacky foods here as well as meals that would leave you full, so the choice is up to you. Because they had taken the salsa away and they charge them. I asked about it and they said first one is on them and second one they charge. I believe they should and mention second they charge. I asked if they can remove chip and salsa they said they will have to charge for salsa. Total was 7 dollar for both they remove. Chips so was 6 dollars. I went to Calacas Mamas today, the one in Anaheim. It was such a good experience!!! Service was 10/10, food was just right (another one 10/10), those enchiladas verdes were fire(10/10 definitely recommend), and the chile relleno was so dang good (&&& 10/10)!. This place exceeded my expectations. I was cynical about a place so close to Disneyland. The kids both got quesadillas. My wife got chicken floutas and I got the veggie taco plate. The only thing my wife didn't like was the rice but everything else was a hit. I really appreciate the veggie option too. My favorite was the mushroom taco. I loved it so much that when I came back to Disneyland the following week, we came here for dinner with the family. I definitely will go back just for this if nothing else. My Queso Birria tacos were delicious. My grandkids had steak tacos and the carne asada was SO FREAKING good in those tacos. We tried both kinds of beans and they had so much flavor, they really layer the flavor in their food. DO NOT pass up on the Churros. They are homemade, to order, and what churros should always taste like. They are brought on a small cart that sits on your table with two sauces to dip in. Service and ambiance is great which isn't surprising considering its proximity to Disneyland, which is right across the street from an entrance. We just got in to Anaheim and needed a place for lunch and Calaca Mamas was a very short walk away. The food was delicious but the ceviche left something to desire as half the dish was lettuce. The house made guacamole and elote (not pictured thanks to a corn loving toddler) were perfect. Our drinks were a nice little kickoff to our vacation and refresher after a day of driving.
